The pathfinders conflicted to attack the bird or not, watch some of their allies strike the bird with brute force, Bambang strikes the bird with great force leaving it critically wounded, while Sithiss the snake finishes the job by snapping on to the already badly injured wounds, causing the vulture to squeal it's last squeal and fall to it's end.

Combat is Over! Thing had high AC but low HP. You may now choose one of the rooms to explore! Let me know which room the party ventures into.

Talon watches stoically as the undead bird is shaftered and falls into the water. He waits carefully to make sure it doesn't rise again, then nods to Bambang for his efficient, powerful work on the creature.

He pulls a wand from his gear, activating it to slowly heal his wounds. (One charge from Wand of Infernal Healing for full HP.) He holds it up for anyone else's use before putting it away. (Claim a charge from my wand if you need it, everybody.)

As he further investigates the light in the water, he thinks aloud. "The scraps we find seem to reflect the creatures and situations we encounter. Let's see if we can find more scraps. Maybe they will give us an idea of what else we can expect."

Are there more scroll scraps to find in this area? And does closer inspection give us more details about the light under the water?

If you wish to find more stuff in this area, make a perception check, I've put up the perception results below! The light died when the worm engaged you, It was created by the worm. To the left it is! Going to start with B5 since it's closest to you

Perception/Appraise DC20:
Among the junk floating in the water of the immediate area, you note three scrolls that looks somewhat unique and rare, however none of these are matching to parchments of The Name of The Fox.

The Pathfinders make their way through the water towards the Taxidermy Storage. On the door, a scroll fragment is pinned, it looks similar to that of the fragments you've collected. A quick nudge on the door informs the opener that there's a force keeping it closed, but the door is unlocked.

Dax begins shaping water, starting a flow away from the door. Currents begin to draw the water away from the door so that water does not rush into the taxidermy room when opened. Water could potentially damage the contents of such a room more than other rooms, so it would be wise to keep it from flooding in.

Sorry about the lack of Perception; I posted in a hurry.

Talon watches the team work efficiently together, then nods at Bambang’s observations about what they’re likely to encounter next.

Does Talon know anything about this Lady Gorger? He’s got a +6 in Arcana, Dungeoneering, Local, Nature, Planes, and Religion; and a +7 in History. I’ll make one roll.

Liberty's Edge

Mosquito Witch Handouts

Lady Gormandelle is a another magical creature from the story, so words alone won't help you understand what it is, but when you enter the room you'll be able to keep your roll to see what the creatures are. Dax, it's like you were really built for this scenario!

Sithiss is too large to fit through the walkways it seems, but if he reduces in size, we'll assume he's at a closer spot to the room when combat starts.

Selter's portable ram, with Talon's help of course, finds itself useful as it pushes the door open with ease. Dax stands by ready to intercept a rush of water into the room, however, to much of her and everyone else's surprise, water rushes out of the room wetting everyone in front of the door, and the water levels in the room start to drop drastically. This room in particular is treated like a shallow bog, 10ft move per square, unlike the other rooms that are treated as deep bog, it logically doesn't make sense, but it is this way for combat purposes.

A waterfall drops from a grate in the ceiling fifteen feet above, creating a curtain in the doorway to this flooded room. The source of the flooding, the same drain that Hanzo was cleaning up.

Beyond, mounted animal heads glower from virtually every inch of every wall. Stuffed specimens also lurk beneath the dark water, their antlers, horns, and claws breaking the surface here and there. In the eastern corner, a large gilded cage sits mostly submerged, its waters thick with embalmed birds bobbing at the surface.

In the room lie three fey looking creatures, one small green amphibian, who you can assume to be Lady Gormandelle, accompanied by two winged pixie like creatures holding pliers with tooth in them! The pliers are normal in size but looked oversized while they carry it. As the doors open, the "daughters" look at the party with a wide evil looking grin.

knowledge DC15:
Lady Gormandelle is a nixie, an aquatic like creature who can swim and breath underwater pretty well. Also known to be resistant to cold iron and spells.

Her "daughters" are tooth fairies, known to be quick on their feet, and can cast some nuisances spell like abilities like sleep or paralysis, even becoming invisible. Known only for minor resistivity to cold iron And sometimes explode.

Perception DC18:
One of the stuffed meadowlarks floating in the cage is actually a highly realistic feather token (bird). Additionally, one of the horns of the mounted gorgon's head does not match the other.

Perception DC20:
In the corner of the room in the large cage, you note semi submersed a unconscious Virml! And he looks like he doesn't have any teeth left.

Quick clarification, DM. Do they have DR against cold iron? Or is cold iron what bypasses it? "DR5\cold iron" means a creature is resistant to physical damage unless its dealt by cold iron. Just trying to make sure the team is well-informed.

No problem. It's a big rules system with tons of details. Nobody gets it all right. :)

Talon points at one creature, shouting out information about their foes. "She's a Gormandelle. A nixie. Water creature. Hit her with cold iron, but she'll resist magic." Then he points at the other two, "Tooth fairies. They're quick, can put you to Sleep or Paralysis, can turn invisible, and will explode when killed. Use cold iron on them."

He takes a quick breath, then struggles through the water to hack down on the nearest tooth fairy.

Dax, likely having done the healing (give him the burn, but heal him), restates what it is believed the man said. "He found you and cast a spell on you, you don't know what he's up to, but he trapped you here?" It is rather disconcerting, because Dax was under the impression Virml had not come down here, but had been elsewhere. Which would tend to fit the bill, given that Virml said someone had cast a spell on him. But whom?

Talon nods along, both at Bambang's deduction and then Dax's translation. "This is getting strange."

He seems ready to move out when the team is finished with their interview.

Virml nods at Dax, indicating that she hit it right in the spot in understanding his broken speech.

Need you guys to let me know where you go after this since you found Virml.

Talon makes a circular direction, "Should we use sweep the place clock-wise?"

As the party scours the rest of the place, Bambang keeps his eyes open for a copy of the Darklands Precepts.

Gonna go with Talon's idea of clock-wise. That makes B5->B2

You walk into what room is known to be a Cartographium, a place where maps, and charts are kept. The water is deep and a lot of items damaged from the flood. The water’s surface is carpeted with maps made of silk, vellum, birch bark, and sundry other materials.

Perception or kn.Geography DC15:
In the room, you notice two unusual items floating along the water's surface. A silk map that portrays Tian Xia mashed into the side of Avistan to create a strange supercontinent, and one of a strange looking bookmark.
