Zakon and Gaarm both strike out at the reddish flying creature and actually hit the damned thing, sending it flying around in a circle.

It screams as Sir Thomas hunkers down on the rafters of the vats, very nearly feeling like he is about to throw up from the noxious fumes. Naxx, at Gaarm's guidance, drops to the floor and crawls over to shake Nizvit awake.

The tiny kobold blinks a few times and looks in surprise at the man.

The bluish one flaps around and tries to take a bite out of Gaarm, looking to injure this newcomer.

While the reddish bugger doesn't seem to like this turn of events and flaps over to the table, landing on the edge for a second. It extends its long jaw down and tries to snap Naxx on the back.

Naxx screams out in pain as the iron teeth rend his flesh and take a bit with them, but Gaarm holds his tongue as his fury is great.

As the buggers act, you see that the cloud in the room is dissipating, however the effects are lingering.

Gaarm, with a windup, cuts down the flapping reddish creature, slicing it clean in half as Nizvit tries to summon up flames to deal with the bluish one, however it chomps at the kobold.

Naxx no longer threatened by a demon stands up and retrieves his fallen scythe while continuing his song...encouraging everyone to lay down the smack on the remaining enemy.


As the group flounders without their religious leader, Zakon flails around some more, clearly still being affected by the poisonous cloud while Naxx recovers and stands up.

The small, flying creature snaps and clacks as it sees that one of its enemies is dead and it strikes out at Zakon.

Naxx continues to sing, hoping that someone will get some benefit from his inspirational songs about the great Heroes who slaughtered their way through the demons inhabitting the Worldwound as he takes a step forward and slices the air with his scythe ..hoping to catch the flying red thing in the wings.

..but weak from loss of blood and nearly not capable of carrying his weapon almost slices of his own feet.


@Naxx: Not yet.

@Zakon: The cloud is gone. You are just sickened for a short time after leaving/the cloud dissipating.

Naxx and Gaarm step up to strike down the creature, but Zakon's tail proves to be the necessary ingredient for success as is rapidly strikes twice and the electrical charge seems to overwhelm the creature.

Bzzzzt... Brrtt.. Bzz...

It hits the ground with a crash and you seem to be out of danger for now.

Sir Thomas:
The woman sighs as the man avoids commenting on her beauty or even acknowledging her nudity. "Why do I keep you around?" she asks, seemingly rhetorically.

She stands up, still fully nude, and does a long look over the tall paladin. "You were always the least likely recruit for my cause. You lack any and all sexual desire." she says, seemingly commenting to herself.

"Only Aroden knows why you were taken into my temple..." she says with a sigh. "But, you do a bit of good and give me some brownie points in most of the towns you visit, so I guess I can bequest a small gift." she says as she reaches out to touch his forehead.

"Regardless I want to kill those two as much as anyone for what they done to me. But I got nothing left. Just a spell and an extract. I need to spend time in that lab, brewing some potions. Can you watch my back while I do that?

"After that, whatever you all want to do, I guess I can help."

Drawing his longsword Gaarm watches over the entrance to the room while the rest recuperate and Zakon works at the alchemy table.

"How much time you need?" Kneeling down he checks Sir Thomas for a pulse.

he tries to stabilize the paladin's more serious injuries. cast Stabilize.

If he feels any sort of a pulse Gaarm will heal what little bit he has learned from his travels with Sir Thomas.

Ah! No worries. I saw the two level 1 feats and assumed Human. Either way, I hope you think this opens up some opportunities for great RP!

You can do as you wish, though this is a dynamic world. It is now a bit past midnight and is now the first day of the trial. You are looking at one minute per extract and one hour for the mutagen. Plus any time spent beyond that.

Gaarm looks to tend to Sir Thomas' body, but his magic seems to have no effect. The man is thoroughly dead.

He momentarily stops and searches the open formale book next to him, double checking the quantity before pouring a viscous white substance in.

"Just another minute if you please or not" he whispers to himself.

Gaarm escorts the trio outside after unbarring the door from the inside before moving back inside and climbing the ladder to get back up to Sir Thomas's corpse.

Gaarm/Sir Thomas:
When Gaarm returns, he sees a smoldering body where Sir Thomas's corpse lay. He momentarily freaks out at the immolation, but relaxes once it quickly puts itself out. In the place of his friend, the body of a woman is found and she seems to have none of Sir Thomas's wounds and the man's armor seems to be clad to her instead. Also, she seems to have claws. Quite odd.

