Novennia swings but misses by some margin, having her feet bound to the floor is having a significant impact on her fighting prowess.

Male (3 out of 4 first level spells left) Human (Irrisien) Sorcerer (Fire)- 1/HP: 6/8, AC 11 (t 11, ff 10); F: +1, R: +1, W: +3; Perc +1//Init: +1

Krokod mutters in Ignan a few curses, loads and fires again at a tiefling

Crossbow to hit: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (9) + 3 = 12
If it hits: 1d8 ⇒ 6

HP 7/13, AC 12/11/10, hp 13, F 0+, R 2+, W 3+, Init 2+

Neb fires yet another crossbow bolt...

attack1d20 + 3 ⇒ (9) + 3 = 12

damage1d8 ⇒ 1

Both Krokod and Neb take aim with their crossbows but neither is able to connect with a foe.

Del will read that scroll of vanish, and nothing happens. He will have a look of panic, then a look of deep thinking (almost like he translated something incorrectly), a look of discovery, then he starts to read the scroll again.

UMD vs DC 21: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (7) + 7 = 14
Will re attempt next round unless something big happens.

About to bump when...

The wolves snap at Brand but neither are able to connect.

Yix up

Feel free to bump me if you think I've nodded off to sleep!

Liberty's Edge

Male Catfolk Bard (Street Performer) 3

Yix tries for another slash.

Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25
Damage: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6
Confirm: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11
Damage: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7

Yix slashes at one of the sorcerors and does sufficient damage that the tiefling looks barely able to stand - but they aren't dead yet!

The morningstar takes another swing at Neb, this time hitting him on the back with some force.

Brand up next

Neb takes 5hp of damage - that's 16hp so far

You've got one weakened sorceror, one fit sorceror, one morningstar and two wolves left in front of you

HP 7/13, AC 12/11/10, hp 13, F 0+, R 2+, W 3+, Init 2+

and neb falls unconscious...

-3 for the count...

stabilization check1d20 - 3 ⇒ (9) - 3 = 6

Whether or not Neb dies I think I may want to do some redesign on the next level up... Thinking either Master Summoner (for the versatility of it, sorry brand but you can't fight devils with fire...) or going the arcanist route if the GM doesn't mind the ACG classes.

Brand sees Neb stumble to the floor, the morningstar wielding tiefling standing over him, raising it for a death blow. Brand reacts, attempting to save his comrade, he releases the last of his magical energy in a stream of oil toward the morningstar.

Brand takes a 5 foot step to clear himself from the dogs, then casts a targeted grease on the morningstar, reflex save is DC 15

Brand - just to confirm you believe the Morningstar is a cast spell - Spiritual Weapon - and that Palaveen is the caster. He could be anywhere in the room. You may wish to change your action as a result.

Male (3 out of 4 first level spells left) Human (Irrisien) Sorcerer (Fire)- 1/HP: 6/8, AC 11 (t 11, ff 10); F: +1, R: +1, W: +3; Perc +1//Init: +1

Krokod sees Nebuchcanezzar fall. He sends out a single spark that seems to engulf the summoner, and while the man does not rise, his wounds seal with a hiss.

Casting Stabilize this round when he can, no more losing hitpoints for our summoner. I'll CLW later when I can but I think I've only got 2 1st level spells left

oops, I did miss that, thanks. I'll change my action to trying to daze one of the dogs then Will DC 14

Brand is able to affect one of the dogs with his spell. The sorcerors both cast spells - clearly non-offensive and the injured one certainly appears to have regained some colour in his cheeks.

Krokod and Novennia up - any order. BTW the tanglefoot automatically ceases to have an effect after three rounds i.e. this is the final round (in case I didn't make it clear before)

Male (3 out of 4 first level spells left) Human (Irrisien) Sorcerer (Fire)- 1/HP: 6/8, AC 11 (t 11, ff 10); F: +1, R: +1, W: +3; Perc +1//Init: +1

NP. THen stabilize is still my action

Thanks Krokod - don't know how I missed that!

Still trapped, but feeling the goo starting to weaken, Novennia takes another wild swing at the injured sorcerer.

Attack: 1d20 + 7 - 2 ⇒ (12) + 7 - 2 = 17
Damage: 2d6 + 6 ⇒ (2, 3) + 6 = 11

You explained that it would crumble after 3 rounds when I was hit with the thing. But thanks for the reminder! :-)

The rejuvinated sorcerer doesn't last one blow from Novennia and as she swings, the goo that was halding her had become so brittle that it broke with the force of her attack.

Brand new round...Delgata up first

Try and read from that scroll again.
Use Magic Device vs DC 21: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (12) + 7 = 19

Del plays with the scroll again, frustrated from another failure he throws it into his bag. He tries to peak into the room to figure out where he could move to in a moment.

Del is going to acrobatics into the room next round, he is just taking a second to see the layout.

Internet proper next Monday. Meanwhile, I'll try to keep things moving from my end

Delegate fails to read the scroll

The hounds snap at Brand and one is able to take a nip at his leg.

Yix up next then the sorcerer - and Brand takes 3hp of damage

Liberty's Edge

Male Catfolk Bard (Street Performer) 3

Slashy: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (18) + 5 = 23
Damage: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3

And then there was wifi! I have the Internet again – thanks so much for your patience…

Yix swings at one of the sorcerors and manages to connect, although the wound seems slight.

