"I can go after them, making sure they get out of Underbridge and into an inn without running into problems if you want." Tauriell tells, looking at Jimmy.
"They should be fine... But you enjoy your vigilante work so if it isn't too much to ask..." Jimmy replies
"I get to listen in on them bickering about you. That's not work - it's fun." Tauriell replies as she gets up and out, following the two in the shadows.
"I guess Elizabeth and Jacob were not up to date on the new kind of everyday life you have now. I hope they don't blame me for ruining their nice, well-behaved son." she grins.
"I definitely know whom I have to thank for losing my nice and shy daughter to." Fiona tells. Not quite as surprised as Jimmy's parents are, but still not pleased into which dangers this new lifestyle leads her Gwenhwyfar. "It's not all bad. That anxiety and lack of self confidence was nothing to shed a tear for now that it's gone. But you can fall off a horse on two sides."
"Oh, I forgot to provide you a drink. What do you want?" Abomentolor asks.
"Water please." Fiona replies.
"I don't have that." Abomentolor answers dumbfounded.
"Then give me a pitcher and a mug. I'll make my own." Fiona suggests.
"Okay." Abomentolor replies and hands over the requested items.
"Thank you." Fiona says and with another word water flows from her hand and fills the pitcher. "But I thought we're here to talk about the setting of the wedding celebration and if you're going to do the catering." she adds looking at Abomentolor. "I know as her mother it is part of my responsibility normally. But as you're all stinking rich and I'm not I guess I'm at least partly released from that responsibility. But I'd like to know that my only child's wedding is well planned."
"MUM!" Gwenhwyfar protests, and the unspoken 'I'm no child anymore, you're embarrassing me in front of my friends' lingering unspoken in the air.
Abomentolor chuckles. "I have a whole church devoted to celebrations and having fun at hand here. Of course I'm going to provide. The ale is on me. The rest of the party ain't going to ruin the married couple to be I guess. Where are you planning to do the celebration? So far we have only overtaken Underbridge. And that isn't the brightest spot in town to do a wedding."
Thinking about it he adds "How about doing it on the bridge. You're planning on having your house set up there anyway. If we fix up the pavement we could do that. We would need good weather but maybe some of the clerics here can put in a good word with their deities."
"Sounds like a plan. When shall we start?" Fiona asks.
"How about now?" Abomentolor suggests, and offers Fiona a hand. Speaking a word the two disappear...
"Hey!" Gwenhwyfar complains. But there is noone here to listen to her, but Jimmy. And Hector, but she expects no empathy from him for that situation.
... reappearing on top of the bridge. Looking around Abomentolor assesses the work that would have to be put into making this an appropriate wedding spot. "Looks a bit neglected. But nothing that can't be fixed. I guess the crew that does construction work for Jimmy could do that in a day or two. When is the wedding?"
"On Sunday." Fiona replies. "You know someone who can provide the furniture and dishes and such?"
"That guy who did the statues auction party has to have the connections. I need to ask Tauriell. She did business with him for that party. She might know where to find him." Abomentolor replies. "What kind of food should be served? Some fancy stuff, or just three grilled oxen?"
"We have the Swallowtail Festival in Sandpoint every year. Everyone offers the best they can do for that. And for food the taverns and inns of town serve their best dishes. That's really great. And I think we should try something similar. I guess Magnimar would have to offer at least something comparable to that. And not just three oxen." Fiona ponders.
"Do I look like an idiot?" Abomentolor asks tilting his head. "You know I lived in Sandpoint too."
"Aaah, yes, sorry. What do you think of the idea though?" Fiona asks.
"Maybe we should simply invite Ameiko Kaijitsu to serve her famous dish at the wedding. That would set the expectations for the Magnimarian Cooks." Abomentolor suggests.
"You should see to it that you go along with Gwenhwyfar. She has to fetch Father Zantus for the ceremony. Maybe you can go along to arrange that." Fiona tells.
"This might become complicated. We can't bring a kitchen with us. But we can ask her. Maybe my kitchen will do." Abomentolor muses.
