Neither the psicrystal or De'oghe notice anything. Detect magic also does not pick up anything, but Haundo and Klor notice a paper mentioning a some sort of organization being formed in Absalom to help return the world to the way it was.
Another paper mentions someone by the name of Lyolen, and the name is circled. The paper is in pretty bad condition, and it is coded.
edit:for clarification

1d20 + 9 ⇒ (12) + 9 = 21 Autohypnosis Skill Note
You can attempt to memorize a long string of numbers, a long passage of verse, or some other particularly difficult piece of information (but you can’t memorize magical writing or similarly exotic scripts). Each successful check allows you to memorize a single page of text (up to 800 words), numbers, diagrams, or sigils (even if you don’t recognize their meaning). If a document is longer than one page, you can make additional checks for each additional page. You always retain this information; however, you can recall it only with another successful Autohypnosis check.
Haundo |
Haundo didn't have time to speak before the more learned among them deciphered the coded message with startling speed and with ease as they aided one another. As they worked he spoke quietly to Klor. "It seems that even these rooms have something useful." His earlier doubt is completely gone from his grating voice.
When Saxton writes out the translation he nods in agreement with the everyone else. "Lets take everything that is related to those papers and anything else useful for that matter. We will have to make it a goal to meet this Lyolen and this group the moment we reach Absalom. Perhaps Laden will be interested in knowing about them."
He didn't know if fostering a relationship between Quinten and Absalom would be possible now but in the future such a relationship would aid both cities. Especially if they were both secure.
Do we need another perception check? Or is it okay to continue to another room? :) This place is very useful so far, I can't wait to gather up the supplies next!
Haundo |
Haundo marshall's the militia, having some pick up whatever couldn't fit in the magical bag the party had at its disposal and when the time came he used another of his abilities to see through the main door and check the street beyond.
Door Sight - Main Door 1/4 uses remaining. Perception 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (19) + 8 = 27
He pulls himself back into his mortal shell, relieved to see that their breach had remained unnoticed for now. When he returned to his body though he couldn't help but sag against the door as his ability wore him down further. It was harder to return to his shell each time...
Almost as if his own spirit was trying to escape...
Shaking his head he motioned to the door, he was wary about accepting anything as being as it seemed today. He gripped the deadbolts and nodded to the others. "All clear, but we go with weapons at the ready, there could be foul magic afoot so keep you wits about you. De'ohge can you close the door behind us?"
He pulls himself back into his mortal shell, he hadn't been surprised to see that their breach hadn't remained unnoticed. He counted the foes that stood against them and hoped that they could take them unawares. When he returned to his body though he couldn't help but sag against the door as his ability wore him down further. It was harder to return to his shell each time... But this time was different.
Almost as if his own spirit was trying to escape...
Shaking his head he motioned to the door, indicating that the path out was blocked and giving details on what lay beyond the door. Nodding to the others he smiled grimly, exposing his canine teeth in a toothy grin. "We've got company so everyone get ready we're gonna fight our way out. De'ohge can you close the door behind us?"
De'ohge |
Knowledge: local 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (13) + 9 = 22
"Once we get these supplies back to base, I think I might know a couple of buildings worth checking out."
De'ohge will stuff extra rations into his haversack to help carry the stuff back.
De'ohge |
well, seeing as De'ohge has spent quite some time in the city, he should have an idea of which buildings haven't been looted yet, probably because they are infested...
He'll lead them to a building or two that are likely to have supplies needed for a voyage, then he'll slip in a place more likely to have an extensive library or magical items.
Watcher Uatu |
Nice rolls.
The party is able to avoid any zombies as they move from building to building.
100 rations are found, and along with several bundles of rope(15), lamps, lamp oil, shovels, mining picks, oil, pens, ink, etc.
A shipment of onyx is also found, 500 gp worth.
Basically if it is in the equipment chapter, not including weapons and armor, and it is not a mount you found it. Let me know what you want, and I still tell you how much you found.
Haundo |
Haundo sent men back to retrieve the other ten men from the docks and before they knew it they had gathered a heaping mound of supplies from the various buildings, so much so that every Militiamen was carrying as much as they could manage. It was a dangerous gambit but when you found a score like this it was hard not to give it all you got and hope for the best. Aside from that they had done an excellent job of avoiding being noticed by the fallen and he was starting to believe at one point that the divine had intended for them to succeed today. If they were he wasn't going to turn the help down...