She is, however, unconscious.

As Zakon continues to create his alchemical creations. Hearing the arguing behind him "Whatever it is you two are bickering about ... for the love of the nine hells ... would you just leave off as I finis .... Who are you and where is that holy man?"

Zakon continues to pour a pale yellow liquid from one flask onto the floor, missing his vial completely as he takes in the scene. "First he dies." as Zakon's tail flicks at Gaarm, "And now holy man dies and is ... holy woman? You a girl or a woman?" Zakon finally places the flask on the work bench and wipes his sweating brow.

"Bah what do I care? You use a sword? Need a weapon? Two buggers still left in this place are we are sorely outmatched. Gonna run out of hear once I get these topped off. Names Zakon and this is Gaarm, and .... whatever their names are. Little kobold can chuck some fire though!"

If you take DD instead of Sorcerer, then the archetype will work as normal. IF you take DD instead of Wizard, then you won't gain anything from Blood of Dragons or the extra Bloodline feats. (Basically, you can't double advance your bloodline.)

Just letting you know as some others have expressed interest in Prestige Classes. The basic rule is that any class combination that gives the same thing does not double up. For example, Slayer 20/Vivisectionist Alchemist 20 does not give +16d6 Sneak Attack, just +10d6 Sneak Attack. You would lose the Sneak Attack increases from Slayer in that example.

But, Wiz/DD sounds awesome!

It really buffs out my stats. Str penalty goes away. Con penalty goes away and an Int increase. Not bad. Means i can focus on Cha and dex

So this is what I am kind of thinking for the next few levels with Gaarm.

Take next 5 levels as Bloodrager / Oracle (Life) and then back to Bloodrager / Fighter.

This will help with a few things and actually fit in with Gaarm's story and feel as he is already celestial.

It will


  • bump his Will save up there to a decent amount.
  • Give a couple of smaller channels which will help save 2 of Sir Thomas' in between fights.
  • Completely cut out fatigue from my rages if I run low as the Bloodrager does not hit full potential until level 10.

As Gaarm is already Celestial bloodline the life oracle would fit quite well to round him out as a character. Real soon he will start getting visions from his angelic guardian angel :)

These are just my thoughts;
I like the idea of you dipping oracle. (I assume lame curse to avoid fatigue) also it sounds like it fits your character'so personal story arch.
I have no issue with another person helping with the heals, but I am not sure it is completely necessary. The build I envision, will negate a good deal of damage against BBEG (Bastion of Good) and will be pretty effective at healing. The only big need for another healer is if I go down in a fight. Phyton can hit me with a CLW if needed and so could you even if you choose a mystery besides life.

I think it is totally fine if you choose life mystery for character development reasons.
If for your character development your mystery does not matter, there are a lot of mysteries that can give you some pretty cool stuff that may be more bang for your buck.

Some nice ones that kind of fit Gaarm

Battlefield Clarity (Ex):
Once per day, as an immediate action, whenever you fail a saving throw that causes you to become blind, deaf, frightened, panicked, paralyzed, shaken, or stunned, you may attempt that saving throw again, with a +4 insight bonus on the roll. You must take the second result, even if it is worse. At 7th and 15th level, you can use this ability one additional time per day.

Surprising Charge (Ex)::
Once per day, you can move up to your speed as an immediate action. You can use this ability one additional time per day at 7th level and 15th level.

Extra channels for post battle healing are definitely not bad though so if you decide to go that route it is fine with me.

Yes, I was also looking at Battle Mystery as the 5 hour long DR/10- Adamantine would also be helpful along with the once a day saves reroll.

So I need to pick out a 2nd lvl oracle spell known. I get CMW and Lesser Restoration for free, any requests? I also get to prepare 1 lvl 1 paladin spell, any requests there? I am kind of leaning toward shield other for the 2nd lvl oracle spell unless there is something someone wants.

Alright. I believe I am all leveled. HP is still lowered from the -4 CON curse. I took a level of Bloodrager and a level of Battle Oracle.

Bloodrager spells gained are expeditious retreat and Thunderstomp

Oracle spells gained are CLW, Liberating Command and Comprehend Languages.

Revelation I took Battlefield Clarity to help with my saves.

Taking this character to where he has acquired some form of a guardian angel. The angel is what fuels his divine and arcane magic. His celestial Bloodline being what drew it's attention.
