Some very good items stack infinitely.
Do not encourage them. May the battle be ours to win.

I'm afraid someone has pointed out to me in a PM on how crafting gear can break the system, so I will have to rule that all gear must be purchased at full price. Sorry to those who spent time craft gear, but you still have time left to fix it.
Also to answer a few questions that I received in PM's. Any limited charge items will be refreshed between fights at no cost. And there will be a solid eight hours between fights so casters will have their full spells.
And finally, any classes with animal companions or familiars. You are allowed to bring your companion into the arena and fight as it is part of your class. If your companion or familiar dies but you win the match, they are back for the next fight. However, if the companion is still alive, but you are defeated, the match is over.

20th level, oh how I have yearned for a game to go that high. I'll have to think real hard about this before I make a character for aproval.

New list of applicants:
Belrim Eagle-eye
Soryn Ambereye
Ai Lin
“Mage-Slayer” Duncan Oto
Nathaniel
Graice Demoneye
Vigal
Akor Scourgebane (needs to be finalized)
Did I miss any? That's eight, so eight more to go.
I'm also thinking that after the Tournament is over, we might, if people are willing, do two special matches of four versus four teams.

I already knew that was a possibility, but I assumed since you were the host you knew about it also. With that aside, is this your first time running a game at very high levels? If so be prepared to solve rules disputes because things are not so cut and dry when people grab feats and other things from several books, and try to combine them. :)
just a heads up.

Darn it I missed the first 8. I should be in by Friday.

@Arkwright - Your Eidolon would already be with you
@Mr. Swagger - I've run several games at high level, but never with any crafters.
Which brings me to another point, no arguing about rules during combat. This is for fun. If a dispute comes up. I will take time to examine the problem and present a ruling.

The bonded item is part of their class and can be improved, however keep wands that aren't bonded at the usual price
Just to be clear the bonded item(wand) gets the full benefit of the feat to include price reduction.
Any other wand does not benefit because the other wand is not bonded.
Is that correct?

If we are short, then I will leave it up to you guys. Either one of three things would happen, one, we would do a lotto for that spot and it would be an instant carry over to the quarterfinals. Second, you could fight a monster, or third, you could fight a GM run NPC.
I don't think we will be short, but in the event we are, What option do you guys like?

I have two questions:
1. Are we going to be able to watch other contestant matches?
2. Are we going to be able to see character builds after a person is eliminated?
Both are entertaining. The first would allow for contests to adjust strategies based on observed events. You could still randomize matches, at least until round 4.

I am not participating but my test character had a 64 AC (like a 52 touch) in his defensive mode and was immune to most conditions...good luck hitting something like that.
I will be interested to see how this turns out and what people make.
One of my test builds had a +64 attack on a single offensive strike and broke 90 AC on full defense.
Another test build could push +70 attack, but with a signifcantly lower AC.
I don't think this contest is going to go to pure DPR/AC though. It's going to take thinking outside the box to survive this.

Post in the discussion thread if you haven't already and reserve your spot in the tournament
That's 13, three more to go and we have until tomorrow night. Any open spots will be taken up my a monster that will face a random character instead.
The Grand Battle Start on Monday, so use the weekend to think of strategies.
