Feast of Ravenmoor [July 2016] (Inactive)

For decades, the tiny village of Ravenmoor has existed quietly on the upper reaches of the Lampblack River, far from the centers of civilization in Varisia. Linked to the outside world only by an overgrown, mostly forgotten trail, the villagers are comfortable with their isolation. Their ways are humble, quaint, and at times odd, and when travelers come, they find the town awkward and unmemorable. Certainly, the lack of a village inn, the oppressive humidity, and the bug-infested moors and swamps that surround the village do little to encourage visitors. When a clerk in the city of Magnimar discovers that, due to a clerical error, the village of Ravenmoor hasn’t paid taxes in years, a tax collector is sent to the distant community to settle accounts with its mayor. When the tax collector fails to return, however, a group of adventurers must travel to the town during its Founders’ Feast celebration to investigate his disappearance. Did he really make off with the taxes for himself, as the villagers suspect? Or did he never make it out of Ravenmoor at all?

Once the chronicles come out if we life, I'll see what I can do. Wish I could sell the bow for a pretty penny, but prestige got that one for me. One must always bring the community together, as per the teachings of Erastil.

I think that's part of the problem. It's for level 4 players. but PFS allows for a range of levels, 2-4 I think. I'm woefully under leveled for this, but I'm having a blast trying to live. :)

While it is harsh, I am loving this adventure.
I can see this being used in high powered games, and still being quite hard.

Unless I'm reading it wrong, it will cost at least 5,000 in material components plus the spellcasting services cost to raise Teena. We might be able to afford a reincarnation. That appears to be 1,000 in material components plus the spellcasting services.

I've never tried to figure out how to bring someone back from the dead before so I might be reading it totally wrong or forgetting about a different spell that might help.

If I recall,it is 5680 GP total, before the restorations come in. I don't have the chart on me, but being 4 pa every negative level is a tad rough as well from the resorations.

Honestly, I doubt at this level that we could afford to pay for a raise dead. Teena has a couple little magical items I could sell and around 1700 in gold on her, but even then it is really doubtful.

There were a couple of times where I was confused about what was going on, and questions I asked in OOC didn't get answered. For example in the last fight I asked if there was a check we could roll to see what the creature was, and to learn if it maybe had DR to something specific. That question wasn't noticed.

I felt bad for Mykel not being able to play for a long time because he was kidnapped, but that may have just been the scenario.

Otherwise good job. I enjoyed it very much.

Someone just ran it or I'd be considering it. I've been looking at some of the re-playable ones to run a my PFS. We're running out of scenarios in the 1-5 range that haven't been run in the last year.
