The life links were dropped, but not the shield others. I can't drop them that easy. The only question is wether Naxx benefits from the bastion of good. He needs to be within 10 feet.

For Zakon and Nizvit, they are definitely in the bastion of good. The damage is first cut in half. So 8 damage before saves. They both failed so with the shield other spells, I took 4 and they took 4. I failed my save so I took 16. That totals up to 24 for me and 4 for each of Nizvit and Zakon. Naxx passed his save so the damage was halved. Of that damage I take half with shield other. This puts my damage for the round at 28 and everyone else's at 4. If Naxx is within range of the bastion of good, then he only took 2 and I only took 26.

@Naxx. If you are not within the bastion of good, move closer.

@Thomas. The damage didn't made me rethink my life. The negative energy did (I have no idea how a wave of negative energy feels..but seems to me like it would bring up negative thoughts..just rp stuff)
I was trying to move out of the room to avoid being in the channel burst at all, and save you from taking multiple people's damage....but I can always move back if that's better?

@Sir Thomas: You have too many effects. :P

The duo of mages sends their magic out into the cloud to try and hinder the pulsing waves of negative energy that pour into the room.

GM:
Glitterdust - DC 12: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (3) + 8 = 11
Spontaneous Immolation - DC 19: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (18) + 7 = 25

Nizvit's fire fails to start in the oppressive fog, however Naxx appropriately coats the corner of the room in glitter, though he is unsure of the result due to his positioning at the bottom of the ladder, however this is quickly rectified.

Grine yells out. "Bah! I will kill you for that!" he yells as Naxx then sees the blind creature scurry across the ceiling and pulls open the trap door. He puts two fingers to his lips and sends out a whistle.

A second after he whistles, Naxx sees three little, leathery things with bone and metal jaws fly out of the trap door and descend on the group.

Sir Thomas and Nizvit quickly see the same as it seems that one of each has come to attack.

Naxx can take an AoO against Blue or Green.

Glitterdust (End of Turn) - DC 12: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (16) + 8 = 24

Zakon, can you hit him with your tail? One of your hits may be enough to take him down.

@Sir Thomas: I messed up the dice rolls when I added the Glitterdust roll to the GM spoiler after typing everything up! I corrected it.

@Nizvit: You can't see through the cloud to target Grine at this point from your position with that spell. You would have to move into a flanking position between the small biters to be able to see Grine. Also, you need Kn. Arcana to tell what the creatures are, though anyone trained in Religion can tell they aren't undead. Additionally, I corrected his HP.

Grine yelled, whistled, and Naxx can see him, so Naxx can tell me where he is. I can attack the square with concealment adjustment. If that doesn't work mechanically, I will retcon my turn to drinking a True Strike extract.

Perception to find Grine: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (16) + 12 = 28

Nizvit overcomes the poison as Naxx slashes at the evil bugger. His glaive glances off of the carapace of the flying creature, failing to harm it, but then the poison sets in and he falls to the ground, asleep.

@Zakon: Grine is 20' from you. Don't you only have 15' reach with Longarm extract active? (10' reach base + 5' from extract). Also, since you missed, letting you have an extract seems reasonable!

Zakon quaffs an extract to improve his aim as Nizvit shields himself. Sir Thomas turns into a holy elemental and heals his wounds.

Grine laughs as Naxx falls to the ground and the evil buggers flutter around, lashing out at people.

GM This is the third encounter in a row where we are severely limited, or cannot at all, attack Grine and Vorstag. ::Big Whiny Face:: Secondly, I am having trouble visualizing where Grine was during all of this. His last 'location' was in the room with everyone in it. Is that ceiling 20'? Seems awfully high for a 'normal' 2nd story room. You also described his voice as getting farther away. If he was in that room, to exit he would have to travel down from the ceiling to exit the door frame, and unless the door is 20' high, I am threatening. With a perception roll of 28 I would hear a creature pass be and be able to take an AoO with a concealment chance miss I assume. Even with a high Stealth Check, someone in our party was able to see him and call out positions to aid me in finding him. If none of this applies, than I will attack the nearest creature, i.e. green. I can also take a 5-foot step to avoid concealment from Sir Thomas.

"Don't let him get away men! We have to kill at least one of these pieces of filth."

Guarding the door, Zakon waits for Grine's exit to strike.

