Once again, rest your head Greentea! We know it's hard and directing a game takes time and effort.
I, for one, will wait as long as it gets because I'm really enjoying it so far.
Aeryicka Hill |
What he said. I know what that's like so just take your time.
Mickey Rios |
Agree.

I had a dream last night I was fighting something called a dinosaur deathclaw. It was a deathclaw with a petrified hide like the leatherbacks here. It was also about 15' tall, weighed about a ton, and had like 6 horns sprouting from its head.
Marcus "Big Papa" Edwards |
Marcus wants to die killing one of those in singular combat.

I was exploring through some kind of business building, and when I got to the roof, this gigantic abomination from Freddy Kruger's nightmares popped out of nowhere. I'm using the combat shotgun with the explosive legendary effect, akd even shooting the weakspot on its belly didn't do jack squat. Then, the roof buckled underneath its weight and we fell down a few floors. Not entirely sure how I survived, but somehow I lived through it. Then I woke up.

Man, how come I don't have awesome badass dreams like that? Last time I had a Fallout dream it was just me wandering around the Capital Wasteland for hours, finding and doing nothing of import.
And then the real kicker was I woke up feeling like I'd been wandering around the Capital Wasteland for hours.
Aeryicka Hill |
Oddly enough, I did wake up with my body really sore...
Aeryicka Hill |
Anybody still hanging around?
Marcus "Big Papa" Edwards |
Always ready, scout, Marcus keeps watch waiting for CO Scruffy's return.
Ad Victoriam.

Been playing the new FO4 Nuka-World dlc, it's awesome.

I got tired of Nick constantly complaining about the Institute. I'm not sure who my favorite companion is, though I do like Piper.

Sorry guys. I've just been absolutely drained creatively. I haven't even been GMing in person, and gave up the reins to that a few months ago too. Sorry. :-/
"Badger" Bloom |
You'll get no hard feelings from me. I've enjoyed the game and certainly appreciate the work you've put into it, but if you're not up for it anymore, then that's how it is.
Would it be okay with you if I used your hard work on the rules to run a game someday? I'm not sure I love Savage Worlds that much but I have ideas on what I could do in the Fallout world.
Aeryicka Hill |
The game has been a lot of fun, and while I hate to see it die, you gotta take care of you.
Spencer Collin |
I'll echo the same thoughts: Take your time and do what you need to do. Take care of yourself and no worries about this. It's been an incredibly fun game while it's lasted, and I'd certainly be sorry to think it's done for good, but other things are more important and I fully understand.

Yeah, I even have a friend in my live group (the current GM of our Legend of the Five Rings game) who looked at my rules set and read some of my GM notes for this game and about exploded with envy wanting me to run it. I told him I'm still too burned out to GM (I was GMing for almost 2 years in person until someone else was finally able to take over GMing).
We're going to finish up L5R and then move on to 5th Edition D&D with another player taking over and then he is poking me to take over again.
Yeah, I don't mind you guys using this stuff for a game. If it's online, just drop some credit for me, but in person - have fun. Maybe mention this awesome guy from Florida came up with it ;-)
(Incidentally, if you like Asian settings, L5R is awesome, and detailed as hell, and the 4th edition system is super easy.)
Aeryicka Hill |
I've got some of the books for it, though haven't really gone through them much. Hoping to Skype into a 5e D&D game here soon with some friends, seems like a good system.
GM Niles |
I really liked the 3.5 port of the L5R setting. There were only a couple books, but I really liked them.

Hey guys.
Been working pretty steady at a decent job for a few weeks now, and on new medication for about a month, so I'm feeling steady enough internally to start online gaming again.
Honestly, I hit a serious roadblock for this game, creatively. I don't really know where to take it, and I kinda lost the luster for it a while back. I don't know if I'll continue here, but if anyone else wants to take over, I really don't mind.
I do have another project I've been working on, digging up an old adventure I've dabbled in on and off for a few years, so that's what I think I'll be posting soon. Thing is, I like you folks as players, so I figured I'd let you all know about my latest inspiration I've been working on at home, to see if any of you are interested to give first shot...
When I get it posted, I'll link you all here, but the jist of it:
It's a mythic adventure set in the Forgotten Realms and Planescape, where the party travels through space, time, and dimensions to collect a series of artifacts to basically prevent the Spellplague. It's inspired heavily by Chrono Trigger, but made to really crank it up to 11. It's supposed to culminate with potential deicide.
It will be a little bit more rail-bound than this game has been, and with a story to drive it forward, rather than entirely the players, but I am looking to interweave party story into it.
I also won't be able to post as much as you all are used to. It will likely be 1-2 a day after I get out of work, because my job is really anal about watching our phone use.
If you're interested, let me know. I'll drop a link here to the recruitment thread when I get it.
Marcus "Big Papa" Edwards |
As much as you are pleased with as as players, I at least am with you as storyteller.
As Sundakan, I will mourn the loss of Marcus, but I will always keep the hope of someday returning.
Regarding your idea, I like Chrono Trigger. I like FR. And I do like space time shenanigans.
So you could say I'm game and his five siblings gamey, gameian, gamerisiel, games and fred.
TheGreenTeaGameMaster |
Good to hear it. Here's my recruitment post.
I'm biting off a pretty big chunk to chew with this one...
GM Niles |
I'd be down like Charlie Brown for this...except I don't really care for Pathfinder as a rule set anymore.
Ah screw it, I like your style GTG. I'll put aside my issues and make something up.
Aeryicka Hill |
I am sad to see this game finally go to the wayside, this has been a lot of fun (and I wanted to see Cray rip out the eyes of something else.)
Spencer Collin |
I'll echo the sentiments of others: I've enjoyed this game a lot and I'm sad to see it go. But I'm also glad to hear you're doing better, and very intrigued by the game idea you've put forward here. I'll definitely check it out.

Hey guys, TGTG here with a different handle. Just didn't feel like I was TGTG anymore after a lot of major life events. It's been just over 2 years since I ran this game, but I'm working on a One Punch Man game and I always enjoyed you guys as players. I figured I'd let you know I was back, and while I lost steam for Fallout, I have a new obsession. I don't know if any of you even still have this threat followed, but if you do, and are interested, let me know in recruitment that you've played with me.
This would be a lot less technical of a game, since I won't be using maps, but more theater of the mind, but the RP level would be about the same as you're used to with me.
Hope life has been treating you well!
