  • +1 skill rank allocated to Intimidate, Knowledge Local, Perception, and Sense Motive; and in Backgrounds skills to Animal Handling and Knowledge Nobility
  • Endurance feat for character level 3
  • Maneuver Training (trip) class ability gained; +1 CMB/CMD for trip
  • Favored class bonus (human): +1 CMD against grapple and trip attempts

    You could make a perception check, but it is possible that they have traced you to your home and Walker's already.


    George, Dr. Westcott will also be attending this dinner, but at a later time that evening. He is a coroner and would be interested in helping you with your forensic study of the spawn corpse that rests in the cellar.

    I'm going to give everyone a chance to RP the situation before I go into the next post about the forthcoming supper.

    It wouldn't be too hard to convince Thomas to help you bluff them if you convince him it would be saving their lives. Even just a simple light spell cast on your blade and claiming it is the wrath of God might suffice.

    Can... can Thomas do red light? I'm pretty sure Reagan knows where we can find some sulfur. I can take off my makeup and claim I applied a disguise for effect. Cardice was invented in 1835 so we could get some of that too, but he might be a little more unhelpful if we're making Altair look like a demon. If we can find a glassblower, scleral contact lenses are around at current period too, having first been made in Germany and published in a scientific journal, Archiv für Augenheilkunde, in March of 1888. Just a light coat of paint on a pair of lenses for scary looking eyes...

    This is a bad idea but it's making me laugh.

    Yeah. Sorry, it's been a busy week at the school I work at. We're ramping up for tests, so things are getting crazy and everyone is stressing. I'll try to be more on top of things, but I could be pretty spotty.

    As an FYI I'm usually much less likely to post on weekends than on weekdays. I use them to try to unplug, unwind, and spend time in person with family/friends.

    @GMDbS Our candles have blown out, but how is the rest of the house lit? If Edgar goes charging out towards the greenhouse will he be able to see where he's going?


    The rest of the house has gaslight which are set very low, but can be turned brighter by a small knob.
