Ryskovich will chuckle a bit at Imperia's comment, then wonder the validity of her point.

I agree that we don't want to bring suspicion to our motley group, but will a group of two and three be any better? I want to be able to get in and out with the good without the Razmiri breathing down my necks. The scuffle at the docks was more then what I would have liked.

" Yagga, I would take one of those potions as well, please."
Turning she listens as the others speak.
" I'm not so sure about splitting up. It may well be that this Inn is a trap for foreigners. Who knows what this cultish religion of theirs requires. Sacrifices, slaves...Could be anything. Is there anything else around this Inn? Does it have it's own docks or do we land and approach it from the shore? We may need to have somebody stay outside as a...ace in the hole?" She taps her lip with her fingers as she thinks..
" We may want to reconnoiter at night to see what we can find out. I'm sure our Tengu friends would be as good if not better than I at that. After what happened in Xer, we surely will want to keep a low profile. We don't really know why they were taken after all."

Passad clears his throat awkwardly. "No," he shakes his head, "of course not... but it's never a pleasant sight to see, now, is it? Particularly on your ship..." He sighs lightly to himself. "Oh, the stain removal is not going to be cheap..."

Imperia Lexia wrote:

"I merely believe that keeping a cool head allows one to see all possible paths around a problem," Amauhak replies with a shrug. For just the slightest moment, he glances pointedly at Metella, although the other dwarf does not notice the gesture.

"Your current plan sounds as good as any. However, I strongly encourage you to stay at the inn overnight and explore under cover of darkness. That will hopefully allow you to poke around without attracting unnecessary attention."

Metella and Passad both nod in agreement to the Pahmet's wise comments, although upon realising they are concurring, Metella huffs to herself and Passad tries to hide the action by digging around in his pocket for his snuff box.

Some hours pass, allowing you to refine your plan, prepare appropriate magics and other tactics, or just chill and enjoy the picturesque views of the cruise. Though the captain seems nervous at first after your close escape from Xer, by the time midday has passed he seems to have relaxed once more. There's no sign of any faith barges or other vessels chasing you, and the conditions make for smooth sailing.

In the early afternoon, the river narrows ahead, flowing around a central isle thick with trees and low-growing vegetation. The northern fork of the river runs beneath a canopy formed by the isle's overhanging trees and riverside foliage, while to the south, the river is open to the sky above. Both routes reconnect around the other side of the island, the captain explains breezily, as he turns the Abacus to follow the southern route.

The captain at the wheel, humming a merry tune, suddenly pauses in his whistle with a frown. "... Huh? What was--"

Knowledge (arcana) to identify the dragon.
Knowledge (nature) to identify the snake.

Map at the top of the page has been updated.

The viper is currently in Yagga's square. The dragon is currently 20 feet above the deck (roughly somewhere above Yagga's head).

Before the captain can finish his thought, the glassy, calm water suddenly shatters as a shadow bursts from beneath the water. A small dragon, slippery like mercury darts into the sky, its body sleek and silvery and its graceful wings and wide fins equipping it with the ability to fly as well as it can swim. Within its webbed talons it gently clutches a rather irate-looking black-banded river snake--with a shrieking roar it deftly drops the viper onto the deck and swoops back up into the sky!

Blessed by some supernatural speed, the dragon wheels around, distending its jaw and coughing up a globule of greenish, foul-smelling spittle. Ryskovich and Elvis quickly discover that the goo is not merely disgusting--it's sticky, and burning-hot!

Elvis, Ryskovich, and Summit need to make a DC 12 Reflex save.

Success:
You take 4 acid damage.

Failure:
You take 8 acid damage, and are entangled. You must make another Reflex save at the end of your turn to end the entangled effect and avoid taking ongoing acid damage.

The snake, confused and irritated by its sudden removal from its habitat, lashes out and bites Yagga on the leg. The snake's tiny fangs themselves aren't too painful (1 nonlethal damage), but the poison...? Perhaps more of a problem!

Yagga needs to make a DC 9 Fortitude save.

Failure:
You are poisoned, and take 1d2 ⇒ 2 Con damage. You'll need to save again on your turn.

Imperia - not sure what you mean by "+2 if charged" - the drake takes a penalty to AC from charging, not something you need to worry about :P And for the sake of the lack of "if statements", yes it's an evil dragon.

Imperia feels Iomedae's warmth spread through her, healing some of the rending wound from the drake's sharp teeth, but her attack falls short of penetrating its tough scales. Tarra moves up with sickle in hand to aid the paladin against the beast. Elvis chugs a potion, helping dull some of the stinging pain from its sticky and acidic breath. Ryskovich's arrow goes completely wide once again, and he grabs his falcata to join the fracas shortly.

The river dragon lashes out again, and Imperia feels its hot breath very nearly clamp down on her once more; if not for the glimmering protection of her deity, it surely would have tore her arm from her body.

