Yeah, forgot about that, for some reason hero lab doesn't show it.
If it is an actual sleep effect, I would be immune. If it's an enchantment I get +2 to save, but my will is -2 so my chances of saving still blow. :)

Thanks for the wishes, but it does not seem to be going well. Fortunately my mother-in-law, wife and step-daugther are surrounded by loads of family. We are going to a family reunion in June, but we are practically have one here and now.
It sounds like this is going to be a light weekend regardless. Take care all. Safe travels to those of you on the road.

Went well, my friends and I had a good time, even if it rattled a few people :)
Our first game was Lost Temple of the Fire Opal. I was a Follhardy and unforgiving fighter (traits listed on the sheet) and my friend played a halfling sheriff. It was an 8 player game with half afraid of their own shadow and our half who kept pushing forward.
Our second game was a Stargate D20 game. The GM was awesome and very knowledgeable of the Stargate shows. He was running 6 games over the weekend and they all cross-over in plot and minorly affected future games.
Then on Saturday we played an Egyptian themed 1st ed game. I was a dwarven fighter this time, my friend a female thief and a third friedn who came the cleric. The thief had high charisma and super high dex so he played her as an exotic dancer. My dwarf busted down a door and fell into a pit so he used the 10' of rope the cleric and and tied it to his waist and had someone "Hang onto his leash" every time he opened or busted down a door.
We tend to be a little extra aggressive at cons then a home game and I think some people were aghast at some of our actions, but it was all in fun. (Like the thief getting into a pool of swirling water which she called a jacuzzi...we all knew it had something bad in it, but sometime you just have to do it)

Oops, put this in the wrong thread. Moved...
Agreed. I love maps for combat, especially for a character like Rowena whose whole shtick is tactically moving baddies around the battlefield.
I know from experience using maps is a lot more work for the GM, but I find most of the time the players (like me) really appreciate it.

Lessien Nenmacil |

I'm playing one mapless game right now and I'm not loving the lack of a map, since I designed a positional AoO beast (9 sneak attacking AoO's per round on anything that moves within 15'), and we're just handwaving all of the battlefield positioning.
For what it's worth, this character should be able to pull off a very similar trick if we play up to the low teens :)
(Vivisectionist, fluid form, greater invis, tons of dex...)

Not sure if this answers Quintus's question, but here goes level up rules:
Class restrictions from the original recruitment still apply if multi-classing
HPs are done with 1/2dice+1/2, meaning 1d3+3 for d6, 1d4+4 for d8, 1d5+5 for d5 and 1d6+6 for d12
Whatever you get for leveling up you can use right away.
Anything else ask or PM me!
Hopefully we can get leveling done in a few days and get the game thread moving again.

1d5 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8

It's been a heck of a weekend, but I know for a fact I posted it. I don't usually go in for 'the board ate it', but in this case...
In any case, I'll roll again, since it's clearly not here anymore:
1d4 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7

GM Blood |

Knowledge Arcana is listed as 1+3+5=10 total instead of 9 (or else that should have a second rank)
Total skill points should be (2 Class+2 Human+2 Favored Class+10 Int for 16 and currently you have 17 ranks chosen overall (unless I am missing something)
HPs seem wrong, you should have 6 from 1st and 4 from second +4 from con for 14 total
Also I believe your Wisdom bonus gets applied to your CMD (19 Total)

Kelkzar Redjaw |

1st Level
Max HP = 8 (hit die) + 2 (Con Bonus) + 3 (Toughness feat) = 13
2nd Level
Rolled HP = 7 + 2 (Con Bonus) = 9
Pretty sure the +7 comes from +4 Con and +3 Toughness
EDIT: BTW, my favored class bonus is going into the half-orc inquisitor bonus of +1/2 to Intimidate and Knowledge checks to identify creatures.

We're looking for two new characters for a Jade Regent game I'm in. Still very early in the adventure (only through one encounter area so far). If you're interested, see GM Will Cooper (RPG Superstar Top 16 this year) at the discussion thread:
Jade Regent Discussion Thread
Existing characters are a Varisian Cavalier (me) and an Ulfen Ranger.

I just had two PbP games end, but I'm toying with the idea of running an Iron Heroes PbP and I'd like to keep some time open if I decide to do that (especially since I haven't played IH yet, so the learning curve is going to be pretty steep at the beginning).

Kelkzar Redjaw |

Yeah, I've got a couple of the books, but have never run it or played. I know what you're going through thinking about it though. I picked up The One Ring recently and have been toying with that, but looks like I'm going to pick up a Freeport PbP once the current GM finishes running the adventure we're doing right now.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend. Wanted to pop into the Discussion threat and mention that the newest Open Design project has just been announced:
Midgard Tales
The work coming out of Open Design has been top-notch and one of the best parts of participating in the whole project is you get a chance to influence the design. At higher tiers of pledging, you also get a chance to get your own experience with game design. I've been a participant in the projects since Tales of the Old Margreve and just started getting my own design experience with Journeys to the West where I will have two monsters, one magic item, one NPC, and island, and an adventure in the final compilation.
Midgard Tales is pure adventures. Thirteen of them, set in Midgard, but undoubtedly many will be easily transferred to Golarion or the homebrew of your choice. The Kickstarter won't close until May 21, but some of the levels have limited backers, so if you're interested in writing an adventure, don't wait. I highly recommend it.
