Female Half-Elf (Varisian) Rogue 1

Happy Birthday Wolfy!

Wrath and Khaladon:

Spoiler:
I would be fine with that! Maybe I just started following her around after being let go from the airship she worked on?

I'm still trying to get through with month-end, but I will have my details up as soon as I can. Sorry.... Again... :(

Don't knock yourself out trying to get a charcter done Val :) I'll start this when people are ready.

A note on languages.

In the Sun Empire, the languages were cosmopolitan, pretty much everything was spoken in this world, including the dead languages of Azlanit and Ancient Elven. The native tongue was a mishmash pidgin of the two nationalities that lived here. Officialyy known as Khelekesh, this is more commonly referred to as Sun Speak.

The Ulfen tribes speak in Lyrical lanquage that is very hard to learn. Their alphabet is similar to dwarven but when the Ulfen speak, they have a lilting cadence to their words, almost a chant in everything they say. This is known simply as Ulfen, though some call it Chant.

Varisians speak Varisian. It is a fast language, spoken with passion and renowned as one of the best languages to swear for the great feeling one can place into the words. An argument between two varisians is often very entertaining to watch, even if you don't know the language for the sheer pace at which it moves and the seemingly endless hand waving and gesturing that accompanies it.

The Tien speak a language of changing infelction and tone. It is a sing song language with single words having multiple connotations depending on teh inflections you place in the sentence structure. Unlike Ulfen, there is no apparent rythm or cadence to the language when spoken, so it can at times sound musical and at others seem almost dischordant. This is simply known as Tien.

Tribal cultures across the world have developed their own languages due to isolation. There is no fixed language for them, and practically every tribe or tribal grouping has a unique set of words. If you want to choose some form of tribal language assume you are proficient in one, and can make do in others of a similar nature. The general language would be chosen from - Mwangi Pidgin, Khellid, Halfling (plains), Halfling (mounian tribes). Thos represents four major areas of similar languages.

Chelaxian is spoken in the northern continent. It is a nasal language but is quite beautiful to hear. A chelaxian accent applied to other languages often sounds more romantic and is used by poets and lovers alike to increase a state of arousal in their audiences.

Common exists and is known by almost everyone. However it is a trade language, so some concepts just will not be able to get communicated through common.

The most widely spoken languages throughout the world are Sun Speak and Varisian. Either of those as a second language would see most people through.

Of course all the other languages from the core books are present (Abyssal, Auran etc).

Cheers

Many Happy Returns French Wolf : ) Hope it was great.

Spoiler:

Wrath's idea sounds like a good one to me. A couple of ideas that just popped into my head:
Maybe the two happened to be traveling the same road and happened upon and band of merchants being waylaid by some highway men or were in a tavern and help each other when a fight broke out. Or maybe they'd both been in the same tavern and the fight broke out because of racism towards them. Or maybe your rogue tried to pick Bo-Dan's pocket and, catching her in the act, Bo-Dan grappled her too the ground and, startling to both of them, a spark was lit....

I don't know how you feel about the possibility of any romance between the two of them and yea or nay are both fine with me. But Bo-Dan Does prefer women (well, actually she's yet to have had Any kind of intimate or carnal relations with anyone...well, at least not voluntarily...) It came as a complete surprise to me-and perhaps to her as well-when she immediately feel in love with the other half-elf in the game the first time she saw her. You can track the short, somewhat sweet and unfortunately cut-off 'love story' HERE if you like. ) and as Bo-Dan is Lawful and I'm imagining that your rogue will be chaotic it should make for an interesting friendship and/or relationship anyway = )

Well these are just some quick ideas, I'm sure you'll have many more. So lets put our heads together and come up with something great eh? ;-)

Spoiler:

I think that all sounds great. The personal development stuff is great storytelling and I think the camaign trait compliments the one I already have. I think the +1 to spell craft works(offsets the -1 from not being all that bright). What do you think of this for the text and should it also be +1 to knowlegde religion?

Renewed Faith - Through the trials and tribulations of life you've begun to fathom a pattern to the events you experience. Your understanding of this pattern has led to a firm belief in a higher power's greater plan for your life. This has renewed your faith in your deity, and you look forward to accomplishing whatever plans the creator has for you. You gain a +1 to spellcraft checks when casting a divine spell.

Interesting playing hig wisdom low intelligence, I figure not very educated or the best strategist but insightful and sometimes she just "gets it".

