His scars are beyond mundane or magical healing. He needs counselling, like 9000 more years of it. He speaks clearly in reply to you, but his answers do not necessarily make sense to the questions you ask.

With regards to 9000 years.. He replies, “Always, we’ve always been here. The horselord Telendrak came to the Cairn of Shadows in the time of darkness, and before true darkness descended on the land called Nidal. That’s what the last Telendrak said.”

With regards to seeing other people... “Others came. They went to see the Lord Above. We could hear the screams, as the Lord gave them the gift of anguish. And there was such blood, cool drops that rained down upon us…”

He thinks very hard about what Varian ask, but he looks as perplexed as you. And doesn't know how to answer him.

He readies himself for a fight by casting 'blessing of fervor' on the party: read the spoiler for what benefit you get

blessing of fervor:

With this blessing, you call your allies to move forth and empower them to conquer and become victorious. Each round for the duration of this spell, each of your allies can choose one of the following bonuses for that round at the beginning of its turn (their choice).

--- Increase its speed by 30 feet.
--- Stand up as a swift action without provoking an attack of opportunity.
--- Make one extra attack as part of a full attack action, using its highest base attack bonus.
--- Gain a +2 bonus on attack rolls and a +2 dodge bonus to AC and Reflex saves.
--- Cast a single spell of 2nd level or lower as if it were an enlarged, extended, silent, or still spell.

These effects are not cumulative with similar effects, such as those provided by haste or a speed weapon, nor do they actually grant an extra action, so you can’t use it to cast a second spell or otherwise take an extra action in the round. Blessing of fervor does not stack with haste.

So we are climbing up through what would normally be the walls of any other map, which are in fact empty possibly endless bits of darkness, and the hallway is the only real bit available to stand on? Do the cloudy bits still count as walls for seeing through, cover, and targeting? Can you leap through the edges of corridors. In other words are the hard corners actually 'hard' for purposes of movement, or could a person who knew where the perpendicular hallway was, leap through a corner?

"Can any of them fly?!"

Sorry, you said Q1 and my mind just went somewhere else. Now that I look at again, and consider how 15d6 worth of falling damage, or worse yet, falling forever might not be fair for 8th level characters, and how they have a sort of 15-foot slot in the floor to the far east of the map, and depth shadows along the walls it looks like it might be that that is our entrance and the cloudy stuff is some sort of barrier.

Varian creates a cold iron, magical lucerne hammer using his revelation... though he assumes it will not be necessary by the time he has a chance to use it.

Brock will ride his Treant, shouting what amounts to random gibberish in Elvish to direct it towards attack the night hag after moving them both in range. It was quite a spectacle of lights that struck the party, but he's pretty sure it was the hag that took shots at him and he now wishes to return the favor.

"Our bark is worse than our bite!" He tries out the line as he brings his great sword to bare, then frowns when he realizes how dumb it is.

Drawing his sword as a move and attack as a standard, can't fail a ride check to stay on the treant as it climbs over to the Hag. Taking +2's for BoF. Free action to activate animal focus for +2 strength.

+1 Adamantine Great Sword(Power Attack, AF, Pack Outflank, BoF): 1d20 + 11 - 2 + 1 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 11 - 2 + 1 + 4 + 2 = 34
Damage(Power Attack, AF, Flank): 3d6 + 15 ⇒ (6, 3, 1) + 15 = 25

Misha swings from the chains like a monkey would from herself and easily gets within range of both the Hag and Shae with her mighty reach. Once Brock is in position she'll take a free branch and slam it up at the side of the Hag, working to avoid smashing it into any allies.

The space is tight above, but Misha's noticeably narrow frame looks like it will be able to adjust.

Move action to climb over, standard to slam the hag. Free action to take BoF for the +2 bonuses

Magical Slam(Power Attack, GMF, AF, Pack Outflank, BoF): 1d20 + 13 - 2 + 1 + 1 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 13 - 2 + 1 + 1 + 4 + 2 = 21
Slamage(Power Attack, GMF, AF): 1d8 + 1d6 + 15 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (8) + (1) + 15 + 1 + 1 = 26
AoMF Acid Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 4

Brock with great strength comes down with a clean strike on the hag, however Misha finds narrow space difficult move in and the hag avoids being striked by the branch.

With little room to maneuver Shonne moves into the oddly tenebrious hallway and throws a bolt of kinetic energy at the remaining shae attacker.

20% miss chance: 1d100 ⇒ 30

telekinetic fist v shae (range touch, cover, blessing): 1d20 + 7 - 4 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 7 - 4 + 2 = 14 bludgeoning damage: 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3

Zac and Shonne's attacks come light handed against the creatures. The witch in Brock's face, retaliates at him with scratching and biting.

bite: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (19) + 13 = 32
claw: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (17) + 13 = 30
claw: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (9) + 13 = 22

dmg: 2d6 + 1d4 + 10 ⇒ (3, 5) + (3) + 10 = 21DC20 fort save. Or demon fever!

Angel is also large, so I am assuming she was climbing up behind with me also.

Blessing of Fervor: Will take the +2 to attack rolls, Reflex saves, and AC for this turn. Angel will do the same.

Free Action
Ralph directs Angel to climb up higher. "You can do it, girl." Angel's move actions.
Angel's Climb Check: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (7) + 10 = 17
As there's not a place to stand yet, Angel hangs onto the chains while Ralph. Ralph can't fail the DC 5 Ride check to do actions while in combat.

Free Action
Ride Check to Fast Dismount vs. DC 20: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 5 = 22
Ralph takes the opportunity to jump off of Angel, and he does so with ease.

Standard Action
Ralph takes time to cast the spell Prayer. "They ain't got a prayer."

He loads his pistol with a Cold Iron Bullet. "Lock and load er' up."

PRAYER IS UP. +1 luck bonus to the following: attack rolls, weapon damage rolls, saves, and skill checks. (Enemies get -1 to all of those)

Ralph says a little prayer you~ But The Shae stuck in the corner uses her sword against Brock as well. However, clearly the prayer worked as the sword swings at a nearby chain instead.