"Just let me put some walls to the house here. Would be nice for them to have their own, once they're married. Then we're going back to them to get them involved in that."
He throws out a few castings of Wall of Stone to raise the walls of the already set layout by several feet starting with the outer walls. "Now I'm just missing the ability to cast a permanent wall of force to add the large window she wanted."
"Wouldn't glass work too?" Fiona asks rhetorically.
"Probably." Abomentolor shrugs, grabs Fiona and wills them back to Abomentolor's - formerly known as the Shadow Clock.
"What's the name of that old guy who did that auction for you? And when are you going to Sandpoint. I want to come along to get Ameiko Kaijitsu to cook at your wedding." he blurts out to Gwenhwyfar and Jimmy.
"That's Randolph Burston III. Why... Ameiko? What... are you planning everything without asking me?" Gwenhwyfar protests.
"Why yes. You concentrate on getting married. Leave the party to the pros." Abomentolor replies, offering his hand to Fiona for a high five.
Fiona claps on Abomentolor's hand with a grin.
"It seems that even if we argue we wont win." Jimmy says with a shrug to Gwen
"You don't care?" Gwenhwyfar inquires.
"I do care. I also know that I have no practice making arrangements like this."
Gwenwhyfar thinks about it, pouting, but then her face brightens. "Okay. Then let us go to Sandpoint and get Father Zantus. Are you ready?" When no one objects she grabs Abomentolor and Jimmy and with a word all are gone and appear in the midst of the Sandpoint Cathedral.
Looking around she sees Abstalar and runs over to him. Stopping short of jumping him with a big hug the words splutter out of her. "Hello Father, I'm getting married with Jimmy there, on Sunday, in Magnimar, are you doing the ceremony for us? Pleeeeease."
Father Zantus is baffled by Gwenhwyfar coming running at him after being away for weeks - or months already? - and then returns with such big news. "That is... unexpected... I mean... congratulations. He gives Gwenhwyfar a hug and then he reaches out to congratulate Jimmy too. [b]"But that is really on short notice. We would have to leave immediately to be there on time."
"That's easy. I can move us all to Magnimar in no time. I can get you tomorrow or even on Sunday whichever fits you better." Gwenhwyfar replies.
"I have to talk to some people about not being here on sunday. Give me an hour and I can tell you, yes?" On confirmation Father Zanthus adds "Meet me here in an hour then." He goes back to finish what he was busy with as Gwenhwyfar barged in a moment before.
"Okay. Then we can go after your business."Gwenhwyfar tells Abomentolor.
"Great, let's go. But can you do that act with the puppy dog eyes there again? I guess that will improve our chances to get her going a lot." Abomentolor jokes.
"Father Zantus is like a dad for me. I'm for sure not doing that in front of Ameiko. You can try if you want." Gwenhwyfar objects with a raised brow.
"I think, I'll try another approach." Abomentolor replies. He leads the way through town to the Rusty Dragon. Inside he calls "Heyho. I'm back!"
Abomentolor gets mixed reaction from the patrons. Some sigh and turn away. But one table where all already a bit tipsy cheers as Abomentolor greets all.
Ameiko looks from the bar over to Abomentolor, nodding.
Abomentolor walks over to Ameiko with his arms wide and greets her. "My favourite Inn-Keeper. How are you."
"Until now I was fine. What do you want? The help wanted board is over there." Ameiko replies pointing to the black board.
"But I don't want anyone. I want you. I want you for a cooking contest like you do every year for the Swallowtail Festiaval. Just for a wedding in Magnimar instead." Abomentolor tells.
"You found someone to marry?" Ameiko asks wondering.
"Haha, that's a good one. No, not me. Gwenhwyfar over there is marrying her Jimmy. You know, that started here, the night Mrs. Heidmarch employed us all." Abomentolor explains. "And now I'm responsible for the catering and wanted to do something special."
Jimmy stands there and shrugs when he is pointed to, in an apologetic manner
"And how do you imagine that I bring my curry spiced salmon to Magnimar. It is a bit different from dragging a chart up the road to the cathedral. I can provide a pot full of it and you bring it yourself though." She offers.
