Andreas Merona |
Andreas looks at Klor and Saxton, is it catching. what if the creature is making them want to go back in to finish what he started.
"If you want to go back in there to let the beast take you, at least wait til morning so our abilities refresh so we can help you with your death wish."
Watcher Uatu |
Haundo growled momentarily at De'ohge, baring his teeth slightly at the insult that he stood there and did nothing. He had stood alone against the creature and had been pummeled as thought he were an anvil and that creature was a blacksmiths damned hammer. "Perhaps if you weren't so cowardly as to run from that room we would have beaten it but no, you left me to get my fangs knocked out..."
Saxtons words distracted him for a moment and as he looked back and forth between the others and the slight bickering that was going on he shook his head. Trying desperately to focus his thoughts but when Saxton spoke in his mind again he he shook his head more violently as if there was a bug stuck in his ear. "We did enter the room though. I will show you it is not locked..."
He reached past Saxton and tried the handle once more...
Dunno if this causes it to happen again or if Haundo is under some sort of aversion to touching that particular door.
Also I may have missed it but how many doors are there?
There is one door. The second time you touch it nothing happens.
Saxton Quinn |
"I would like to go into this room, I have not been in this room and as you see its still locked. All I can think off is a mind trick of some kind, I felt some thing when I touched it but my mind is not like your can not not be fooled with such tricks. None of you went in, the door was never opened and its still locked and close, I know this for a fact. Again a say you have been tricked in the mind. Look at the dust under the door its not been tempered with, you have not past it."
he kicks the door,
"no one in"
Klor Kragsson |
Klor takes a defensive stance when Saxton kicks the door in case the sound triggers more undead to come at the group.
General, Did ya see a way ta open dat door when ya did yer magic look-see? an if ya tell me there be a monster on da other side I be givin' ya a whallop aside yer head ta set ya right.
Andreas Merona |
Andreas pulls his sword and prepares for a fight that they might end up loosing after what happened before.
"Saxton you need to shut that door before it escapes.
Glad to suggest something for you to throw at us at some point later Watcher
Haundo |
Haundo wasn't just confused he was angry and when Saxton kicked the door he growled. "It is locked, what sorcery is this!"
Brushing Saxton out of the way, Haundo leaned against the frame and passed through once mroe to look around. This time though he focused on the door itself and how it could be unlocked. Also he looked for where its hinges were in case they needed to break it down, weak points would be helpful in that process...
Once he returns to himself he relays his findings to the others...
Saxton Quinn |
Saxton move aside and Haundo ruses in, knowing now that they may be coming round to his way of thinking. He thinks of the spell like events
1d20 + 8 ⇒ (18) + 8 = 26 Spellcraft
::"The mind effect tried to work on me but my Psicrystal is another consciousness and so was not effected and broke its effect, we are linked, that is how I know of the real events her, it witnessed them with me"::
Saxton Quinn |
Saxton takes he psycrystal of his chest and puts it on the floor,
it grows Crystal legs and moves to face you all, in a voice that is not Saxtons it says.
"May master is correct you have not as yet entered that room, it has been locked all this time and only 1/12 of an hours has passed. There an magic that activated on contact with the door that attempted to effect may masters perceptions but is mind blacked it, as a construct I was not effected. My master is correct you have all mean bewitched, I would say for such magic to be used here, what ever is really behind the still locked and magicked door it was worth investigation by means of the magic gloves, one look will tell you of what you think is in there really there with out the need to open the door"
Saxton looks at you all
De'ohge |
"I still think you are the one suffering from the delusion, but I will take a look, if for no reason other than to prove your delusion. I pray in the Shadows that yon beast may not detect my sight and retaliate."
That said, De'ohge, with some trepidation, approaches the door, and, stepping to one side, activates the gloves and places his hand upon the wall next to the door to see into the room.
Saxton Quinn |
"They are not scardiy cats Klor, they genuinely can not help it. There minds have been infiltrated I'm sorry to say they are and continue to be bewitched. In my line of work I specialist training not be so taken over in such a way. My Crystal acts as a check on such things should even I full under such a glammer. I must add I am astonished at your will power to also not o have succumbed to its potency. What ever was used was designed to make the weak willed 'want' to not go in that room by convincing them they had been in and faced a great danger. I subject you other do as you are being compiled to do and move to the next room, Me and Klor will be fine."
if they go can i pop the lock with a sonic hit
ill take some rounds to aim
Haundo |
Haundo, who had been trying to see through the door again sighs as his ability fails him.
tired of waiting on a response :p
He pulls back from the door and raises an eyebrow questioningly at Klor. "Instead of running our collective mouths let's break the door down and be done with this." He pulls out his holy symbol and taps it against his chest, focusing his energy to increase his strength temporarily so that he could break down the door with a single blow. As his ability surges through his muscles, his armor strains to contain him. Belts creak and plating is pushed outward as his muscles grow larger without hesitation he raises his Bulwark and charges the door, hoping to smash it down with a single powerful strike...
Strength surge, standard action +1 to strength checks for one round.
Strength check to break down door 1d20 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (16) + 3 + 1 = 20
if his first attempt fails he tries one more time before giving up on doing it on his own...
Shaking his head as he staggered back, failing to break the door. Haundo growls in outrage, using his clerical power one last time before charging the door again...

I thought since someone else got to use their power first you were not using yours. oops
Uchendu Kybwa'ka |
With the greatest of trepidation, Uchendu waits for those who enter the room to be pounded into a fine paste...
...when that does not actually happen, he looks quite confused...
...peering into the room, and finding that there is, in fact, nothing in there only heightens his confusion.
"Maybe it was a summoned construct, and it ran out whilst we were arguing outside...?"
Haundo |
Haundo stomps into the room, his earlier confusion turning to anger as he growled at the empty sweeping. "Let's continue forward, if we find it we destroy it, let's get the weapons and get out of this place..."
Haundo looks for any visible doors in the room and for anything unseen as well.
Perception - Search for doorways and hidden spots 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (14) + 8 = 22
Haundo |
Haundo's ears perk up as his keen eyesight catches something slightly off with the wood walls of the war room and after gently tapping the walls a couple of times he confirms his suspicions. Giving a happy bark, he waves the others forward as he remarks to Klor. "Hidden door, I'm sure of it."
He presses up against the door and uses his ability once more, forcing his spirit to pass to the otherwise and see what there is to see...
Saxton Quinn |
Saxton walking in slowly his arms behind his back looking around but touching nothing.
any documents GM you said it was a war room?
with sad smile he says.
"I do hope you believe me next time"
then he sees Haundo presses up against a wall and stops to look at what he is doing.
Haundo |
Returning to himself with a shudder Haundo staggers back and gives a happy bark. "Weapons on the otherside of this door, can't tell what's all there but we may have our armory."
Haundo then starts looking for a way to open the door.
Klor Kragsson |
I was trying to figure out from the posts if we opened the door or not but I guess we did
well lets go git our weapons. General syas this be da armory.
Klor grabs his axe and shield and moves on into the room scanning for something that may catch his eye.
perception 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7
Haundo |
Oops my bad, for some reason it just had the Klor and Saxton aid another stuff I didn't see the I found the switch part earlier... That is weird lol! Thanks Watcher :D
Haundo nods to the others and hits the switch to open the door and enters the armory warily, Bulwark raised and Magical Axe in hand...
