+20? He cast true strike last round? Jerk! (Range: Personal)
Round 1 (attack after Aara's slumber hex failed):
Pilfered Greataxe (PA, 2h): 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11 for 1d12 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13
Round 2 (after getting hit, ow!) :
Kilthan shakes his head after the mighty blow and then snarls, "Aye, two can play at that game." and swings with the borrowed greataxe, bringing it down upon the cleric.
Pilfered Greataxe (PA, 2h): 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (14) + 5 = 19 for 1d12 + 7 ⇒ (10) + 7 = 17 (hit, thanks to Aara's evil eye)

I can Hex, Cackle, and 5-foot step. Cackle counts as a move action, so either I do 2 moves and no standard, or I have to stop cackling. I think you guys like the -2 AC and -2 attack. My intention is to hex the second cleric, cackle, and then 5-foot move to switch places with someone if that is possible.

Despite having a hard time hitting the cleric due to him being blurry, Kithan lands a solid blow on the cleric. The female cleric uses a wand to heal him then steps back.
1d8 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
The half-orc swings back at Kilthan then also steps back away from Kilthan's furious axe.
Flail1d20 + 7 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 7 + 1 = 14
Attack 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4
The two tieflings down the hall take the opportunity to fire upon Kilthan after the cleric pair steps back, but neither hit.

I delay until Kilthan and Justin move forward, then 5-foot move to T11.

A dark black whip suddenly appears in Aarakess' hand. She draws back and whips it at the female cleric where it wraps around the cleric causing her to drop to the ground paralyzed from the neck down.

Hmm, I thought that it paralyzed you initially and then made you unconscious, but now that I reread it, it appears to paralyze you, and then paralyze you again. Strange. It is your call as the wording could definitely use some cleaning up.

It seems to me like the first sentence is telling what the spell does and not the initial effect. Otherwise it is much more powerful than hold person, a second level spell that gives a save every round to overcome. A quick search doesn't give any additional info that I can find. So I am going to rule that there is no save to be drained by the whip but they are not paralyzed until a score reaches 1. If that changes your action or your desire for the spell you can swap it out or change your action
Maybe throw the link and description of the spell on the Rule Forum and ask for clarification of the spell?

The forum consensus was paralyzation didn't happen until a stat reached 1. I am with the majority that thought initial sentence was a topic sentence setting the stage for the rest of the spell description.

Kilthan fires an arrow and Justin swings his greataxe, but neither find their mark
The half-orc grins and set to trip up Justin and justin loses his feet

Justin winces as the evil cleric hits him while he is down. He looks up and says, "Iomedae will smite you. Good tactics, but not good enough evil one." Justin looks disappointingly at his intact magic shield--it has proved less effective than he would have thought.

"When there is room Dryn, I want all the bombs you can toss. Right now we need Aarakess' nasty magic whip. Luckily on my butt I am not in the way."

Is the female cleric on the steps? I did not realize that.
I shall try to disable the half-orc. Then you can smite the human Justin.
Move: Cackle - continues all Evil Eye hexes.
Standard: Slumber Hex Half-Orc - DC15 or asleep for 3 rounds <-- I do not believe I have used this on him yet.
Then 5-foot step to clear a space for Drin if necessary.
I see no reason why Justin cannot coup de gras the sleeping half-orc. It will draw an AoO from the female I think, but since she has a wand in her hand, probably not a problem.
Also, what weapon is the human cleric using? Did he attack Justin from 10'?

Justin is tempted to strike the helpless half-orc, but can't bring himself to do it.
A holy warrior has to have higher standards than the evil scum he fights.

Crud. Was hoping to have a square to move into.
Kilthan, no longer having a clear shot on the now-prone half-orc snarls and drops his bow, pulling the waraxe from his belt.
