Even though the victim is an evil cultist, Justin feels better having Kilthan do the CDG. CDGs are so unsporting, but he is not naive, you don't give evil extra chances to beat you.
I have been though, back in 2003. Good times, met a lot of people I RPed with online in person. The good ol days of Living Force and Living Dragonstar.
I will be at Gencon. Though considering my posting rate from the last 2 weeks, don't think it'll be too different that what you've been seeing.
Oh and back home for 30ish hours until I leave for the Con! I doubt I'll be able to post at all while gone, so please feel free to do what is needed with Dryn. I have some prep stuff tomorrow but will post as I can until I actually leave. Sorry none of you will be there :( I'd take everyone if I could!
The way I resolved burning web was fire damage set web squares on fire.
Anyone STARTING their turn in a flaming web square took 2d4 at the beginning of their turn before anything else.
One round later, all adjacent web squares become burning web squares, and all burning web squares are now clear as they have burned up.
Just how I did it.
That makes sense and how I typically run it, though I tend to just do things when I run and most of the time I guess right. So you wouldn't have anyone take damage moving into or through burning webs
By the way I am will going on vacation tomorrow and coming back on Sunday. I will still be checking on my phone and updating at night, just means the updates will not be frequent.
I'm wondering if we could turn the cultists against each other -- if we could pin this violence on the people behind door number 2, for instance, we could try to let them bleed themselves dry.
Well, I was assuming there was more back here than just the one tiefling, for one thing... and that they'd probably be a little too busy freaking out to try a speak with dead?
It's all good. Bought the bow with strength rating for just this kind of thing were I can't get the nasty critters to come close and play with my axeblade.
I think Aarakess can just move to the back ahead of Ingrid.
Maybe have Ingrid delay to double move and grab a spot in front as soon as we get the cleric down?
Aarakees and Rohara can time their move to swap places, I am ok with that, then Rohara can luck Justin and he can go if that is what everyone involved wants to do.
"Murderous infidel?! You callin' me a murderous infidel?" Dryn looks up murderous infidel in the alchemitionary. "Oh. Yes, I suppose I am. Carry on with the dying then."
I'd argue the murderous infidel bit, but I'm the one who's been killing the sleepy evils.
And Aara -- I can't 5' step into a stairway -- it's difficult terrain, so I'm sort of stuck slogging away at this cleric unless someone wants to swap out with me? (eg - give me a space to back into)

He is trying to kill you and the guy next to you is using some type of good bane weapon against you. I don't think it is a problem, but it is your RPing.
The other option is to take the AoO standing up and then switch with Kilthan and let him cdg with the axe, if he has it still.
