One other thing. There is an optional encounter (why I do not know since there seemed to be plenty without it)
Since this scenario is notorious for running long, I can skip the encounter if people are needing to break loose for another game.
I figure we have about 7-9 days left. Let me know.

I’m not fussed either way wrt the optional.
I don’t have Luisila earmarked for another game.
I’m happy to leave it up to you others/GM Aarvid.

Ok, we are wrapping up. I know this is a confusing scenario (it was for me as a player), but hopefully at least entertaining. I enjoyed the social interaction and dialog with the group. I apologize for it running longer than usual.
Please check to see if you have posted your PFS#, dayjobs etc.
I will try to get this session posted tonight or tomorrow and Chronicles by Friday.

No worries!
While the pace was more irregular than usual, the players’/GM’s character interactions, moral dilemmas and an above average storyline made this one a real treat.
Thank-you for running, GM Aarvid!

It was an interesting scenario, for sure! And loved that the NPC's we could diplomacize (specifically Saruna and the Inevitables) started out hostile, and acted that way during negotiations while still negotiating.
Though the Guards and Wards was super annoying! (even more so when I failed to id it 3 times!) I thing you were nice to us on this one... having it mostly localized to a smaller area... the webs should have been renewing themselves every 10 minutes for instance!
What was the optional encounter?
And who took all the stuff! Seems like we missed something.
-------------
Noisy would like to try to enlist Saruna's aid for Gloriana as well, for when she gets urges to test her new-found freedom. (aka Faction Card stuff touched on earlier)

Thanks for running!
I got kind of confused at the end; was there something we missed?

I confess I did get lost a few times, but I think that was partially me just being overbooked with other games and not being able to devote as much attention to this one as I might have liked. Sorry for that. :( I prefer to play Conan as very engaged in things but it didn't get managed this time. Still, I had fun, and Luisila, it's always entertaining to adventure with you.
I'm actually still a bit bemused OOCly as to what it is our characters could conceivably be doing with the gem at this point in time? Per San Xiao's offer to go ahead and give it a go if we wish, etc.

Back atcha, Conan.
And I'll see y'all when next we adventure!

I think this is partially an issue where the story is fairly complex, and much of it is narrative rather than dialog. So I tried to share as much as I could through Saruna.
Before fleeing, the Amethyst Sage adjusted the beacon so that he would be able to access the contents of the Sky Vault remotely—a calculated risk that would allow him a way to salvage more of the contents in an emergency at the cost of destabilizing the two magic items. When Tahonikepsu first unsealed this branch of the sanctum, the Amethyst Sage noticed that his wards had failed. He activated his back door and immediately began siphoning out choice relics to prevent looters from stealing them. Ten minutes later, he ceased his efforts and cuts his arcane connection to the library. In activating his back door, however, he put significant stress on the site—stress that instigates a catastrophic failure when the PCs activate and step through the portal.
And yes, the guards and wards was annoying....especially for Conan, who seemed to believe every bit of it. :(
It slowed down the fights, but I figured it would get old so I omitted it on the return trips since you had the idea.
I liked the inevitables' hatred for creatures who extend their lives unnaturally and how that played into the negotiations.
The optional encounter was the hounds popping in every 6-10 rounds. Not much of a threat, but if the Marut was also fighting, it could have been a tough encounter. Your diplomacy was very high and with the assists was just enough.
Session reported. I only had Savage Noble for slow track unless I missed something.

That's what an 8 WIS'll get ya, ayup, ayup.

Let me know if I missed anything. Once everyone has confirmed, I will close this thread.
