Although some of you have played in my games before, a couple reminders once we are underway:

1) Please keep HP and AC status updated in your profile tag
2) I will roll group init and track actions in order. If you want to post ahead, feel free. I may move you back or allow you to change your action if someone else goes before you and alters the playing field (blocks a charge lane, is injured, creates a pit, drops your target etc)
3) Miss is always low (1-20 or 1-50) on [1d100] if miss chance applies
4) If you want to try something a little off base...ask me. Sometimes the odd actions are the most memorable. (This one should not be a problem with this group) :-)
5) I use google maps (which works great at home, but not so much from my I-pad on the road, so I may ask for help updating).

I had assumed most if not all of you had played this scenario before. I knew Saldoc had since I ran it for him and his group. I was not sure of you others.

These are actually one of my favorite series, which is why I decided to run it for CORE.

Yes, I have played and GM'd it in regular mode and it is a great series. It has been several years since I've been through it though so I've honestly forgotten some of the details. I completely forgot about this encounter. It's a tricky one and Huck doesn't have much to offer until they come closer, unfortunately. Ah, the joys of a level 1 monk.

Ruth would like to spend some time between adventures scribing the Spider Climb scroll we found, her Shield scroll and her Grease scroll into her spellbook and buy more more spells and scribe them into her spell book as well.

Ruth will buy Obscuring Mist, Magic Missile, Shocking Grasp, Expeditious Retreat. Total of 100 gold pieces.

Scribing cost will be 10 gp per 1st level spell and 40 gp per 2nd level spell. Total cost of 100 gp.

One quick question. We seem to have lost Rem and my PM to him was not answered. I have not seen any recent posts from him.

If I drop him (leave him back with the clansmen) then it will just be you 4 to continue. As a season-3, there is no 4-person adjustment, so it could make it more difficult to finish.

If we keep him as the 5th man, I would want someone to bot him.

I'm fine with dropping him for this one as I don't remember it being particularly deadly but if we play Part 3 I strongly recommend getting a 5th or even 6th player. In my experience as a player and GM it can be rather deadly if the party is weak (and I'm the first to admit that Huck isn't the strongest addition....).
