I treat it like bleed where you don't take the bleed damage immediately when the bleed condition gets put on you. I call for the check on their next round after they drop for simplicity sake.
And that makes really good sense. It gives the fallen individual's peers a chance to act and save them before they risk taking that extra point of damage that may put them to negative con.

Here is a post I did for the other Age of Worms game.I plan the same thing for this game, but instead of doing a example map for you guys, I'll just copy what I typed there and link you to that test map. Let me know what you think:
Ok, here is my new experiment in map. This is just a start in what I'd like to do and want to add more.
To the right you see enemies (Kullen's group) and friendlies (which is just your party for now)
Below that are the beginnings of come conditions (Prone will probably be a good one to have available)
Below that some effects (smoke and fire for now)
Underneath the map is a 30' radius template for channels. (and is easily resized) and I'll work on a cone template.
This allows me to copy the main template and import the map. Then I can copy your icons and place them in their spot. Import the most pics, and add them in the enemies spot and their location on the map.
What I eventually would like to do, but still on the fence is to give you all edit access and you can move your own characters. The dashed line on the right would be used to track your movement path of your move action, color coded to keep each character separate.
The however requires you to log in with a gmail account, which I have to grant access to. It can potentially make your posts longer. Requires you to be able to copy and paste your character/movement line and manipulate it (like resizing). And most importantly, not mess anything else up!
What are your thoughts? Both on some of the new things and of having more map access?

Well, if you install the google docs app on your phone, you should be able to edit stuff. :)
I generally let my players move themselves, and just check the map history if I need to verify move distances, etc. All the other work you've put into that looks like an awful lot of work, but pretty awesome.

The nice thing is for the most part some of that will save me time in the long run. I have a few more ideas that I may integrate as time goes on.
I think between this game and the other the Let us move/don't move has been pretty split. I think I'll err on the side of not moving for now. maybe things will change as time goes on. There is 11 more chapters after this one to go, who knows what things will look like by then!

That is a pretty darn amazing map. I use a ton of Google Docs so I have no concern with logging in. Haven't used the mobile app version of docs, but I'll give it a try. I'll definitely be watching to see how this works and may adopt it for my games too.

I had considered being one of the pushers and using prescience to try and get a good roll. In hindsight, knowing what my next d20 roll would be, that clearly would have been better. Hopefully it won't matter after Kelkzar and Trevor make their rolls.

Just a note tomorrow Saturday Afternoon I will be having my friends over for the Age of Worms game that inspired this one. That will certainly include way too much to drink (house rule is one must take a shot of booze after rolling a 1 on an attack) so I won't be updating in the afternoon until sometime Sunday.
Starting the 7th chapter out of 12, characters just reached 13th level

Well made it halfway through #7 on Saturday, which is about right (usually takes us two Saturdays to get through each chapter) August will probably be our next game.
Also on that front, I am finally finished with my conversion through #7. When I ran through it with my friends, I ran #1 and #2 as printed 3.5, converted roughly #3 to core rules, converted #4 roughly with APG thrown in, and did full conversions through #7 (You can tell by the conversion above when we ran them, #1 Beta rule, #3 and #4 Core and #4 APG was out)
So now I can take a deep breath knowing I have at least 6 months before having to finish converting #8
