I figure Marcus needed some "help" from EHRK

16 posts in a couple hours? My, you guys, are truly ambitious. I'm wading in now.
Mickey Rios |
Well, I had a suspicion. Here is Hogan Jobs. He was well known around the Vault, as being a good looking, smart, charismatic techie. He was was also a serial killer. Here's Mickey's version of the events.

I think this is a great opportunity for a quiet scene end. 2xp. Also, we can do an interlude at the bar, after the crowd has left, etc, for another 1xp per player who participates.
You can assume you can get a place to sleep for about 5 caps a person, since it's mostly tents.
I'm going to let this be player's roll (to save me time lol) - tragedy (1), victory (2), love (3) or desire (4). Roll 1d4, and go ahead with that in the main thread.
I REALLY hope that EH-RK rolls a 3. I just...I just want to read that story.
Spencer Collin |
Well with 2 XP, Spencer goes up to 31 total and gets an Advance. I think for this one I'll bump his Smarts to a d8. He's been spending more and more time with clever folks, and you have to be smart and tough both to make it far in the Wastes, it seems.
As for the Interlude...
Topic: 1d4 ⇒ 1
Ah, tragedy. Hmm.
Mickey Rios |
31 XP + 2 = 33 XP
interlude: 1d4 ⇒ 1
Tragedy. Yeah, I got just the thing.

Everyone should be at minimum 33 now. I moved the other group up to 31 when they joined in, so you guys at a minimum should be there, too. Even if you missed an interlude earlier...I leveled it out when we merged up.

Interlude!: 1d4 ⇒ 4
Gonna post it later today!

Interlude Goodies: 1d4 ⇒ 3
Huh, actually not sure what to post for this one. Will have something up later today.
EH-RK |
And less Communists!
Marcus "Big Papa" Edwards |
And more tech and gyms!
Vote Senior Knight Marcus: Because he gots brawn AND brain.
Jokes aside, I'm totally down to building Papatopia.
If I ever reach Elderhood, or we manage to put a nice Elder in charge, the Brotherhood could make a good army and/or police... given that we choose the members with good criteria.

Oh, by the way did our bennies reset?

We need to find a way to incorporate the Terran Starship Command mod series for FO3 into our game!

MICKEY IS NOT GETTING PROBED!!
Seriously though, I haven't heard of that mod. What's it about?

One of the best mods for the game IMHO. Takes place after the Zeta DLC, you pick up a distress signal that turns out to be from a bunch of Enclave officers that defected. You pick the up and create your own faction using the spaceship you just acquired and call yourselves the Terran Starship Command. Really great, lots of cool items and quests, including one that takes you all the way to Russia for a special prototype power armor. You even develop your own city deep under water.

I didn't realize I wanted this before I posted it, but yeah. We can totally try to form a new government here. Make a community, expand influence, bring other communities under our wing...we could be the new NCR!
That's pretty much an expansion on what Thomas wanted to do. He wanted to turn the schoolhouse in Yeehaw Junction into the start of a town.
You all still could do that, you just need to find a way to get the water flowing again. Could be simple as bringing someone with a high enough Science score there to check it out. Since Estelle left, you didn't have anyone Science-y enough to do it, but Fitz and Marcus are pretty tech-y guys, and they might be able to figure what's going wrong.
It's whatever direction you wanna go as a team. We can continue onto Tampa as planned, whatever...I'm just kinda reacting to what you all do and where you go, and the routes you take, etc. (The fastest route from Kennedy Space Center to Tampa Bay does go right through Orlando, and I did have plans of Orlando being a festering hole of ghouls that is used as a virtual moat around Kingdom.)

So, for those of us that weren't involved in any of this mess, are we gonna be like character witnesses or something? Otherwise, I'm gonna be like, "What fight?"
Also, how are you gonna handle us being sworn in? "Please place your hand on this Magic Kingdom booklet. Do you swear to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, so help you Walt?"

