Ah, no. I missed that somehow. So, Skorhald, save a charge on the wand for Jagdbach (possibly more, depending when Rohara channeled as you were using them) -- and 18 more for Kilthan sure makes him a happier scout. We're both at full.

You open the door to see two tables, each surrounded by plain wooden chairs, sitting in the middle of this chamber. Unorganized heaps of maps, notes, and books cover each table. A large map of Magnimar hangs on the opposite wall.

Ooh, evil maps with words. BURN THEM BURN THEM . . . oh, wait, I did not get reincarnated as a goblin. My bad.

Aarakess moves forward and begins to look at the maps to see whether they provide any clues regarding targets, or what the intentions of this cult of shape shifters is.

Knowledge (general): 1d20 ⇒ 7

--> +13 local/arcana for 20
--> +12 planes/religion/nature for 19
--> +11 history for an 18
--> +7 engineering/geography/dungeoneering for a 14
--> no ranks in nobility

Aarakess does a quick sweep of the sheer volume of information and discovers that it covers a varity of subjects including merchant councils, various guilds, various noble familys, courts miltia and other government groups. However, to really find out something useful would take a couple hours of organizing and sifting through all the material to connect the dots. Up to you whether you want to make that kind of time investment right now

Nope, box it. We can put it in a bag of holding and then sort through it when we are not being attacked by dopplegangers.

Oops... missed that, page turned and I didn't notice. Taking charges back unless GM Blood objects.

I have no problem with you taking back those charges for later use!

While Aara starts examining the maps and the like, Kilthan searches the room for any secret ways in and out.

When she announces the intent to pack it all up, he nods in agreement, "Let's be sure we keep it all safe. A group of spiders this sneaky's probably got half the city in its web by now, and we'll need to expose 'em."

Edit: Was also commenting on charges, but ninja'ed.

Justin then leads them to the next unexplored area and casts a blessing on the party.

"I am sure that we too can figure things out as well." Rohara adds, "The situation does not allow such at this time. As I mentioned previously, I would really like something that can dectect these shifters and know if whom we are speaking to is who they say they are and not an imposter."

"This," she motions to all the papers as they are being stored, "Seems to indicate some mass conspiracy. Who in the city of any importance can be trusted until their identity is verified? Can you be sure that this sponsor is who they say they are. The attack at the inn seemed rather specific to blame the group for a murder. That means someone deems many of you a threat."

As the group starts forward again she stops thinking allowed to her friends.

Jagdbach goes to the edge of the pit and starts sniffing at the hole, looking for his two-legged companion. He then eyes the walls of the pit, and reaches out with a paw, testing how they dig into the side to determine if he can climb down to try to find his friend.

She looks at Dryn:

And then at Rohara:

Do I know whether Dopplegangers have some way to read deep thoughts of those they mimic? I mean more than just basic surface thoughts?

She looks to Aarakess as she floats back up and questions them, again, She thinks for a moment, "Oh, yes Alastor. He and I were able to talk later as well but, that is something for another time."

She looks to Dryn to see if the tiefling answers correctly... while she waits Rohara casts a orison to grant her magic sight. Speaking lowly to Densa while grasping her holy symbol, "Grant me the sight to see magic."

Dryn'taka looks at both of you then slams into Jagdbach pushing him over the side. Jag gets an AoO however

Not sure what the dragon needs to tie her up. Usually you need to Grapple, then Pin before tying someone up. I figured that as long as I keep hitting Dryn with evil eye hexes, you eventually should be able to get her tied and bound.

On the other hand, Cieslx could probably use Aid Another to help you tie her up.
