It looks like you're all letting Exiel make the call, so into the building we go.

As the two new tanks slowly approach from the North and South and the men from the trenches approach, Exiel casts his spell again, and once more you are pulled through dimensional space.

When your dimensional travel ends, you think for a moment that Exiel must have screwed up his spell, for your surroundings look like a scene straight from hell. It is only the biting cold that reassures you that you are indeed still at wherever the Dancing Hut brought you. But every wall in this long building is splattered with gore, and eviscerated bodies are strung up with barbed wire, their flayed flesh stretched taut to expose raw muscle and their disemboweled entrails draped like limp clotheslines over the high rafters of this horrific chamber. Some of the bodies still twitch in agonized spasms, and the occasional piteous moan issues forth, though it is hard to tell from which of the many mangled bodies the sounds are coming from.

Amidst the gore, stands an equally horrifying creature. Its body is composed of foreign limbs, gnarled branches, and coiled barbed wire - a patchwork quilt of hideously flayed flesh and tangled nerves. At the core of this multi-limbed monstrosity of claws and blades struggles a glistening mass of veins, organs, and twisted flesh.

It looks at you in surprise, then a hideous grin spreads across its face.

Exiel's lance plunges deep into the kyton, though not as deep as it should have. Nonetheless it is more than enough to draw the Kyton's attention. It opens its mouth in a wordless scream and reaches for the paladin's face with its cruel blood-soaked claws.

Mike, I am not so good with kineticist rules. First time GMing a kineticist.

Base damage for 15th level composite blast is 16d6+16. +10 CON. +10 elemental overflow. +1 PBS. Where is the other +16 from?

Willingly starting with 9 burn is an interesting tactic.

We are now waiting for 42.

The void blast is a composite physical blast, so it gets 2d6+2 plus con mod at first level and 2d6+2 at every odd level thereafter, which is 16d6+32 plus my con mod of 10, or 16d6+42. Add in the 10 I get from elemental overflow, and that brings me up to 16d6+52. Add one for point blank shot, and that takes me to 53.

Ya, most people who understand how kineticists play will end up starting the day with some burn to power their defensive talent, if nothing else. I will admit that I take more burn than most, but I like being an immediate action away from being immune to crits. It also has the other benefit of making me really hard to kill, since I have a crapton of non-lethal, I won't die for a while, even if I go to 0.

Grand Lodge

I think you miscalculated the base. Your base will always be Xd6+X, not Xd6+2X.
So 2d6+2 at first level plus 2d6+2 every odd level adds up to 16d6+16 at level 15, not 16d6+32. But that is still alot of damage per round. Sir Kyton does not approve.

Mike is staggered for 1 round. Description notwithstanding, it is not an emotion effect.

Since 42 is the first in the order after the kyton, he unfortunately bleeds out before anyone else has time to save him. He dies at -17hp, but a breath of life will still bring him back.

Exiel looks at Rhon in slight confusion, then thinks back to what 42 had said.

"Ah, regeneration. I see. Hmm...I can't finish it off, but I know someone who can. Lauriel?"

As he says this, he extends a hand towards the kyton, and Lauriel once more appears.

"Kyton right below you, Lauriel. Would you be so kind?"

Exiel will take a 5ft step nearer to the kyton, spend a move action calling forth Lauriel, then ready an action to call Lauriel back once her task is done. Lauriel will take a full round action to coup de grace the kyton. I believe you can do so with an unarmed strike.

Some monsters are vulnerable to good-, evil-, chaotic-, or lawful-aligned weapons, such as from an align weapon spell or the holy magical weapon property. A creature with an alignment subtype (chaotic, evil, good, or lawful) can overcome this type of damage reduction with its natural weapons and weapons it wields as if the weapons or natural weapons had an alignment (or alignments) that matched the subtype(s) of the creature.

If that doesn't work, in the following rounds Exiel will keep delivering coup de graces whilst Lauriel breathes fire and then ice on the kyton.

You search around and find a set of 5 bandages of recovery and a bloodletting kukri, as identified by 42.

While searching, you hear a shuffling noise within a small closet. Opening to investigate, you find two teenage children—a sickly boy and a petite young woman—huddled together in fear. They are dirty, malnourished, and appear to be on the precipice of shock. The girl appears to be in her late teens, with shoulder-length brown hair, wearing a lacy white dress that is now ragged and ruined. The boy is in his early teens, but is sickly and pale, and is dressed in the tattered rags of a child-sized military uniform.

Upon seeing you, the boy gathers his wits, jumps out of the closet and stands protectively in front the girl, speaking in a strange foreign tongue. Luckily, Exiel's useful familiar is able to translate.

"He says they are Tsesarevich Alexei Romanov and his sister Grand Duchess Anastasia Romanov. He demands to know who we are and what we want with them."

Unless you have magical means or somehow speak Russian, you will need to speak to the children through Lauriel, if you choose to speak with them at all.

The girl identified as Anastasia looks at the pretty little winged girl with fascination, but it is the boy who replies first when Lauriel does the translations.

