Kintampo listens to Benson as he unfolds his plan and nods, agreeing to the points he makes.

"I will join you at Otto's farm Raevin."

Deepmarket handouts Deepmarket maps

Just to make sure, we have Raevin and Kintampo at Otto's, Benson and Mivvy heading to the Beer Garden, correct? So I only need Wyeth and Marduk's next location, if any.

So Wyeth and Marduk to the General Store, got it! I do remember that being mentioned. I'll update during lunch :)

On his way out of the Inn, Benson will ask the Inn keeper if there is someone in town who can sell him some holy water and perhaps do some magical healing (he touches his jaw and says, "I'm developing a toothache"). He also asks where he might find an armorer who could repair some minor damage to his armor and perhaps sell him a locally made weapon.

I'm hoping we can locate the local cleric, if there is one, and also maybe the local weapons expert. It also doesn't hurt to build the expectation that we intend to spend good money in town.

Deepmarket handouts Deepmarket maps

@Benson: The gnome answers your inquiry quickly before serving another table: "Orug's got the only real shop in town, so you'd have to ask him. Might be someone around the Tent City with some kinda concoctions, though. As far as healin'... Lady Erika is actually the best person for that kinda thing. We got an herbalist who'll make potions, but the power of Iomedae does flow through the inquisitor.

Deepmarket handouts Deepmarket maps

@Wyeth and Marduk: The adventuring pair hobble over across the street, where several locals are gathered around the General Store. A half-orc, about 5'10 and balding, is chatting with one customer while a half-elf, still quite young looking, is organizing a shelf behind a counter piled with various goods and staples.

"Howdy to ya, give me just a min-", is what the half-orc says before finally paying attention to you newcomers. "Well I'll be danged if it ain't another half-orc here! And not a crusader, too!", judging Marduk by the lack of armor about him. He immediately leaves his customer and moves over to you. "Orug's the name! And welcome to my shop! What're you lookin' fer today?"

Deepmarket handouts Deepmarket maps

@Benson & Mivvy: The beer garden is filled with a number of men and women enjoying a late lunch brew. Wall of beer barrels and crates seclude this area from the tent city, and most of the makeshift tables are already crowded with those telling tales, bawdy jokes, or exchanging gossip around the area.

No one seems to pay you any much mind right now as you make your entrance. Looking around, it appears easy to mingle, although the familiar sounds of a drinking contest in the corner may provide another way to get into some of the commoner's good graces. Finally, a band playing regional polka music makes sure that any words spoken must be loud, although several stray instruments are available as well as room for a dance square in the dirt.

Deepmarket handouts Deepmarket maps

@Raevin & Kintampo: The directions to Otto's farm are easy enough, although it is a 5 mile trek away from the main part of town. While there appears to be about 10 acres of fields, they are currently unplanted. A large farmhouse at the center Is partially hidden along the west side by a line of trees forming a windbreak.

You're within 50 yards of the house when a powerfully built man in his late thirties exits the home... and then begins yelling at you. "Hey, you! Stop trespassin' on my property an' git out!"

He then begins whirling a sling.

"It warms my humble heart to see half-kin that are not being oppressed as much. This is my friend Wyeth, we were on our way and heard of the festival and decided we should take some time to have a look, so far is hasn't disappointed.

What we are looking for wasn't anything specific, do you have a food or drink, a memoria perhaps that is typical for this town?"

Deepmarket handouts Deepmarket maps