Meanwhile, the flaoting sword turns its attention to Brand but surprisingly misses him.

Brand next and then the sorceror, then Krokod and Novennia

Gentle bump...who's still with us?

Injured sorceror, Palaveen and two skeletal wolves

I'm still here. Combat is taking far too long.

OK...

Brand swings and misses and then the injured sorceror casts a spell - although its effect is unknown to you.

OK, Krokod and Novennia up - Novennia is now free of the gooey substance.

HP 7/13, AC 12/11/10, hp 13, F 0+, R 2+, W 3+, Init 2+

No you're not - Krokod cast stabilize on you, so you're not bleeding out. =)

Laughing aloud as the goo about her ankles finally cracks apart, Novennia takes a swing at the sorcerer, able to finally put her full force into the blow.

Slashy slashy!: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (16) + 7 = 23
Damage: 2d6 + 6 ⇒ (1, 3) + 6 = 10

HP 7/13, AC 12/11/10, hp 13, F 0+, R 2+, W 3+, Init 2+

Oh, thx

Novennia manages to silence the sorceror with a single blow, reducing the opposition to two skeletal dogs and the evasive Palaveen.

Krokod has until 4pm my time to post (6 hours) or I'll bot...we need to keep this moving

Male (3 out of 4 first level spells left) Human (Irrisien) Sorcerer (Fire)- 1/HP: 6/8, AC 11 (t 11, ff 10); F: +1, R: +1, W: +3; Perc +1//Init: +1

Crazy weekend, and I apologize. If I may still go...
Krokod will spin upon the remaining foes and release a fan of flames upon them hoping to finish this fight

Burning hands, Ref DC 15 for half 2d4 ⇒ (2, 3) = 5

Krokod is able to control his flames sufficiently to hit the bad guys and avoid the good guys.

Both wolves take the force of the fire and are clearly hurt by it. A spot a few feet to the left of the magical sword also yelps and simultaneously Palaveen rematerialises and the sword vanishes.

Brand new round: Delgata, wolves, Yix, Palaveen, everyone else (Krokod, Brand, Novennia in any order)

Gentle bump...

Acrobatics into the room, try for flanking, attack with mace for sneak attack damage.

acrobatics: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (2) + 8 = 10
attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 11
damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
SA damage: 1d6 ⇒ 1

Bucket of fail.

Delgata performs some clumsy acrobatics, slipping as he reaches the most difficult part. Recovering himself quickly, he swings wildly at one of the skeletons - and misses!

The two wolves snap at this new foe and one is able to take a small bite out of him.

Yix up next - and Delgata takes 4hp of damage

Liberty's Edge

Male Catfolk Bard (Street Performer) 3

This combat has dragged for so long that I am barely aware of what's going on anymore. But I believe I can safely assume there are wolves trying to kill us, so Yix will swing his sword at one of them!

Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 24
Damage: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5
Confirm: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8
Crit Damage: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8

Yix manages to clatter one of the wolves and makes a mess of quite a few of its bones. But it's not down yet.

Palaven casts a spell and from the words used, the magic users amongst you suggest it is some kind of healing spell.

Right, Krokod, Brand and Novennia up now - let's see if we can get some momentum

Male (3 out of 4 first level spells left) Human (Irrisien) Sorcerer (Fire)- 1/HP: 6/8, AC 11 (t 11, ff 10); F: +1, R: +1, W: +3; Perc +1//Init: +1

Krokod grows frustrated by the stubborn refusal of his foes to die, and takes a club to the nearest foe.

to hit: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 2 = 20
dmg: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

Female Human (Chelaxian) Cavalier (Standard Bearer) 3
Quick stats:
AC 19, T 13, FF 16; HP 21/28; F +4, R +3, W +1; CMD 20; Init +3; Perc +3; SM +3; Resolute 1

Seeing Palaveen visible again, Novennia charges him, not caring who still stands in her way.

Attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (11) + 7 = 18
Damage: 2d6 + 6 ⇒ (1, 2) + 6 = 9

Going to take the most direct route to Palaveen. If I can charge, I will. If I eat any attacks of opportunity, so be it; this has gone on forever.

Krokod hits one of the wolves - the injured one - and is able to kill it. Novennia, meanwhile, charges at Palaveen and is able to inflict quite a bit of damage in doing so.

Once Brand goes I will recap and we can go into the next round. Just two foes left - one skeletal wolf and Palaveen.

Brand fires a crossbow at Palaveen and hits him.

Palaveen takes 6hp of damage

OK - new round. Delgata, one remaining wolf, Yix, Palaveen, everyone else. Palaveen is injured, the skeletal wolf is not

AC 15, Fort +1, ref +6, Will +2 human Rogue 2 / wizard 1
Skills:

Try to get in flanking position. Not adding in the +2 in the event I cannot attacking with mace, prefer the spellcaster.
attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (20) + 4 = 24
damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6
SA damage: 1d6 ⇒ 2
Confirm the Crit : 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23
crit damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2

Delgata scores a hit on Palaveen - and he really caught him with that blow. The wolf snaps at Delgata but misses.

Yix up. I'll try to update over the week-end if I can

Krokod tries to crack the other skeletal wolf on the cranium with his club
To hit: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 2 = 11

Yix is able to get a blow in on Palaveen and the tiefling casts an unknown spell.

Krokod swings at the wolf but fails to connect.

Brand and Novennia to go - both foes are injured
