When he felt the surge of the Dawnflower's blessing wash over them on its way to the undead, Rauno was sure it would be the end of the minor creatures. Mildly alarmed that ever single one of them was not blessed into powder, he shifts his crossbow to his left hand and draws his dagger in his right, but doesn't advance.

Move action to ready his dagger. I'm not seeing a lot that Rauno can do to help against these without using up some of his more powerful spells that we'll probably need later.

Sorry, GM, having never fought defensively before, I didn't realize you got a +3 Dodge bonus if you have 3 or more ranks in Acrobatics, so her AC fighting defensively is actually 21. But I didn't say she was still fighting defensively, and didn't take the penalties to her maneuver checks, so that 20 still hit.

Trip attempt on 2: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (16) + 9 = 25
Bullrush on 3: 1d20 + 9 - 4 ⇒ (9) + 9 - 4 = 14
Trip attempt on 5: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (7) + 7 = 14

This time much more successful, she grabs skeleton 2 and throws it at 3, sending them both sprawling. She then repeats the maneuver with 5, tossing it to the ground in front of Trevor. Then she takes a 5-foot step to O6.

Ok Rowena, then you only took 6 damage last turn and not 14. (total damage of 13 for both rounds). I didn't realize that one either, good to know

Kelkzar hits the skeleton in front of him and shatters the skeleton, then takes a step forward. Rowena follows up with a complex attack pattern causing all three remaining skeletons to be sprawled out on the floor.

Lessien moves forward avoiding a swipe from a skeleton and thumps one with her hanbo.

Hold onto that thought Quintus and Kelkzar in case you want to do something different, otherwise actions are good.

The door to the north opens up and a number of cultists come rushing out yelling at you that you a are breaking the law and need to leave.

Ah, I was getting that map when I was thinking about what to do, but not realizing what I was seeing. I'll 5-foot step to M5.

I'll stick with the attack on #5 and take a bite at #2. I think I can split an attack like that, but if not, just stick with the attack on #5.

Quintus can't easily get to the cultists, but there are a lot of them to go through and Rowena is pretty hard to hit. He'll switch to casting bless on the party instead.


Quintus is 5' from Rowena so you can still do heal if you wish. I just wanted you to see what was happening just in case

Rowena grabs cultist 1, tossing him into one of his own sentries, spilling both onto the floor, then she neatly steps around behind Kelkzar, but fails to grab her target cultist.


Yeah something was going on yesterday as access to the site was spotty all day.

Rowena throws a cultist into a skeleton, both crumpling to the ground then steps up to another cultist who manages to fend her off just enough with his longspear.

After all the attacks, two tiefling guards dressed like the ones out by the elevator open the door and move into the room skirting the wall one stopping by Kelkzar and attacking him, while the other moves down the hallway and stops at a large set of doors. The whole time they are telling you that you are breaking the law attacking their temple and should leave immediately

Both Tieflings draw an AoO from Lessien and Kelkzar. I'm assuming Kelkzar would probably take the AoO on the Cultist when he rose, but if he wouldn't have for some reason you can take one against either tiefling.

Tiefling #1 withdraws back to the smaller door down the hall telling the cultists to block the intruders. As he gets to the door down the hall, yells something to someone on the other side. If anyone has infernal let me know.

Rauno struggles to recall what the phrases mean in Infernal, but between being in the heat of combat and his studies of Infernal having been so long ago, he can't make out what the tiefling is saying. With a grimace, he commits to himself to focus his recollections and bring those long ago lessons to the forefront of his memory.

Rauno doesn't have Infernal at the moment, but will likely take it next level.


Trevor squashes a cultist Which ever one he picks. Quintus swings at the skeleton, but its rusted armor protects it enough to keep it moving. Rauno sends another bolt into the tiefling who curses but is still moving.
