@Alrik: On my previous post, your Fly buff is listed last?
Alrik, choosing to follow in Cobb's footsteps, decides to self buff with Resist Energy.
As he does so, the only sound the group hears is the chittering from inside the sphere and the flap of a huge dragon's wings.

Katja, seeing the darkness is worried, and rightfully so that the darkness could rip them to shreds. She moves back 60', thanks to her haste spell and tries to undo the magic present before them.

Katja sends out a wave of arcane power to disrupt the giant globe of darkness but her magical power seems weaker than whatever is inside the sphere.

"Well? Not magic darkness?"
With the darkness looming, he double-times it back towards the entrance, hoping to buy time for his allies to give him a good shot.
Double move.
Sarasha |
I'm waiting on Lukas to see where he takes me. Literally.
GM Bold Strider |
Cobb flees backwards through the darkness, unable to see much, but bursts out of the sphere into the light, grateful that he didn't run into a wall.
@Sarasha: It has been a few days, so I am going to bot Lukas.
Lukas, continuing to carry the woman, flees back to join the group of Cobb and Tessa, knowing that the darkness sphere is likely to be problematic.

@Alrik: You can't use it as a move action if you cannot see the object or individual. You would have to use the three round cone version that costs a standard action. Also, they have total concealment since you are effectively blinded.
Alrik, looking to put some hurt back on the creature that attacked him, takes a wild swing in the pitch black sphere.

Tessa continues to move into the darkness as Sarasha plummets from the ceiling, surprising the creatures in the black. The woman's attempt to hide in the rocky ceiling must have worked and, coupled with her boldness, it lets her strike without retaliation, however she is still blind and the strike merely pierces the ground.
We are bonded by nature for the moment, Ser Cobb. says the oddly familiar voice. Blink a few times. it advises.
As Cobb blinks, he finds that his eyes are adjusting to the darkness and he can see. Behind him stands Azmur Kell. The druid's hand is on his shoulder and the man's eyes are closed, granting him to ability to see in this darkness.
You have risked your life to help save my wife, so I could not take the coward's way out. he says stoically, knowing that his presence could mean his wife's death. Let us kill the three grioths in here. The dragon waits for his minions to die or for you to die as you can now see.
Asmur's hand points past the three grioths fighting the group in the pure darkness and Cobb sees the dragon perched on the rocky outcropping just inside the 'greenhouse'. He looks wholly uninterested in the fight.
A surprise strike may work, but he is just as willing to breath his acidic breath onto his men as he is onto you if you try to harm him and this darkness could prove fatal for most.
You now have the See in Darkness quality while you remain in contact with Azmur Kell.

Tessa moves a bit closer to the sounds of combat, where she nearly runs into the grioth. Startled she attempts to hurl a snowball at it point blank range.
Cast Defensively DC 17: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (11) + 8 = 19
Snowball; PBS: 1d20 + 6 + 1 ⇒ (15) + 6 + 1 = 22
Damage: 5d6 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (3, 5, 1, 6, 5) + 1 + 1 = 22
Miss chance; Low is good: 1d100 ⇒ 75
DC 14 Fort Save or Staggered from the snowball for 1 round.
Separate DC 13 Fort Save or slowed as per the slow spell for 1 round for rime blooded.
Cobb |
Cobb grimaces as he observes Katja still fails to move. He sizes up the distance between himself as the sorceress, but then assesses there's just not enough time to bring a wand into play and restore her to active duty himself.
"Dragon incoming! 'Bout two dozen steps ahead of you all. Stay spread!"
Move action to study the dragon. It seems like a grioth may still be in play? If so, it's Cobb's 2nd studied target and he'll fire an arrow into it. If not, he'll cast True Strike on himself with his standard. Spell slot not expended (yet) since I'm assuming the shot is fired.
+1 keen longbow (heroism, deadly, DF, cats, studied): 1d20 + 7 + 2 - 2 + 2 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 7 + 2 - 2 + 2 + 2 + 2 = 24 for 1d8 + 3 + 4 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 3 + 4 + 2 + 2 = 12
GM Bold Strider |
Lukas, Sarasha and Tessa all flail about in the dark as they try to attack while they cannot see, however Cobb, utilizing his miraculous sight, fires an arrow directly into the last remaining grioth.
The grioth roars as he bashes the arrow shaft, snapping it off, before striking out at the wizard that moved into melee with the creature.
Stab @ Tessa-12 Blinded AC: 1d20 + 8 + 1 ⇒ (10) + 8 + 1 = 19
Damage: 1d6 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 12
Non-lethal: 1d4 ⇒ 1
As the creature lunges, it embeds it shortsword deep into Tessa's gut as the metal reacts with her nervous system, giving her a shock.

@Alrik: You are essentially moving to where Cobb is guiding you, however you still have to find a prone sylph in a 5' x 5' square, so I would apply Total Concealment to the touch. Also, you moved 20' so you would need an Acrobatics check in order not to trip.
Acrobatics: 1d20 + 1 - 5 ⇒ (11) + 1 - 5 = 7 12 Dex and -5 ACP from the Full Plate; DC 10. You still have a move or standard.
Alrik, turning the pure darkness, trips over his own feet and face plants into the cavern floor.
Acid Damage: 10d6 - 10 ⇒ (1, 6, 4, 6, 2, 3, 1, 5, 2, 1) - 10 = 21 DC 20 Reflex to halve.
In the pitch black, you hear the dragon roar as it gets closer, however the sound of its wings seems to indicate that it falls back after it roars close by.

So as far as any of us know, the remaining grioth is still at the red X? I guess since talking is a free action, I'll ask Cobb:
Lukas calls out, "Cobb, you can see, right? Is the last minion still to my right?"
Was going to say 'at my 2 o'clock' but it sounds strange in the Golarion context.
Cobb |
Cobb fires off a pair of arrows while he contemplates how to best coordinate his allies.
Swift action for bane (vs grioth since it still stands)
+1 keen longbow (pt blk, rapid, studied, deadly, div favor): 1d20 + 7 + 1 - 2 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 7 + 1 - 2 + 2 + 2 = 26 for 1d8 + 3 + 1 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 3 + 1 + 2 + 2 = 15
bane: 2d6 ⇒ (6, 6) = 12
+1 keen longbow (pt blk, rapid, studied, deadly, div favor): 1d20 + 7 + 1 - 2 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 7 + 1 - 2 + 2 + 2 = 15 for 1d8 + 3 + 1 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 3 + 1 + 2 + 2 = 12
bane: 2d6 ⇒ (1, 3) = 4
If that drops the grioth...
"Fall back out of the dark! Just the dragon's up! The dark is likely coming from one of the corpses!"
If that doesn't drop the grioth, he'll instead focus on guiding his companions on where it is to finish it off.

Coming! Make way!
Sarasha heeds Cobb's advice and moves at maximum speed back toward the entrance.
Double move. Can't fail a DC10 Acrobatics with +12 modifier.

Assuming the grioth is down, how about Lukas carries you again, Sarasha?