They had hit a tradesmen's building and found loads of rope and other mundane supplies. Besides hitting the Traders building they had hit a tavern and a jewelers building as well, loading up on much needed provisions and onyx for the journey ahead adn for the militia. Today had been a great day indeed.
"Excellent work De'Ohge! We've done more then I expected in one day lets make our way back to the docks and sort this mess." It was hard directing the thirty men to move out back to the docks and he knew that after today's supply gathering that more then likely they would return back to Laden's command. He was sad to see them go but more then glad to see none had fell while under his brief span of command. Another blessing from Cayden.
I will throw out a list later, but I'm thinking we took this town by storm lol! The resistance and us are gonna be loaded up for some time. xD Now we are gonna have to gather a crew next. :p
Haundo |
Once they grabbed as much as they could they headed back to the docks, to their rally point where they had struck the greatest blow against the fallen of the city.
The supplies were placed in the center of the docks, under guard by the men that were still under Haundo's command. At least until Laden arrived, but until then he intended to take full advantage of their strength and defended the docks with a stoic perseverance. "We'll have to tell Laden of the places we weren't able to clear out. It will be especially helpful to them once we are gone and sailing to Absalom. I think we found enough kegs to suit your tastes eh Klor?" Haundo gave a toothy grin, barely avoiding letting his tongue hang out in pleasure at their sudden good fortune.
"I think it will be best to leave it to those who are from this town convince others to join us if they want to. I don't think they'll listen to outsiders, even those who have aided them..." He motioned to some of the militiamen calling them over and speaking to them. "Please let Laden know we have returned and see if he can see us here at the docks again."
"Lets tell the professor the good news."
De'ohge |
I'm back!
Perception 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 24
De'ohge was glad he had so many to provide cover and protection for his own searches. He was happy that the others were appeased by the finds he was able to lead them to.
There were several items specifically that he had been on the look out for, especially with a long trip ahead.
(Alchemist' lab, crafting kits for leather-working, carpentry, trap-making, sewing, cooking, bookbinding, jewelry, and fishing. As well as various inks, pens, and blank journal/spell books.)
Uchendu Kybwa'ka |
I also recommend seeing if we can find:
Barrels of Tar.
Empty barrels (for water).
Fishing Nets.
Fishing rods.
Sail cloth.
Long lengths of rope.
Cut timber.
Hammers and Nails.
I would hate for the ship to become damaged, and to have no way to repair it. Similarly, I do not want to run out of supplies :-/
Watcher Uatu |
You are able to get 10 barrels of tar.
20 empty barrels
11 fishing nets
20 rods
5 ropes in the following lengths.
2x400 feet, 1x300 feet, 3x200 feet, 5x100 feet
25 hammers, and thousands of nails.
I won't be tracking nails, ink or pens.
There are a lots of empty journals and empty spellbooks.
1 alchemist lab is found, and several crafting kits are found. I will say 10 are found. Which one they work for is up to the party.
Haundo |
Unless someone stops him Haundo meets with Laden and shares the intel they've gained about various locations they weren't able to clean out. He also asks Laden if they're is anyone willing to man their vessel and join them on their journey to Absalom. He tries to sell the argument that by establishing a sea route, that the two cities could aid each other in surviving the fall of civil society.
From there they split the items that were found sharing things evenly but not squandering the supplies they will need for the ship as the length of their journey is unknown.
Uchendu Kybwa'ka |
Now now, I am sure there is room for encounters with shoals of zombie flying fish, and a young zombie sea serpent or two before we reach Absalom ;-)
That said, I would be surprised if there was already a cure - more someone trying to find/manufacture one, perhaps...
That aside, I do not think there is any more equipment that I want to 'rustle up'...
Uchendu Kybwa'ka |
Now that I think of it (and after I have gone through the PFSRD exhaustively), I recommend the following:
Personal Acquisitions:
Whetstone
Pocket Watch
Large Jar of Mwangi Coffee
Winter Blanket
Small Steel Mirror
Portable Altar
Spring-loaded Wrist Sheath (2)
Surgeon's Tools
Group Acquisitions:
Fishhook (6)
Waterproof Bag (6)
Signal Whistle (6)
Sextant
Spyglass
Holy Water (as much as we can lay our hands on)
Alchemist's Fire (as much as we can lay our hands on)
Acid Flask (as much as we can lay our hands on)
Alchemical Grease (as much as we can lay our hands on)
I figured that I should ask for *everything*, and then be pleasantly surprised with whatever the GM kindly allows us to rustle up :-)
I swear that is it, though :-P
