Alrighty. I thought the "one ping only" was specifically tied to the earlier time slot which, as I mentioned, we intentionally skipped. Well before the invisible creature was pointed out, she was already on edge with you guys (to the point of drawing a sword at Marduk as he just approached; twice well really). A high pitched voice calls out from the window on the other side of Marduk.

This last sentence confused me because there is only one window in the room. So I'm not sure where the high pitched voice is. Also not sure what Ekira's comment implies. The thing was moving toward the window near Wyeth and Benson. And Benson hit it so it must be above him or Wyeth or above Ekira or the guy. So did Ekira mean it moved to the other side of Wyeth, toward Kintampo?

I've been assuming the high pitched voice was coming from the invisible thing we're trying to hit. Is the voice somewhere different from the invisible thing?

And I think all the ways in and out are closed off, both doors and windows closed. Is that true?

Sorry, but with invisible things, it's easy to misunderstand, since instructions have to be vague.

In a nutshell, where would it be reasonable to think the thing is based on what Ekira said and the direction of the high pitched voice?

Deepmarket handouts Deepmarket maps

@Benson: At Marduk's initial blow, it was flying overhead of Ekira. After that, it was overhead of the guy. After that, the man went down and it moved towards the windows in the central room. Both of the windows were closed by Wyeth, Raevin closed the door behind him, and Marduk declared that he was going to block the windows and took total defense; however, since he couldn't reach the windows, I left him in his current position blocking the only open doorway. That same round, you and Kintampo tried to attack the creature; for argument's sake, it was in the same square flying overhead of Wyeth. And while you struck it, the creature did not falter.

The creature then managed to bypass Marduk and moved to just outside the window and taunted the party. I marked on the map the location Marduk heard the voice (again, since he properly identified the spot, I could mark it now and should have when he did, so my apologies there.

So yes, between what Ekira said and Marduk's guidance, you have a good idea where the creature is.
