BTW, is the extra damage they're doing manifesting in any obvious way?
The tengus work very well together and you can tell they have trained as teams. Teamwork feat Outflank You also notice with daggers they are much more adept when flanking then when they attack with other weapons like they have trained almost exclusively in them at the expense of other weapons knife master. The crossbows are light crossbows but hitting harder then one would expect , possibly magically enhanced in some way. gravity bow
Trevor the Yellow |
Wow! Nice combo GM Blood. I'll use your ideas to torture my players better ;-P

Trevor the Yellow |
Trevor moves towards the sound of battle, letting his flail and shield drop to the floor and drawing his greataxe. "Enough is enough!"
Move 20' south to get to the two Tengus attacking Quintus. Let me know if I'm doing too much with the shield and flail. I'm not sure.

Round 8:
Taken aback by the tengu leader's attempt to leap over him, Quintus' attack of opportunity merely ruffles its feathers, and the other tengu's stab finally penetrates his defenses. Trevor's timely arrival inspires him, though, and he focuses all of his attention on the leader. Quintus of Taldor |
I was counting that; six last round, and an extra ten this round when the crit confirmed. And he's *still up*?! After eating crits from Kelkzar and Quintus, plus change? I sure hope this is the boss, because otherwise we're toast. (Speaking of things I am grateful for, deciding to keep the +1 chain has saved Quintus from a world of hurt.)

Kelkzar breathes another "Thanks!" to Jirin and then sprints toward the sounds of battle to the north.
