Hey all, I am in a Serpent Skull campaign which is just starting, actually restarting as the first DM just quit after 2 weeks. We have a new DM who is a long time player in another campaign I am in. It looks like we need 2 more players. Right now we have a Mwangi Elf Wizard(transmuter) - me, a human Bard(archeologist), and a human cleric. Looks like we need at least one melee player. The second is open. I do not think that the DM has put any serious restrictions on races or classes, but probably Core/APG/UM/UC would be best.

I do have a melee character from a Serpent Skull game that died,
but I'll have to think on it.

It is sad that campaigns that don't die are the exception :-(

The number one causes of PbP death are, in order:
1 Player attrition
2 Chuck Norris
3 Real life DM distractions

I'll be getting the action moving in this, sorry for delaying so much. Busy week last week and sick kid this week.

I'm thinkin' we should place someone at the spot Kilthan is at to act as a spotter (Dryn would volunteer) and explore those two corridors east first. Not too far of course, but enough that we could see someone comign from the north or west.

I would normally be all over that -- I have a melee character who keeps suffering from sudden campaign death syndrome that I'd really love to play -- but I can't imagine they'd want to wait on my return (with the whole about to be away for 9 days thing).

Just a heads up that my PC decided to stop operating as normal today. I hope to get it up and running over the weekend (not 100% sure what's wrong, but I have a friend who knows abit). It should only minimally impact the games I play in, as I can post from my iPad (just takes longer to draft a post). Just wanted to give a heads up on it.

The computer is telling me it's fixed, so playing catch up. iPad posting not fun. Also tired (Halloween + kids + sugar = sleep).

Sorry this week has been slow for an update, but with Monday being my birthday, was on the road for work two days this week, and taking my son out for halloween, updating was always a few minutes more than I had time for it seemed.

Where is everyone? We used to get 50 posts a day from this group.

I'm still recovering from illness, then my computer going down for awhile, and the Paizo site update, oh and Halloween.

Fortunately this weekend I'm off, plan to get all my games caught up. Plus next week is off, which will help me get all the files I lost replaced as best able.

and the best part is the program and some basic content is free
and it's easy to make a character.

Always a plus. I had to look it up myself just to see what Tohall's options were for that action since he did have a bow in hand. Turned out well... this time.

Nice, although I don't really think that Aarakess would dress quite like that. But you got the hair and build down pat.

I did not find a clothing description in your profile under appearance, so I went with a clothing style like your avatar's.

Never seen the need to get that much description into a character. For me it is more about the personality and interaction. If necessary, I give a description IC when called for.

She would be a long travelling robe in a neutral, brownish or greenish color most likely. Remember, she has spent years as a healer and this is what she would be comfortable with. With a 10 Charisma, she is unlikely to be the one dressed to attract attention to herself.

I'll see what I have as clothing for the next pass,
as I don't have any robes.

How bad is Kilthan? I recall seeing his Hit Points at 10 for a while now even when healing was done. I just want to be sure how much he needs before Tohall will gladly offer some healing.

I have been sick the last couple of days, and combined with the heavy snow fall I have been pretty useless. With the holidays coming up things will be super slow, so look for a post mid week next week and regular posting again after the new year. Happy holidays everyone!

Wow, Xmas is over! Gotta say this has been a draining one for me. Hope everyone had a good holiday season (for those who celebrate).

Looking over my PBPs this morning, I realize it's been a bigger interruption than I thought it would be. So going through and apologizing to all my games for the somewhat unexplained absence and getting updates in as applicable.
