I got updated. Buying the cloak of resistance +1 for 1000 gp.

Xavian will also purchase a Cloak of Resistance +1 and prepare for the next journey.

Level up, and Inira would like to upgrade her bow to +1 and Adaptive (3000 gp), get a headband of inspired wisdom +2 (4000) and replenish arrows (2 gp).

Glorin is leveling and saving his funds, but he spends 2 PP for a Snapleaf.

I finalized a nice report to the Pathfinder Society, and purchased the following:

• wand of read magic (50) for 375 gp
  
• +1 amulet of mighty fists for 4,000 gp
  
• scroll of see invisibility (5) for 2 PP

Wisdom: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (16) + 1 = 17

purchasing a potion of cure moderate wounds for 300gp

I'm going to be out of the country on business next week. I'll have internet connectivity, but I don't know what my schedule will be like. Bot me as necessary.

The message does not have to travel in a straight line. It can circumvent a barrier if there is an open path between you and the subject, and the path's entire length lies within the spell's range.

I've always interpreted that as message requires line of effect, but not line of sight.

Poor use of terminology, maybe line of sight wasn't the right word. But you still need to be able to see and point to the person, that right?

To cast the spell, yes. Once it is active, no. Let's say you cast message while I am standing next to you, then I walk to the other side of a 20 ft. high hill. The spell will actually travel around or over the hill to reach me, as long as the distance traveled is within range.

@GM: How would you rule the effects of glitterdust in the mist? The way I've run it in the past is it reduces concealment by 1 step:

• No concealment vs. adjacent creatures.
  
• Concealment vs. creatures 10 ft. away.
  
• Total concealment vs. creature 15 ft. away or more.

I've not come across this before and it has sparked my interest. I was leaning closer to something like you mentioned, however with a little help from google I stumbled across this thread.

According to the Jason Bulmanh, Glitterdust has no effect on concealment. As such, I'd have to rule it the way it was intended by Jason.

At least he acknowledges that it's illogical!

We are at end scenario, anyone not get the free rpg day chronicle? You've qualified for it but it does have a limit of one per person.

I haven't gotten one yet.

I don't even know what "the free RPG day chronicle" is.

It allows you to replay any free rpg day scenario for player or GM credit. (i.e. goblins, master of fallen fotress..).

I apologize for not posting lately. I have heat exhaustion, and it's a lot more draining in real life than in Pathfinder. I don't even have the mental energy to watch a movie without taking a nap.

The good news is that two days of rest and lots of water is all its supposed to take to recover, so I'll hopefully be back on Tuesday.

Free RPG day boon

I will have limited computer/internet access from July 8 - 20, so please feel free to bot my character during this time. I will try to check in as I can, but posting will be sporadic and probably very short.

Giving everyone a heads up, I have a hard deadline to finish this game before next month as I'll be going on vacation. I don't think it'll be a problem, but I may push us where needed to meet the deadline.

So... at our current pace, I think we may be at a problem! I'll put out some options and let the group decide which you think is best for you.

1. I can push us to meet deadline, but that will take away a meaningful game experience. Likely making assumptions and only be combat orientated game.

2. We can continue as is, but take a two week break during first two weeks of August. After that, resume game as normal! (FYI, unless we're really slowballing it, we should meet the next PBP special.)

3. Continue as is until August, and get help from another flaxseed GM to continue the game to closure!

I'm happy with whichever way the group decides, and won't hold it against you whatever decision you make!

Rushing is the only thing I'd specifically like to avoid. If you're going on vacation in August, I'm perfectly happy taking a break for that time.

Yeah if we can still finish before Gameday starts then I vote for taking a break.

Doesn't matter to me so whatever works for the rest of you is fine.

I'm ok with option 1 or 2 (prefer option 1 though). However, will try to speed things up from my end.

Work has swamped me this week, and next week I'm traveling on business (but will still check in as I can). Please bot me as necessary, and I'll go along with whatever people choose.

I want to apologize for my recent (and possibly continued) absence. I'm feeling very burned out right now, and am not sure how much I will be able to reliably handle. Please do not hesitate to bot me, and if necessary, to replace me.

I will do my best, but don't be surprised if my posting is sporadic and low quality for the near future. But above all, do what it takes to make sure that all of you keep having fun.

We'll be taking the 2 week ish break from here! I've actually slowed the pace so that when we return we will start the last part (part C) of the scenario. Feel free to keep posting for in character discussions and preparations as needed. I will check the campaigns during my time off with my mobile, but I just won't be able to do any major updates. So part C will strictly start when im able to access a computer.

Haven't forgotten about you guys, just having trouble finding a computer while on vacation, I'll be home in a bit over 48 hours, so do expect an update before the weekend.

Do you still expect to finish before Gameday starts? We only have 6 more days. That's definitely doable if we are close to the end already of course.

It's not impossible.. I can push us to definitely finish it, this part is pretty much the end of the scenario.

We're one to two rounds away from end of combat with this consistency. After combat I'll immediately post the chronicles and conclude the scenario so you can rush off your characters to gameday.
