Another skull explodes from positive energy. The remaining one snaps at Jimmy

And the hydra is dead again.
But for how long?

Following the tunnel you come to the crossing where you fought the spiderlike creatures. But they don't seem to have taken a home here again. Deciding for the right way to continue (straight on) you and at the back entrance of the troglodyte cave. Which you can tell by the smell. But the entrance is blocked. It was boarded up again.

The knocking causes quite the commotion on the other side. Commands are shouted and weapons readied. And then - silence.

No seeing through.

"Nothing that helps us." Gwenhwyfar sighs. "<It's Gwenhwyfar here. Where is that stupid front entrance to your cave? Send Azoresh to the main path over the cape to meet us.>"


Narrator

"<Gwenhwyfar? Tell Azoresh! - She has been here - It's a trap! - But it's Gwenhwyfar.>" the tumult goes on.

"Let's move back and hope for the best. I told them to send Azoresh to meet us at the main path." Gwenhwyfar explains. "At least nothing is far on this peninsula." she adds as they walk back.

Out of the hydra cave and back on the path she waits.

As Azoresh hears the name she hurries to the exit and moves out to the path. "<Hello Gwenhwyfar. Good to see you.>"

"<Hello Azoresh.> Gwenwhyfar replies and asks what is going on in the tribe and how's life on the cape and how puppy is doing.


Female Troglodyte

The puppy dog is fine and comes shortly after Azoresh out of the shrouds. Azoresh gives Gwenwhyfar a catch up on what's happening. Which is not much. Tryoglodytes arenot known for their rich cultural life. It's eating, sleeping, fishing, hunting. But it's still peaceful on the peninsular.

With the catching up Gwenhwyfar's ten minutes of speaking and understanding Draconic are quickly used up. She tells her goodbye and turns to Jimmy. "Shall we go back?"

Gwenhwyfar speaks the word and suddenly she and Jimmy are back in Magnimar. In the park of Heidmarch Manor. "We should set up the statues for the event before they grow to their original size and we can't move them around any more."

"That's a good idea. You go find her and I start setting the statues up." Gwenhwyfar suggests.

Then she starts unpacking the bag of holding and putting the statues all in a row.

"Yes?" Margaret asks as she opens the door.

"Is Mrs Heidmarch available?"


"I don't know. What is your request of her?" Margaret inquires.

"Gwen is currently arranging some statues in her garden and we would like her to make sure she is happy with their placement before they grow."


Margaret raises a brow fearing for the worst "Wait here." she commands and hurries to get Mrs. Heidmarch.

A moment later Mrs. Heidmarch comes out of the Manor house. "Show me the statues." she greets Jimmy, but unlike Margaret she is really excited about it.

"Over here." Jimmy says leading the way back to Gwen

Mrs. Heidmarch follows and is overwhelmed. She kneels down to take a closer look. "Oh, hello Gwenhwyfar. This is marvellous. Your drawings are great and all, but having the statues of all seven Runelords standing here - and almost as if they were alive!"

"But you have to place them different. Looking around she suggests "Put the seven in a circle on the path over there. And the statues of Sorshen you place here and there in the park. Maybe in the maze for example. But make sure the plants are not damaged once the statues go back to their original size."

"We were potentially bringing the glass golem and having Tauriell create an illusion of Sorshen. We also brought back the sarcophagus where Sorshen's body was."

"What are you going to do with it?" Mrs. Heidmarch asks without being specific if she means the sarcophagus our the corpse.

"We were thinking of selling it." Jimmy replies, being equally as unspecific

Mrs. Heidmarch raises a brow. "You like living on the edge?" she asks with an mischievous smile on her face.

"I certainly do like living." Jimmy replies

"Then you should reconsider not selling your corpse." Mrs. Heidmarch hints.

"And why do you say that?"

"Well, if you took the time to read some of the Pathfinder Chronicles or took the time to read through the precautions in the Field Guide you would have come past some warnings about not leaving parts of your body for the evil guys to find. I'm not sure if a scrying on you would work with parts from your old body. But would you bet your life on it? And what would happen if someone tries to resurrect that body? Would it work? And what would happen to you then?" Mrs. Heidmarch muses. "I don't have 20 grand to burn to find out. But that doesn't mean there aren't such people out there."

"I could store it in my basement. As blackmail material for later." Mrs. Heidmarch jokes.

"Well, for my final demise I made arrangements with the local Pharasma Temple. They will make sure that the dead stay dead. I assume they can also accommodate the body of someone who is not dead." Mrs. Heidmarch replies.