Attack vs Green Creature:

Unarmed attack, true strike, IC, sickened: 1d20 + 8 + 20 + 1 - 2 ⇒ (20) + 8 + 20 + 1 - 2 = 47
Damage, IC: 1d8 + 5 - 2 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 5 - 2 + 1 = 5
Shock Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 1

Unarmed attack, true strike, IC, sickened, confirm: 1d20 + 8 + 20 + 1 - 2 ⇒ (17) + 8 + 20 + 1 - 2 = 44
Damage, IC: 1d8 + 5 - 2 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 5 - 2 + 1 = 6

@Zakon: 1) That's the nature of this building and these combats. :(

2) Grine's last position (before Naxx had some nap time) is where he is marked on the map. He was hanging from the underside of the 10' tall room. Additionally, Naxx would have told you that the three "evil buggers" came down from the trapdoor in the ceiling when Grine spent his turn to open it, so it is likely that Grine has fled through the trapdoor and not come past you, especially since you can no longer see him.

@Sir Thomas: It isn't magical. It is a poison, so you wouldn't be immune. Also, you would fall asleep before you could act.

No worries, it really is a great spell. Also, did all these creatures take 5-foot steps to attack? If not, I should have gotten an AoO with a 15-foot reach. If so, please make the AoO for me.

Seeing Sir Thomas' body ravaged by these technological creatures, Zakon silently curses to himself. Knowing that time is short, and his resources are depleted, Zakon draws forth his inner energies for a massive offense to save the life of the holy man. Arcane Pool Point for Arcane Accuracy

"Hold on, Holy Man. We got work to do and I need you."

Eyeing the creature before him, he lashes out with his tail. Streaking over his shoulder it slams into the creatures shoulder, tipping it on its axis. Unbeknownst to the creature, Zakon's rune has been inscribed on its body and only those versed in magic can see it. Cast Arcane Mark

"Creature, I know not if you understand me, but I have marked you as mine. It is time you die."

His tail once again flicks out, slamming into the creature and discharging electricity into its body.

5 or 6 from the start of the fight? Wasn't keeping track. Let's call it 5 if that is more beneficial for you.

Sir Thomas, awoken by the biting, grimaces as he shifts into an elemental once more, healing his wounds while he lays on the ground.

Zakon, choosing to strike out at the closest target after seeing that the fallen Paladin is awake, sends his sharp tail into the mist, striking the creature hovering above the man, sending gears and pieces of leather flying.

Gaarm, reacting to the sounds of battle, rushes into the room. He sees the giant cloud of poison and knows that his friends must be inside, so he rushes into the gaseous cloud.

Fortitude: 1d20 + 5 - 2 ⇒ (20) + 5 - 2 = 23

He easily overcomes the stench of the cloud and sees Zakon fighting against the construct over the body of Sir Thomas, while the pair is surprised to see that the man is still alive.

He rushes up to strike at the creature blocking the doorway, but his sword clatters off of the frame.

Longsword: 1d20 + 11 + 2 - 2 ⇒ (5) + 11 + 2 - 2 = 16

The trio of misfit toys begin to swarm as the bluish one that Zakon just harmed bites out at the tiefling.

Bite @ Zakon-18 AC: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (20) + 8 = 28
Bite Confirmation @ Zakon-18 AC: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (15) + 8 = 23

With a sharp crunch, the teeth of the creature bites down hard on Zakon's tail as it flails around.

Damage: 2d6 + 4 ⇒ (5, 6) + 4 = 15

As it bites, it retreats back into the room, dodging the sweeping tail.

5' step

The greenish, injured construct decides it wants to join in on the fight as it tries to take a bite out of Zakon as well.

Bite @ Zakon-18 AC: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (15) + 8 = 23
Damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6

As the bites set in, Zakon realizes that he isn't being assaulted by sleeping poison and the pair must have exhausted their stores.

The reddish construct flaps around in the cloud as well, trying to find something to eat.

Bite @ Naxx-7 AC: 1d20 + 8 + 4 ⇒ (11) + 8 + 4 = 23
Damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7

With the sound of a metallic chomp echoing through the room, you hear Naxx scream in pain as he is awoken.

@Zakon: The sickened for you is from the belching vats and is automatic in the room for as long as you stay in the room. The cloud was from a spell that Grine cast.

@Sir Thomas: Appreciate the honesty, but let's just say you were at 8!

In the melee, Sir Thomas flails against the cloud as he tries to distract the floating buggers while healing himself and he proves successful in this endeavor, however it sends the buggers into a frenzy as they flap and fight mindlessly against the bold intruders.

This frenzy proves to be too much for Zakon as his tail cannot seem to find its target as the cloud's smoke is getting into his eyes.

Naxx stands up and looks into the cloud, unsure of what happened, but thinks it best to merely grab his weapon.

The floating buggers whir and moan as their glowing green eyes seem to fade, but they begin to attack once again after recharging their batteries, though.
