In your first mission as a Pathfinder agent, the head of the Grand Lodge sends you on a number of missions throughout the metropolis of Absalom, pitting you against traps, thieves, and even an unruly devil, all in the pursuit of knowledge.

It was a continuity plan... I knew he had 4 ppl to help him... If, on the other hand, it was defeating you and turning you all into ooze? Well... burning is often the best way to deal with that before running away.
Sorry I was late for updates last night. I was busy getting my a** handed to me playing in Rebel's Ransom at the local PFS. Almost a TPK (4/6 deaths), but I survived! Playing a lvl 5 in a subtier 8-9 is harsh!

I had to go look that one up. Been a while since I played it. I played it with a lvl 5 wizard, but likely did not play up. Still it was a tough mod.
Mod spoiler:
I had Resist Energy for the fire oracle, which helped a great deal. And I recall summoning in a crocodile with MSIII to deal with the Sea Hag. Death roll is great btw. Mummies were no problem. For us the real threat was that fire oracle and the near unlimited castings of wall of fire.
As a note, you can charge as a standard action **if you don't have a full turn** (i.e. surprise round or staggered) going up to 1x your movement speed instead of 2x. You can't draw a weapon on the way if you do this (unless you have Quick Draw).
Although it appeared he didn't have a straight path anyway.

This looks like a very nasty encounter. I may have screwed up, but I figured we had to take the chance while we have the upper hand. Bite, claw, claw scares the hell out of me. Eventually, we are going to stop making fort saves and then we are screwed.
I know I can attack blind, though I need to know where they are, but I was looking for large cuts of cloth to throw over the creatures to keep the ones that aren't blind yet from continually having to make saves.

Sorry everyone for the erratic posting. Things have gotten crazy at work and I've overextended myself on PBPs. I'm sticking around through the end of this module, though. So I'll try to keep up!
As a note, I'd like to continue to be in this group for First Steps Part III, as I thoroughly enjoyed myself. However, Griff will not be able to play in it as he will be level 2 after this scenario is over.
So, I will be bringing a different character. Not sure what it'll be yet.
That is, if you are all cool with me staying in the group. ;)

I want to play part III as well. Glad you will be here Griff, in whatever incarnation you bring.
Hahahah, I was wondering about that... It seemed like something should have been in that room... ;p
On another note, I will not be able to join you all for part III, as I am going to PaizoCon next weekend! Woo hoo! I would like to join in on future scenarios with this group though!

I am a bit silent on the end game because I really don't have any ties to these factions and want to give others the spot light and the 'taaadahhh' moment as they hand over the goodies. In Part 1 I got my spot light with the paracountess... and post game one I am sure he also got some riding crop inflicted injuries FROM the paracountess :)

At this point, your three tasks are complete. Anyone can feel free to let me know if there are any last minute purchases to record on the chronicles. I will try to get them filled in and emailed today.

Fung was designed to be an homage to Jackie Chan with a late addition of the Elemental Fist... since Jackie is actually a good singer, I imagined Fung singing old songs while doing his chores around the temple... :)
