Meeting with that pastor is indeed interesting. They were there because they were invited by Janet Brann Hollis to come to South Africa. For a conference and doing their thing. Which is going through town or where ever they are praying for people to get healed and telling them the gospel of Jesus Christ.

I know there are lot of people who say leave me alone with Christianity, their missionary attempts are annoying. If you read the new testament in the bible you find the people actually liked Jesus. They wanted to be with him.
My thought about this is: If you're annoy people with your faith, then you're doing it wrong. I highly regard this Pastor because I think he is a good example for doing it right.

Also there is something I'd like to do sometime but within the rules of Pathfinder it would not be possible. At least if you start at level 1.
Familiars and animal companions are often some appendages that are only pulled out when needed for some reason. Even Destinée is most of the time just coming silently along.
Therefore I'd like to play a witch's fox familiar as a kitsune with the fox shape feat. But that would need some tweaking as the designer of that feat set the prereqs to BAB 3 and described it as 'like Beastshape II'. To do that from level 1 this would need some development like skill focus or such. With the fox shape at level 1 and increasing to what it gives originally like Beastshape II.

The problem that probably led to having a requirement of BAB3 is that they wanted to prevent tat someone gets an effect similar to beastshape II very early.
usually you would have to e level 7 for beastshape II. But the only advantage I see with the fox is being tiny and getting a huge bonus on stealth. The fox has none of the other abilities listed in beastshape II. But the earliest a kitsune could get that would be lvl 3 fighter/pally/ranger or level 5 rogue, bard, cleric or level 7 sorcerer/wizard.
What do you think would have to be nerfed about the feat to make it eligible for level 1

Correction. In beastshape I the scent and low light vision are listed.
So my suggestion for a level 1 feat would be.
1st level assume the form of a fox (tiny)
Tiny animal: If the form you take is that of a Tiny animal, you gain a +4 size bonus to your Dexterity, a -2 penalty to your Strength, and a +1 natural armor bonus.
5th level gain the benefits from the fox form as listed in beast shape I which is scent, as the kitsune already has low light vision.

You're tiny and provoke attacks of opportunity to move into your enemies field. Which you could circumvent by making an acrobatics check. But you can't flank in this way. Also you can't use any weapon as you no longer have hands. Only thing left is a bite attack with 1d3 and you loose most of your strength bonus you had due to str -2.
And your dex you would really need to not get hit as this shapechanges only you and not your armor, leaving you at AC 20 with dex +7 nat +1 size +2. So at least you wouldn't get killed while you can not contribute to a fight.
So I don't see exactly where the scary part is.

Or do you mean using bite with weapon finesse and finesse training on the bite? That is still rather lame on the damage, but rather strong on the to hit. +7dex +2 size at level 1 is rather good. Finesse training at level three would mean +7+2+2 (+11) for 1d3+10 (7 x 1.5) damage. That is neat.
So there is a way to abuse this.

If someone touches a statue’s hand, all three plates start to glow equally (masking the fact from that point that the central one was more polished), growing brighter with each hand touched. Once someone has touched all four hands, the next person to step upon the central gold plate is immediately teleported to...
Yep. Looks like you're right. This magic teleporter's trigger must have degenerated over time. I don't know how that happened. walking away whistling.
Foxy Quickpaw |
Well. That's not entirely true. I got bored that no one was willing to try something with the statues and solving riddles myself is also boring and therefore didn't read carefully again but took the shortcut: Oh it glows -> must be teleporting. Must have remembered wrong that you need to touch all four.
So if you know the solution it is nice of you not to run in and solve the riddle in one post. But if we all wait until Niamh does it could get tedious.
