Levelle, Draconic:

The cap reads "Idiot Child"

GM Screen:

1d20 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 4 = 19

The old wizard's nigh colorless eyes immediately hone on Arkadi when he speaks, the slit in his wrinkled face where his mouth should be hardening. "If you are in need of wisdom, dhamphir, you should address yourself to the temple, where the authority sits," he says in flat, featureless tone very much like the one he was using to lecture previously. "I am a wizard, and as you can see," he gestures to the children behind him, "not one blessed with those particular talents if I remain in this town. These are my pupils at my advanced age," his voice begins showing some color at this argument, as though it is one he has thought of several hundreds of thousands of times before.

He studies the group for a time, giving the impression of calculation, then tilts his head slightly. "Ten gold," he says finally and casts a spell and the door opens behind him.

Spellcraft DC 15:

Mage Hand

"That is, ten gold to access my library. Per person please. No negotiation."

(Female Elven (Kyonin) Wizard 1 (Evoker) (Necro/Transmutation Forbidden))

Spellcraft Take 10 = 19

Levelle turns to the group. Perhaps only I should go and look over his materials? Maybe one other? I don't see the reason to pay such a..."fee"...for all of us?

"I see... Well I'd like to join you Levelle, but that price is a bit beyond my ability to pay at the moment... I'll wait out here for you to finish.

(Female Elven (Kyonin) Wizard 1 (Evoker) (Necro/Transmutation Forbidden))

Levelle waves dismissively at the half-orc, Not a problem. Levelle look on at Uriah and Arkadi, Shall the cleric and I step in and review this gentleman's materials while you keep a watchful eye out here?

"Alright then. I-I'll pay you back..." Sandman groans weakly.
