This coming week is Spring Break at my school, and it seems like a good time to take a break from pretty much every responsibility I have, so here goes.
I've been feeling very burnt out as far as my games go, so I'm going to take roughly 10 days off, give or take a couple. I've noticed it's had an impact on most of the games I'm in, and I don't want to be a downer or the reason a game isn't successful.
Please expect me back between the 10th and 12th of April. Until then, I *may* read the threads, but will almost certainly not be posting.

Hello, everyone who’s still with me here. We need to talk.
I’ve been having some motivational issues across all my games, but particularly here. I’m not sure why, but I’ve been having a very hard time posting regularly in this game. I was hoping to make my break longer, but this conversation will probably take a few days to have, and I’d like to do it right.
As I see it, I have two options.
First, I could drop the game. I think it’d be the easiest solution, honestly. I’m dropping from some others as well, since I can’t dedicate the time to gaming that I used to be able to, so this would be the time for it.
Second, I could continue on, but with a few changes. First, I’d like to handwave the rest of this “episode”. It got messy about halfway through when I had a new idea for who the villains were and changed it, and I don’t think I handled the change particularly well. Second, I’ve gotten some PMs from a player who’s interested in taking over for Tavick, who’s most likely gone for good at this point. I’d propose bringing that character in to fill the spot.
Honestly it is up to you, I am good for going either route at this point.
I would like to of course keep playing as I thought this was a really interesting idea but if you are having a hard time finding the motivation I totally understand.
I enjoy the theme of this game and think it could work really well but if you can't find the motivation to GM it I don't think you should force yourself to. Whichever works best for you is what you should do.
You need to have fun, GM, and look after yourself. If you need to drop this, you need to drop it. However, I think it has great potential, and I'd love to explore the group we have here some more.
If handwaving this episode and moving on with a new player is what you want, I'm all for that!
Alright. I'm going to keep giving this a shot. I most certainly won't be posting every day, but I'll be doing better than I was before.

I'm sorry for my absence. A few things have come up that have made it difficult for me to maintain focus and get into character. My ex has continued harassing me, including sending a string of rather explicit messages, and it's escalated to the point where police involvement sounds like the way to go.
On a lighter note, I've also been getting ready for my first solo overseas trip, which brings its own set of stresses. I'm trying to get my head back in the game, but right now, I'm scattered and not feeling particularly safe, so I'd appreciate your patience.
I'll confess to not being sure which direction or directions to move you in. There seems to be a sort of vote or two for the campus, a suggestion for the embassy, and that's about it, but I'm just not sure what to do. Sorry.
Also, I've been struggling with getting sick and with closing out this school year. Apologies for the lack of posts.
I think the PC's need to decide what to do next. We have 3 options: (1) split up and tackle Embassy and University, (2) Do the Embassy First, or (3) head to the University first.
I vote split up as time is of the essence but then again I am the new guy so feel free to ignore me :-)

I'm sorry to see you go, DW. I suppose, though, that this brings up an important question. That being, does anyone have a recommendation for a new 5th, would we like to plug along with 4, or is this game just too unstable? I'm open to any of the above options, and would like to hear from everyone before continuing too far along.
Also, apologies for the lack of posts. I've been recovering from being sick and work functions have eaten a lot of my "free time".
i would say if there was a 5th that submitted from the original recruitment it may make sense. If not let's run with 4 for the current arc ad then see about recruiting a 5th. I run 8 games here on the boards and recruitments eat so much time that I could be spending just running the games.
At this point, I'm not entirely sure. With my own posting rate being what it has, I feel I'm not in any position to say anything, either :P
Sorry, I was working a convention all weekend so I didn't really get a chance to respond to this sooner.
1. Always worry bout your health, just a quick blurb is all anyone can remotely ask for letting us know you need a few days or the like from being sick.
2. It is really up to you guys. I am fine with continuing, I'm fine with quitting (I did really enjoy the concept of this), and I'm fine with picking up another person. Personally I have no recommendations though.
3. So sleepy need a nap now....lol that is all.
I've thought hard about this game and what I want to do, and I've decided that it's just not working for me. It's not your faults, it's mine. I'm just having a hard time focusing on gaming in general, but especially on this game.
It's been fun, but I'm going to shut this down. Sorry, guys. I'll leave this here for a day or so, then move it to inactive.
