Gray Son |
The monk attacks the gobo with wings again with his tonfa
1d20 + 4 ⇒ (9) + 4 = 13
1d20 + 4 ⇒ (12) + 4 = 16
1d6 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
Looks like the only one that might hit is the 2nd attack
GM Batpony |
goblin, reflex: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (12) + 4 = 16
fleshdreg, reflex: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 1 = 20
Frostwind drops another bomb, but the creatures have learnt how the bomb works and manages to dodge most of the blast. Mercutio and Grayson swoops in to take advantage of the blast to eliminate the last two standing enemies. Mercutio stabs into the goblin while Grayson knocks off the last fleshdreg.
Combat is over! Similarly we're also at the end of the scenario, let me know if you want to do anything additional, else i'll conclude us in the next update.
Thaia Rossenvelt |
"I felt a great disturbance in the force. I think given time I might be able to monetize it."
Mercutio Menschjaeger |
Mercutio holds his hand against the side of his head.
"Whoah! Good luck monetizing that - not that it isn't interesting, but whatever it is, I doubt it would be terribly predisposed to cooperate."
GM Batpony |
The disturbance of the wrathful magical presences in the ruins piques Thaia's interest for monetary gains, but worries the rest of the group as they are unclear what to make of it. However everyone is at this time almost certain that the magic was somehow tied to the goblins who invaded this place.
You immediately, under Slade's influence, head back towards the entrance. Somehow the journey back is eerily quiet. Julian is waiting there, but surprisingly with the magic barrier taken down. He explains, "The magical presences that ceased my permanent barrier, it is unfocused! I can take the opportunity to shut it down now. What did you do? Just a moment ago a few goblins ran out of here!"
Regardless of your explanation, he immediately starts his chant to permanently seal the magic off. (And will likely be impressed with whatever you tell him, possibly a commendation to the Society for your great works!)
This pretty much concludes the game! The secondary success condition is pretty obscure so good thing you spent 10 mins studying the books in A6!
Jadger Josser |
"We killed a few fine goblin singers and retreived as many precious lore as we can. My companions of course were instrumental in releasing the bindings of that magic, so now I'd assume that it's free for you to do so now." Jadger begins.
Perform (Oratory), for impressive story telling. 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (17) + 8 = 25
