Ottilia smiles at Irith's response to her plea and continue chatting with her for a while before coming back to her comrades.

I hope my words will go to Irith heart and will convince her to purchase whatever the cost Working End

She says with a smile towards the aasimar I think Kraak and me make a good team.

Ramenhotep confides to Ottilia, "I think I'm starting to win Temel over, and he's mostly interested in the Courts. But it'll take a little more sweetening. I'll talk to him again at the next event and see what I can do. That atmosphere was throwing me off, I couldn't relax! I need some more coffee, I think."

Felicitas Aurora!! Kraak was a char I played once, thought Tengu are not my style and changed to an aasimar ;-) Unfortunately you can´t change the chars name after 10 posts. Even though you can remodel him before hitting level 2

I suggest making a new alias with Felictas's name and details and use that for posting. Saves on a lot of confusion in the long run.

Sorry ! Will use the right name ;-)

I shall take the silence as you guys being ready to move on to the final event.

Early afternoon on the third and final day, bidders and the party are invited to Myrosype’s small estate at the edge of Kerse. To the surprise of the other bidders, Myrosype leads everyone to a small underground stadium in the depths of her estate. Here, she treats them to a variety of athletic and gladiatorial displays performed by experts from distant Iblydos, Myrosype’s homeland.

During a discus hurling competition, one of Myrosype's aides collects the party and brings them upstairs to a small office.

"I'm going to speak plainly", the Aspis agent says as she pours herself a glass of wine. "It's clear to me that your presence is a destabilizing element against my attempts to acquire Alabastrine but I'm not as foolish as some of my peers. Violence against you would end poorly, especially here in Druma, so instead I'd like to make you an offer. Tell me who you've worked to influence and who you’ve convinced to champion bidding in the Luminous Wharf and I will give you a generous supply of gold - in untraceable installments over the next several months, so that your minders will never know that it came from me. In addition, I promise to assist you if you ever run into significant trouble with my organization in the future."

Bulgo smiles.

"Interesting negotiating tactic. I think we would need something much more substantial than a vague promise. A large amount of gold, up front, and silver status for each of us. And when I say large, I mean a specific amount, not a vague one."

Felicitas looks in her pack and smiles.Knew it! No think of flowers, think of sweet songs of the past.
"My dear, I have a counter offer. The consortium is on the decline. Recent successes of the society have managed to slowly and sometimes spectaculary erode your business. The consortium is circling the wagons. Using her best agents. But you can see the writing on the wall. Its huge. Why not switch sides!" Bluff: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (1) + 14 = 15

"Ma'am I, myself, have championed no one in regards the Luminous Wharf, but just so you know, if I had, I wouldn't tell you who. That would be detrimental to my own ends. You and your consortium are a cancer on Golarion, and as with all such diseases, need to be thwarted and wiped out wherever possible. So that said, consider your offer fallen on deaf ears where I'm concerned. I cannot speak for my companions, but I think they've made themselves clear as well...Have you a counter-counter offer to make, now knowing we won't take your money to just go away..."

We are not to sale ! Whatever you think you can buy with your money, it's not us, nor our loyalty to the Pathfinder Society. The Consortium is a thorn in the Pathfinder's foot but it's just that, nothing more. You assault us, killed our comrades and know you want us to deal with you ! And I don't speaks of the numerous people you enslave, the beauty you destroyed or steal from the view of others !
Take back your money. I have no quarrel with you but I have a lot with the organization you represent.

Sense Motive: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8 is there a hidden motive behind her words and invitation ?

Ottalia gets the impression that she's being entirely sincere.

Myrosype frowns slightly but nods gracefully. "I believe you're making a mistake but all I ask is that you consider my offer. Please enjoy the rest of the event."

***

Returning to the event, the party finds an intense wrestling competition underway. The bidders watch with middling interest.

There's no special checks or modifiers during this event. Please make your final influence/discovery check.

Did we find out who was ahead in each area after round 4?

Oh, I think I forgot to do that.

After the fourth event:

"The current high bidders for each district are:"

#1 The Courts of Abstinence: Myrosype
    #2 The Luminous Wharf: Myrosype
    #3 Prophet’s Burg: Cyran Androtus
    #4 Scriptum: Myrosype
    #5 Working End: Irith Nomzamo

Ramenhotep makes his way back to Temel. "Ah, my good man. The bidding is really heating up, isn't it? We over at the Society really do hope you gain control of the Courts. It would be a great deal for both of us, don't you agree? As it so happens, I was just reading a Chronicle last night about a similar situation where the Society gave exclusive business to one particular weapon shop in a city in Andoran in repayment for the man's loyalty to the Society. So there is precedent and I think we could arrange something like that for you if you win."

"I am very impressed. You have shown the same business acumen today as you did in making Alabastrine a great and beautiful city in the past years. You have found out that this other bidder Myrosope is understanding the value of the warf. And I utterly convinced so do you. And those two will be the crown jewel in YOUR alabastrine!"

Even though his lock on the district seems secure, Kel approaches Cyran just to encourage him in his efforts. "You are holding strong on the Prophet's Burg, and I am heartened to see so. Ottilia go to Vayde trying to convince the lord to push for the Scriptium.

Lord Vayde. It would be a shame to not be able to have a place as beautiful as the Scriptium to protect knowledge. I don't think a stranger, even one as powerful and well mannered as Lady Myrosype would be worthy of such blessing. As Shelyn says, beauty is on all things, beauty must be praised and protected. How better than someone who dedicated his ressources to protect Alabastrine and its beauty than yourself ?

Bulgo also out there encouraging Irith.

"It will be fantastic to be able to reap the gain you have worked so hard for over the last few years. And think of the value of all your goods still stored in Working End!"

diplomacy: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14

With the bidding process coming to a close, most of the guests prove too preoccupied to be influenced by the party. Only Felicitas and Ottalia seem to further sway their targets.

Two influence gained with Irith towards the Luminous Wharf. One influence gained with Vayde towards the Scriptum.

As the sun begins to set, Hegio clears his throat prompting the event to fall silent. With the crowd's attention, he reads from his clipboard.

"Bidding has come to a close. The winner via high bid for each district are:"

#1 The Courts of Abstinence: Myrosype
#2 The Luminous Wharf: Irith Nomzamo
    #3 Prophet’s Burg: Cyran Androtus
    #4 Scriptum: Vayde Petronax
    #5 Working End: Irith Nomzamo

Temel's shoulders sag in defeat but everyone else seems more or less pleased with the outcome. With business completed guests quickly begin excusing themselves.

Despite his disappointment, Temel Passad puts the party up for a few additional days. Cyran, grateful for the sage advice, eventually offers a free casting of teleport back to Andoran.

Back in Andoran, Venture-Captain Brackett and the trade prince seek an immediate audience, eager to learn of the results of the bidding. Please to hear that Myrosype has gained so little a foothold in Alabastrine, the venture-captain congratulates the party on a job well done. Without a commanding majority of the city, Myrosype will have to dedicate considerable time and effort to the intricacies of politics within Alabastrine. Additionally, by preventing her from taking control of the Luminous Wharf, the party has protected the city’s port - creating additional opportunities for exploration and profit as trade with Isger continues to grow.

That's it. Thanks for playing guys.

Thanks for running the game GM Feral. It had quite a different feel to it than most - a nice change of pace from dungeon crawling.