The main ones involved are Badger, Marcus, Mickey, and EH-RK, as they were there in person and either made a threat or were accused of it.
The rest of you can be character witnesses so you actually can be involved. Thomas should actually get to BE an attorney now, instead of simply claiming to be an Esquire.
It's not going to be a legit American courtroom experience. Basically the Magister decides what happens to you, not a jury of peers. This isn't America...well...geographically it is, but that country and it's laws no longer exist, and really this guy can just not like you and down you go.
I think it's fitting I made its title Donald. Who better than Disney's grumpy, mean spirited, but ultimately when the chips hit the table good guy duck?
Aeryicka Hill |
Darn, I kinda like my swearing-in idea.
"Badger" Bloom |
Listen, the Wasteland isn't sending their best here. They're sending loose cannon BoS knights, they're sending thieves with silly nicknames, they're sending deviants with ghoul fetishes. Some of them, I imagine, might be decent people.
Aeryicka Hill |
1 person marked this as a favorite. |
As long as it ain't Donald Trump I'm happy.
thegreenteagamer |
The big three (Minnie, Donald, Goofy) are AI based on amalgamations of each character's personalities across movies and TV shows, so...
...pretty much Donald Duck.
Mickey is obviously going to be the thawed out head of Walt Disney.
EH-RK |
Statement: I have only recently met the Human Badger Bloom. I have no evidence that he is a communist...yet
Marcus "Big Papa" Edwards |
Wait... how do you bribe an AI?
"Psst psst. Let my friend leave and I'll give you a whole terabyte!"
Mickey Rios |
Okay, Badger's posts are cracking me up. Well done.
Marcus "Big Papa" Edwards |
Completely agree with Mickey, Badger's gonna die soon... Papa IS the funny one, and he liked it that way.
thegreenteagamer |
Rufus was the funny one. He is missed. I haven't seen a comment about VD or prostitution in months, and it's making me miss him.
Few more hours to get your interludes in. Even Badger could do one in his own memory if he wants.
Thomas Roland |
Okay, Wednesdays are bad for me so I guess it's time to hop on and see how OH HOLY HELL BALLS 80 F+!+ING POSTS WHAT THE F@%~ING HELL PEOPLE SRSLY SOMEONE TAKE A F+$$ING NAP WHY DON'T YOU????!?!?!?!!!?!?!11?!?!1#@?21341?!???eleven!!???!?/ =)
Okay, yeah, well, I best get Thomas all up in dis hizzy, eh? =P
Heh. It seems like allll our sins are coming back to haunt us. Didn't actually think that TGTG knew what "esquire" actually meant. ^_^
Also, 1d4 ⇒ 3 Love it is!
(oh dear. Do I go the obvious route?)
thegreenteagamer |
I should have an update coming soon.
Thinking about how to run the trial. I think it'll come down to Thomas as lawyer rolls persuasion, the opposing lawyer rolls persuasion. Badger (and Mickey, EH-RK, and Papa as well, though the evidence against them is far less and mostly threatening or being in the wrong place) get a luck roll with a bonus or penalty based on how many successes Thomas has vs the opposing lawyer.
So say Thomas rolls a 12 - that's 3 successes, and the opposing lawyer gets an 8 - that's 2 successes taken away...Badger would then roll luck at +1.
Evidence against him, sadly, will probably start him with a penalty.
I'm still working the bugs out.

You do realize if you get thrown into the Petting Zoo, it won't be with your equipment, right?
Marcus "Big Papa" Edwards |
Where you see "Most probably Dying Awfully at the Claws of Muttbeasts" I see "Marcus builds himself a badass claymore out of Muttlephants bones".
But yes, it doesn't sound as good as say, a Vacation on Kingdom with rides on Space Mountain and burgers for everybody.
thegreenteagamer |
Lots of options on the table:
1. Cazador nest for eggs for cash and a new PipBoy.
2. Continue on to Tampa to hunt the mesmetron.
3. Vault mutant hunting.
4. Saint Augustine treasure hunt (was mentioned a long while back)
5. See if you can find Vault 2 in Miami (was mentioned by one of you guys a looooong time back)
6. Rebuild the school into a town.
7. Track down Steve and Hogan.
8. Try to find more info about The Horde (all you know is when they mentioned relaying to the base they headed north).
9. Track down slavers' guild (mentioned a while back) - you are pretty sure they're in Tampa
10. Anything else you can think of I might have forgot or you just wanna do.
Aeryicka Hill |
Event: 1d10 ⇒ 5
Let's go track down Vault 2!
Sundakan |
I reaaaally don't feel like dealing with Mass Combat rules right now, so let's still hold off on that #3.
I don't see any point in doing #2, they kicked us out and we'd have to buy a lot of anti-radiation gear.Just to get there and tell them...what? "Hey yo we're still alive I guess, open the door so we can be overpopulated again."
We keep getting sidetracked off this Mesmetron quest and I want to finally get it done. But the currently time-sensitive one is murdering the shit out of Steve and Hogan, so let's do that and get on towards Tampa again, is my vote.
thegreenteagamer |
Seems, based on Spencer, Badger, EH-RK, and Fitz's replies, there's a big desire to go after Hogan and Steve, so I'll get to that as the assumed plan.
Also, I'm genuinely surprised nobody thought of Petey for the job.
Mickey Rios |
My last post was meant to go before the DM's.
Steve's a dick, but that doesn't necessarily mean we need to kill him. But Hogan gots to go.
EDIT: Oh, GM, how much were the interludes worth?