Party's up!

Imperia finds a weak point in the beast's scaly hide and thrusts her blade right through it. Tarra is forced to duck as the naginata erupts from the other side of the drake's neck and quite nearly takes out her eye. I just think you just want to pilot the ship lol

cringing at the ideal that the bird creature driving the boat Imperia braces herself on the barge's railings waiting for the inevitable crash.
"you know we really should let the professionals do the job that Passad pays them to perform" she says as she tightens her grip on the boat.

taking the first opportunity to get off the bird run ship she follows the bird creature known as Aparctias off the ship "mayhaps it has left a clutch of eggs" the paladin blurts imaging herself with her own personal dragon mount.

She stops as the boat lurches to a stop by the island.

After extracting himself from the gooey mess, Elvis looks around to make sure everyone is alright. Summit goes to his master's side and begins to lick a rather nasty wound.

"Well that was rather unpleasant. Does any one have some healing they could spare?"

"there you are I was afraid that you were hiding in the lower deck with the others with the way you left me to fend for myself, and then you have the audacity to ask for healing Imperia retorts to littlegoats request giving the Halfling a amused look Imperia draws her wand and places it on his wounds somewhat forcefully "It is ok you can repay me later, I hope you know how lucky you are that I am so merciful" she says with a mischievous smirk on her face as she lets a charge from her wand wash over the stunted transgressor healing his wounds .

Exploring the mound of sand reveals a small stash of loot--perhaps what passed for the drake's hoard, although the size of both the treasure and the dragon suggests it's only a juvenile. A mixture of uncut garnets and gold nuggets, enough to fill two heaped handfuls, are now yours for the taking.

Following the confrontation with the river drake, the captain takes back the wheel (he wasn't too happy about Aparctias taking control temporarily, but he keeps his grumbling to himself for the most part) and continues the journey east down the Glass River. Passad and the dwarven envoys emerge from belowdecks again, and, predictably, the Druman merchant's first reaction is to sigh heavily upon seeing even more blood and guts on his precious ship--and... sticky goo?

"Despite the mess up here," he grimaces, "I must praise your obvious prowess in dispatching this latest threat against our mission. The Society has clearly sent the right agents for this task! Let us hope that your wisdom and finesse matches your martial skills."

Passad smiles widely as he continues his flowery praise. "The Pathfinder Society continues to amaze me. I have been thinking on this journey that it would be most prudent to enter into a business arrangement that would certainly be to our mutual benefit--particularly for those with an eye for spotting profit."

"Let me make my case simply," the white-robed merchant reaches into his robes and draws a cork-stoppered potion vial filled with blueish liquid. "My trade network is growing, and already blankets the Inner Sea like no other, and the dwarves cannot hope to compete with the prices I offer. Let us not forget that the Pathfinders have had many mutually profitable business dealings with me in the past as well." He hands the potion over to Elvis and explains that it is a potion of cure moderate wounds. "A sign of good faith, for when you return to your superiors and can mention my desires to them... you understand?"

Metella nearby rolls her eyes at the glib-tongued Kalistocrat's speech. "Yes, Temel has his bejewelled in many pies and can offer cheaper wares," she scoffs, "but consider the advantages the Pathfinders might receive from a business relationship with my mercantile concern. Our network is many centuries old, and the quality of our goods is unrivalled. Everyone knows Dwarven craftsmanship can't be beaten."

"Furthermore, an arrangement with a firm with such deep roots in the Five Kings Mountains would reinforce the military alliance the Society is already negotiating. We dwarves strongly support the war efforts in the Worldwound--Passad here's only interested in making a bit of coin out of it." With a smile, Metella digs around her own belongings and draws out yet another potion, this one brown and sludgy. She hands it over to Yagga and explains that it is a potion of bear's endurance. "A show of appreciation for considering my offer. I'm hoping to hear back from the Society once we make it out of this hellhole."

This basically doesn't affect you guys too much as there are no Qadirans in the party, but you need to pick either Metella or Passad to back, although you get both potions (cure moderate wounds and bear's endurance) either way.

shaking her head at the sudden bickering of merchants "for some reason Passad I can not help but think that you have been planning this business proposal some time before this voyage and by happenstance saw this opportunity as the time to spring it upon us instead of a more how do you say... official channel" Imperia retorts to the merchants blatant disregard for protocol and proper channels "simply put this is not our decision to make if it were up to me I would pass this information up the proper chain of command and let more knowledgeable sources make the decision." she finishes before turning her attention to Metella trying desperately to make a counter offer and bribe.

"and out of all people I thought you would have known that. I heard once of the honor of dwarfs but if this underhanded dealing is what your people call honor than I question your definition on quality and craftsmanship"

I will hold my pick so there is not a tie
