M kitsune rogue (pirate)/4; bard(sea singer)/2 AC18 (T 16, FF 12); HP 43/53; saves F +2, R +12, W +4; bab: 4; melee 4(+9), ranged +9; CMB 4, CMD 20; speed 30; init +5(+7); perc +9(11)(+13)

no problem - family first.

I've noticed some things. Firstly, Fawkes talks a lot. I'd like to apologize for that, if it seems he talks too much. It seems as though Torr just doesn't talk very much, so maybe they balance each other in that respect. Or maybe I'm just unintentionally dominating the conversation. I hope I'm not, and it seems so far (to me) that Torr's being a man of few words is intentional and characteristic, rather than being indicative of a stifled or bored player on Seijiro's part. Secondly, his moods change like crazy. I didn't really expect all this, and I'm pleasantly surprised by the amount of reaction I'm getting from the character with the small pushes that Torr's been providing.

Regardless of anything else, I'm enjoying this quite a lot, so thanks for indulging me! I feel like Torr's story-time will come up on its own pretty soon, but please please PLEASE let me know if you either of you have problems or concerns with how Fawkes behaves.

HP 13, AC 14 (T 12, FF 12), F+3, R+3, W+0, CMB 3, CMD 15, init +4, perc +4 human Barbarian(urban)/1

yes Torr is being reticent about his background a little. That is an in character thing, not because you are dominating things - he is intentionally trying to learn more about Fawkes while revealing little about himself... If Fawkes asks, he will of course speak up now and again, but it's just his nature not to toot his own horn so to speak, so I have no problems in or out of character with how much Fawkes talks.

For being a barbarian, Torr is pretty civilized, (hence the urban barbarian archetype) and he's very sensitive in his own way, so he's sensed things about Fawkes that he'd like to learn more about, hence all the questions -

I guess what I'm saying is have no problems or concerns at present.. Im having a really good time learning about your character, and at the same time, Torr is growing a bit as a character even though he says little.

I haven't foresaken you - but have merely allowed you to interact without my interference...

Male Half-Elf Bard (Street Performer)

That's fine. Honestly, it's refreshing to be allowed to move along naturally like this without waiting for the DM to initiate every single change of scene. It allows for awesome character introduction and interaction like this! Yay for character-driven scenes!

HP 13, AC 14 (T 12, FF 12), F+3, R+3, W+0, CMB 3, CMD 15, init +4, perc +4 human Barbarian(urban)/1

haha!!! Whiskey in the Jar is one of my favorite folk songs!!!

Male Half-Elf Bard (Street Performer)

Mine too. I tried to find a more folksy acoustic version; Metallica and Thin Lizzy would both be out of place. I've got some ideas for a couple other songs to drop in, but I'll try to keep it to a minimum for the most part.

HP 13, AC 14 (T 12, FF 12), F+3, R+3, W+0, CMB 3, CMD 15, init +4, perc +4 human Barbarian(urban)/1

So sorry - was in a RL pathfinder game for 10 hours today and have d&d tomorrow for about 8 hours... I will post as soon as I can... have to go to bed now, I'm beat.

I hope the pace is OK. I've allowed you to come and go as you please. Very little of what I had planned has happened yet - but I don't see that as a bad thing. If you ever want me to pick up speed, just let me know.

Male Half-Elf Bard (Street Performer)

So far the pace is working fine for me. I'm in a Legacy of Fire game in which the GM's pacing is rather terrible. The story moves along in the choppiest way and it's almost painful to watch. I like that you've allowed the action to be character-driven so far; all of a sudden it's looking like we'll be running an alchemist shop during the day and having all sorts of crazy adventures at night. It's practically a sit-com!

That said, I tend to be a bit over-indulgent in character interaction, and I'm fine with speeding up whenever you are.

My delay was due to not wishing to rush you into anything. For the next few days I will be leading the pace!

HP 13, AC 14 (T 12, FF 12), F+3, R+3, W+0, CMB 3, CMD 15, init +4, perc +4 human Barbarian(urban)/1

sorry - for some reason the thread has not been updating for me... i missed that there were posts.

HP 13, AC 14 (T 12, FF 12), F+3, R+3, W+0, CMB 3, CMD 15, init +4, perc +4 human Barbarian(urban)/1

I will be leaving on a retreat in a few minutes and may or may not have internet access until Sunday evening. If I don't, GM, please bot my character for me.

Thanks for the update and I'll let Fawkes lead the way...

Just to say I have no Internet at home - it's been intermittent for a few weeks and now it has given up altogether. They're not sure how long it will take to fix. So turns are limited to when I can get to a wifi site.

HP 13, AC 14 (T 12, FF 12), F+3, R+3, W+0, CMB 3, CMD 15, init +4, perc +4 human Barbarian(urban)/1

Oooh, that bites - I hate when that happens - well we'll just play at your pace then, no problems.:)

Internet has returned to my home...woohoo

HP 13, AC 14 (T 12, FF 12), F+3, R+3, W+0, CMB 3, CMD 15, init +4, perc +4 human Barbarian(urban)/1

yay!! and happy thanksgiving too!

Thanksgiving priorities apart, is there a reason for the lack of posts?

HP 13, AC 14 (T 12, FF 12), F+3, R+3, W+0, CMB 3, CMD 15, init +4, perc +4 human Barbarian(urban)/1

mostly family obligations here... i've been afk for 2 days and likely will be til monday as today is filled with obligations as well. sorry.

Male Half-Elf Bard (Street Performer)

Nope, just Thanksgiving. Travel, festivities, the like. Sorry for the delay, and it's good to see your internet's back.

No worries both - just checking...

Just in case I'm confusing you...a courtroom is not a courthouse. Logic dictates you are in one room of a larger building, not in a one-room building.

HP 13, AC 14 (T 12, FF 12), F+3, R+3, W+0, CMB 3, CMD 15, init +4, perc +4 human Barbarian(urban)/1

Sorry - I thought this was just a small one-room court building... so does that mean we can access other rooms without leaving the building? we don't want to piss off the ghost. lol

There are definitely more rooms to see. How many you can access easily you will have to find out for yourself ; p

Male Half-Elf Bard (Street Performer)

Finals are coming up, projects need to be worked on. Sorry for the delay. I'll try to get a decent post in tomorrow.

HP 13, AC 14 (T 12, FF 12), F+3, R+3, W+0, CMB 3, CMD 15, init +4, perc +4 human Barbarian(urban)/1

Just glad to see you're still with us... ewww.. finals.. I am SO glad I'm not in school any more... lol. I remember the stress and sleepless nights. My sympathies.

I'll move things forward tomorrow if we don't get any more posts...

Still here. Finals today and tomorrow. Sorry.

HP 13, AC 14 (T 12, FF 12), F+3, R+3, W+0, CMB 3, CMD 15, init +4, perc +4 human Barbarian(urban)/1

I'm still here too... waiting for the return of Fawkes :)

I'll wait a little more time rather than rush things through with only one of you...

We'll go at whatever pace suits until the festivities are over. I'll post as and when you need me though.

Male Half-Elf Bard (Street Performer)

Sounds good. Happy holidays, guys!

With Christmas and New Year over with, are we free to press on? You are both in the main hallway...

Male Half-Elf Bard (Street Performer)

Fine by me.
