PbP has been my only source of PFS for the past two years. I GM here occasionally, and have 3-5 active characters at this time.

I've been doing PbP for a little over six months, primarily PFS but a few campaigns as well. I'm currently GMing a PbP PFS module for the first time (Assault on the Kingdom of the Impossible). Incidentally, this will be my second character to gain a level by doing this scenario lol.

I have previous experience with D&D, but was out of gaming for years. Started PbP and Pathfinder/PFS all at the same time about a year ago, and am just finishing my first go at GMing. (GM Fuzzfoot)

As an aside, assuming we succeed in killing the Minotaur and saving Janira (without horrible hideous death), Faction Cards came out today, and one of my faction goals is to recruit sages and the like. It seems our Gillman Mystic may be such a person. The DC of such a check is 15+my level = 16.

Diplomacy: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (7) + 9 = 16 if we might go back the way we came to introduce Janira to the gillman.

What does a faction card do?

Faction Cards have a list of tasks that are deemed to be your faction goals. As you complete those goals for your faction, you receive faction boons (generally minor discounts on specific items, or bonuses to rolls).

They are available as a free download here.

I will try to do Chronicle Sheets tomorrow.

If you know how to fill them out, I'll just put the bare bones and you can do it yourself. If you don't know how to fill out a chronicle sheet, just let me know here what items you want to buy and sell and I can fill it out for you.

Thanks for the run, GM! This was a lot of fun. That last encounter was pretty rough (Acel contributed nothing to that fight, haha) but it was better it didn't charge, anyway.

Acel will buy 2 flasks of alchemical fire, 10 more arrows and a masterwork set of studded leather armor.

Additionally, Acel will lend Eleanor her spellbook to copy spells from. Acel will copy any of Eleanor's spells Magi can use.

...which is pretty much Hydraulic Push.

If we earned both PP, I will spend both PP on a wand of CLW. Assuming we earn at least 250g, I will spend 250g on a Wayfinder.

Finally, Eleanor will copy the following spells from Acel's spellbook, if you would please note and put on my Chronicle:

•Silent Image

•Mudball

•Vanish

Eleanor will likewise scribe the Mage Armor scroll into her spellbook, and share with Acel.

Edit: Also, if we are able to lead Janira back (I will post in the RP side as well) to the gillman, I will recruit his aid as above.

Final Edit: I will take 10 on all spellcraft checks. DC is 16. Taking 10 yields a result of 18. Scribing in the halls of the Pathfinder's Lodge should be peaceful and non-stressful enough to allow taking 10.

Don't forget the un-used scroll of Mage Armor. If I had not run out of time with the Shield wand, I would have used on myself. Not that it would have helped on the blow I took from the Minotaur, but none the less, I would have had I had the opportunity.

Hmm, I should also buy some scrolls...Acel has a +6 to Spellcraft. These are 25 gp each.

This was only my second time on this scenario and the final combat was much more challenging for us this time. Worried we could lose a couple once I saw Janira go down.

Yeah, that fight was pretty dicey. I've seen a confirmation battle where the minotaur doesn't get past the river. But Inira's our MVP for that fight - Acel's tiny legs weren't getting her into melee anytime soon.

Yes, sorry--only the first character who runs through gets the free Wayfinder. Others can buy it for 1 PP.

Inira's sheet appears to have your name and character maybe, instead of Inira's details. Could you check please? Maybe this is where you were applying GM credit?

If so, I am interested. I have my first game I am about to wrap up, and am not completely sure how to apply credit. I did figure out how to report online for everyone else, though.

To answer a couple of your questions/comments:

1) Eleanor, I don't think the faction job cards require GM Signatures or anything. You can just check the appropriate box yourself. If you hear differently let me know and I'll initial it.

2) Inira, regarding GM credit: your GM number is the same as your PFS number and there is a thing to fill out for the GM's character, so I put Zuriel in. Now, since he's currently in your game you're running, I believe I can apply the credit after your game (so your game would be Zuriel's chronicle 5, and then The Confirmation GM credit will be chronicle 6. Level 3!)

3) To those asking about my next game--I'd like to start one soon, but realistically I'll probably have to wait until closer to the end of the school year (I'm a HS teacher). Maybe I can run a few games simultaneously over the summer.

There needs to be a note that the DC 16 Diplomacy was made I am told. It can be on the chronicle or on the faction card, either or.

GM-- Yea I know what you mean about waiting until the end of the schoolyear. I'm graduating from college in a few weeks, just finished giving my senior project presentation today, and I'm trying to run a PbP session right now too. Probably should've held off on that last one until later haha. Lesson learned. But I may leave this guy open for the next time you run something, since it seems pretty much everyone is interested in sticking around.