"Of course! We are Romanovs! Despite what those filthy rebels did, we are still of royal blood! Though our family was murdered, a loyal servant managed to save us. But while we were fleeing, we were captured and when we awoke, we were here. We were in another building at first, but when we tried to escape we were forced to hide in this building. And when that thing came in, we had to hide in the closet."

The girl nods and finally speaks. "Thank you for your rescue, brave ones. My memory after the... men lined us up... to shoot us... my memory before I woke up here is cloudy, but my brother's account of what happened after we woke up here is accurate."

Though she attempts to maintain a regal bearing, she seems woozy on her feet.

"Tell me miss, your wings, are they real? Are you an angel? Did Rasputin send you?"

The Exchange

Looks like I missed some stuff. And oh my! Of course Anastasia would think Rasputin was a holy man... Not that we would know that. XD

Lauriel gives Exiel a confused look as she gives the rest of the party the translation.

"These wings are indeed real, and you may touch them if you wish. But what do you mean, "did Rasputin send us"? Rasputin is the master of this place! He is involved in a plan that threatens our world and we are here to try to find him and stop him. All the horrors you've seen in this place are his doing!"

"You appear a little unwell, child. My friend here is going to examine you to make sure everything is ok. Please just stay where you are and don't panic."

Concerned by this recent turn of events, Lauriel looks to Exiel, who casts a detect magic spell over the children to see if they are currently affected by magic.

Anastasia looks confused.

"Father Grigori is a good and holy man! How could he be responsible for this. But Olga used to say..."

But the boy Alexei quickly interrupts her with a wave of his hand.

"Do not listen to them, Anastasia! This is a trick of some kind. Look! That man is practicing sorcery! They are evil men! Back, you devils!"

Exiel and Lauriel:
Exiel, you do detect magic from the direction of the children. Lauriel with her constant detect evil senses that there is evil coming from the children. Because she has been talking to them, she had time to get more information. The aura is from Alexei and it is a moderate evil aura.

Exiel lets his spell drop.

"It's ok, Mike. The children have seen some true horrors here, and their wariness is warranted. Lauriel, tell Anastasia that I was not using sorcery, but invoking a holy blessing through prayer. Why should a man who travels with angels, and indeed who has angelic blood within himself, not be able to channel the blessings of the divine?"
Actually true. My detect magic is an orison from my oracle level, not a sorcerer spell.

"You mentioned Olga. Who is Olga?"

Lauriel translates, but also backs away from the children with her hands open to show she means no harm.

GM:
Moderate... That can't be good. Just to be clear, this is from Alexei specifically, not just something on his person?
How far am I from Anastasia?

The rest of the spoiler only happens if Exiel can get into Anastasia's square with a move action, and Lauriel confirms that the evil aura is from Alexei himself.

When Lauriel gets next to Exiel, she sends an empathic alarm to him whilst fixing her gaze on Alexei.

"Alexei? Alexei. It is Alexei isn't it? Tell me, Alexei, why do you think we are trying to trick your sister? Alexei, Alexei, we just killed a horrible evil creature that had you trapped - and we did not even know you were here. Surely we would not do that if we were ourselves evil. If we wanted to harm you, Alexei, an ordinary little boy could hardly prevent us, no?"

As she says the word 'no', she sends another empathic alarm to Exiel.

GM rolls:
3d20 ⇒ (10, 15, 14) = 39

As Exiel ceases his detect magic, Rhon uses his detect evil ability on the children, drawing attention to himself. Alexei snarls at him as Lauriel backs away towards Exiel.

"Alexei? Alexei. It is Alexei isn't it? Tell me, Alexei, why do you think we are trying to trick your sister? Alexei, Alexei, we just killed a horrible evil creature that had you trapped - and we did not even know you were here. Surely we would not do that if we were ourselves evil. If we wanted to harm you, Alexei, an ordinary little boy could hardly prevent us, no?" the small angel says soothingly.

It quickly becomes clear to you that the small angel is trying to send a secret message to you that something is very wrong with Alexei. Unfortunately, this also becomes apparent to the strange little boy. Rhon gives a start as he detects evil from the direction of the children...

"Clever little girl, figuring out my secret," Alexei says in a voice that is suddenly very deep and very confident, almost a growl. "I suppose I will need to knock Anastasia out now and wait till I can bring her to Rasputin to have her memory of this incident... modified. But first, I will take care of you!"

Rhon: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (16) + 1 = 17
Exiel: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (5) + 10 = 15

Before your very eyes, Alexei begins to swell rapidly. His skin turns green and scaly, his muscles bulge out and fills out. Leathery wings sprout from his back and his head elongates into something reptilian with rows of jagged, pointed teeth. Two more heads sprout from his shoulders, and within seconds, where once was a pale, sickly boy is now a gargantuan three-headed dragon! Anastasia screams in horror as she clutches her head. One of the dragon's heads turns to her and snarls "move, girl, and I will eat you for all the trouble you have caused me!"

It was anticipated that you would take longer to discover Alexei's secret, but Exiel's damned little angel has constant detect evil.

Alexei's turn was to change into his true form. It is now your turn. Map is updated.
