Ystrizz stands by the side of the deceased another moment, head bowed as if in prayer.. then nods to Glok... "Aye, I think we have paid our respects and are ready to leave." He turns to Hadriana and says "Thank you for your kindness in allowing us to visit here... we'll be going now."

"Thanks, ma'am. Say, where can I go to find out more about Pharasma?"
Effie earnestly asks Hadriana, before heading off with the rest of the pathfinders.

She answers Effie's questions about Pharasma, pointing out that any in-depth questions would best be answered at a temple with the appropriate texts. "Though if you have a specific question, I could try answering it..."
It doesn't take her long to guide you back out of Arkath's mausoleum, shutting the doors once more, and back out to the entrance. "May the Lady of Graves look after you," she says.

Once we're out of earshot away from the boneyard, Effie asks the pathfinders: "So, whatcha find? Did ya find a key?"

After away from the lady... Ystrizz shows what he found in the corpse's mouth... "It's a coin... not sure what it was there for... " He holds it up and examines both sides, finally having leisure to do so. "Anyone have an idea of what it might mean? Perhaps it is another clue."

"Perhaps we should ask the Halfling. I'm not looking forward to seeing Dreng's smug face again."

"Oh, what's this?" Janira is quick to greet you when you arrive back at the Wounded Wisp and even quicker to turn curious. She takes a moment to examine the coin and, grinning, she turns to you. "I've got it! This is a Pathfinder's Coin! They work with wayfinders to pass along special messages."
She's about to go through her pockets, when she realizes this could be an excellent teaching moment. "Do any of you have a wayfinder?" If so, she accepts it with a grin and compliment, and then shows you how to place the coin atop it. If not, she draws out her own to show you how the strange coin works.
The coin rises an inch into the air and slowly begins spinning in place. A somewhat garbled voice says, "The path and chamber are complete, hidden behind the nameplate of the requested aspirant and guarded by the word you requested. Fimbrik will add more." The coin slows and carefully falls back atop the wayfinder.
"Weird - any idea what that means?" she asks you, eyes brimming with curiosity. It is obvious, given her reaction, that she thinks you've stumbled across an interesting story.

"That's the second reference to Fimbrik... Seems like perhaps we should follow up that clue. Not entirely sure what it means, but we did get a few clues to a mystery while in the basement of the Wisp. One clue led us to a tomb, where we found this coin. I would hope that a visit to Fimbrik will give us the name of this aspirant and the 'word requested'. What is an Aspirant?"

"Er, someone who aspires to something? Let's go to Fimbrik's place and find out."

"Good luck!" Janira smiles, happy to have been helpful, and waves as the group heads off to their new destination.

Once on the Arcanamirium grounds, you have no trouble finding Fimbrik’s address. His house is rather large, with numerous newspapers piled around the door and crammed into a thin slot at its base. Each rounded corner of the building has a large window, but the front door is the only entrance.

Ystrizz checks the papers around the door and then knocks on the door loudly... "Hello! Fimbrik! You home?"

Yes! My apologies - didn't realize I hadn't made mention of it. @_@
This room contains a round table surrounded by chairs, and the walls are replete with tome-laden bookshelves. Effie can see Fimbrik looking perusing his book collection.
As Effie investigates the window, Ystrizz tries his hand at picking the lock. After a few moments of tinkering with the rusted thing, a slight click reveals success. The door is still closed, but decidedly unlocked.

Ystrizz opens the door slightly and calls out "Hello? Mr. Fimbrik? Anyone home?" If there's no answer, he opens the door fully and looks inside.

"Hey, Ystrizz! He's in here, reading a book. I'll try and get his attention."
Effie raps on the window, looking straight at Fimbrik. If he responds, Effie points towards the front door, and smiles, miming being let in to the house.

Ystrizz looks to where Effie is peering through the window and walks to that room in the house, hoping to talk to Fimbrik there. Already broke into the house, might as well enter as well...

Liao waits at the porch, watching to make sure nobody gets suspicious of all the people stalking about the house.

Fimbrik doesn't appear to hear Effie's knock.
Meanwhile Ystrizz walks in, taking a more direct path as Liao stands guard, noting the few passersby. A couple of students are engaged in debate over the benefits of arcane versus divine magics, but pass without so much as looking over.
A large sofa sits awkwardly near the entrance, somewhat blocking the door. Sets of chairs and tables are arranged throughout, and statues of grandiose gnomes occupy the corners of the room. A set of stairs at the far wall both up and down.

Ystrizz walks around the perimeter, skirting the sofa and peers into the room where Effie saw the gnome. "Hello there..."

Effie moves inside, following Ystrizz.
"He's in there." She gestures towards the room she peered into through the window.
Gnomes must have long lifespans then. Or maybe Fimbrik is a really powerful wizard.
Effie looks around.

"Hey, this place looks like it's not really been lived in. Where are the staff? You know, servants, golems or whatever wizards use? HEY FIMBRIK!"
Effie thinks aloud, and then calls out to the gnome.

Glok's dagger goes astray and the creatures commence their own attacks. Although one crawls forward to attack Glok, the grippli is too dexterous and its attack is far from landing. The other moves over towards Ystrizz, perhaps seeing an enemy in a bird-like predator. It, too, however, fails to attack its flat-footed opponent and the round returns to the players.

Effie reloads her pistol with bullet and powder.
"Hey Fimbrik, what's the deal?"
Something's not right. If he wanted us not here, he'd be throwing more magic around. We'd still be under attack.
"Hey, guys? This can't be Fimbrik. At least not the real Fimbrik. Surely he'd still be attacking us, or at least shouting at us. He's just standing there and he hasn't said a word. If he was the real Fimbrik he'd at least have collected his newspapers."

Glok's curiosity pays off; he finds a neatly penned letter on the table. Underneath it is a hastily scrawled note in similar handwriting with the name “Doulgonlir Caskmail”. The only other things of interest are a couple of potions resting on the windowsill.