Spoiler:

Your wording sounds good to me. I'm happy for the knowledge religion as well, let's make it an insight bonus for that one (given your low intelligence). Try to have it sound like the ideas just come to you when making those knowledge religion checks, almost like your god's whispering advice in your ear.

I'm actually excited someone took a dwarf. I have some very definite ideas for dwarves in this game, whereas a number of the other races are still a bit nebulous for me at the moment. The joys of creating a world on th fly :)

Spoiler:

I'm struggling to come up with a trait for your warlock. I love the experimental storyline you wrote so I'm trying to tie something into that. I was thinking of a bonus power, maybe a detect alignment type of thing thanks to all the blood types pumped through your body. I also tossed around the concept of some bonus knowledge skills thanks to a partial graft of a second "soul" to your body, perhaps a split personality type of thing or a co inhabited tortured soul. There's also an option of a bonus to saves (probably fortitude) thanks to your body getting toughned by all the experiments done to it.

Can you have a think about it and let me know which of those options you'd prefer. If you feel you can write one that's suitable, go for it.

Wrath can you give some info on the shifter or a link to the info? I played an ebberon campaign years ago but do not have the book. Sounds usefull since I am thinking on the barbarian and if I go with the shifter, at least what I understand, could be usefull for a viking flavor. Also as starting as Ulfen would I get this language free

The Exchange

M

Woodraven,

Will post the shifter suff later. And yes on the Ulfen language for free. I'll spoiler tag the info for you, including some of the eberron feats that go with it. Barbarian sounds like a good choice given our party compositiion so far. It brings a big hitter into the mix nicely, and I'm sure our monk will appreciate teh backup in the front ranks.

A note to everyone else. Your race also gives you the language. Half elves can choose elven if they were raised in elven communities or had access to some other means of learning that language. Otherwise they choose the language of their "other half". Half orcs are a similar thing. Halflings can chooose one fo teh barbarian dialects listed above, or if a city born halfling, the native language of that region.

Everyone gets common, but remember that some things can't be done in common (complex negotiations for example) as it is a trade tongue more than a proper language. Accents also mess that language up occasionally. Not sure how I'm going to play that out, but I'll give it a try :)

Cheers

male *Last time I checked* half dwarf/half orc student 14/ jack of all trades 3/ welder 4/ electrician 8

thanks for getting back to me on that info Wrath. I will start up a background and wait for the shifter info to finaly round out charactr creation such as final abilities and so forth. Also in the clan nature of the Ulfen are they more totemic or traditional style viking types?

The Exchange

M

Woodraven

Spoiler:

Ulfen are totemic, and their clan names follow suit (bear clan, wolf clan, hydra clan etc). Feel free to create a clan name and I'll place them appropriately. They have some Lycanthropic blood dating back nearly 2000 years now. Sometimes it shows up in the form of a Shifter, that rare breed that can take on some bestial abilities but maintain their human control. Some of the more feral clans have real Lycanthropes in them. The Ulfen worship these people as touched by the gods, rather than cursed. They will cature and feed slaves to the Lyanth in order to satisfy their urges when the moon time is upon them.

Note that they are totem worshippers, but these totems are mostly aspects of the god Gozreh or the god of beasts (whose name i cant remember and havn't got book nearby.)

Ok shifter info. I've Pathfindered it all abit to better bring them into alignment with other races.

- +2 Dex, +2 Wisdom, -2 Intelligence.
- While thay are Ulfen in appearenec, they are actually a shapechanger subtype of humanoid. Your race is actually shifter rather than Ulfen.
- Medium size
- Base land speed 30feet
- Shifting (Su) Once per day a shifter can enter a bestial state as a free action. This lasts for a number of rounds equal to 3+ con modifier. Choose one of the traits below, this is what manifests when you shift.
1. Beasthide (+2 to con when shifting, +2 bonus to natural armour)

2. Longtooth (+2 strength, grow a face of your totemic animal and gain a bite attack attack. Counts as a natural weapon dealing d6 damage + 1 for every four charater levels). You can use this as a seconday wepon while wielding other wepons but at a -5 penalty as per rules for wielding two weapons.) The shifter multiattack feat allows you to use this with your strength mod for damage and drops the to hit modifier to -2)

3.Cliffwalk - (+2 dex, gain a climb speed of 20 feet)

4. Razorclaws (+2 strength. Your hands grow long claws that casue d4 damage as a natural weapon +1 per four levels. You can attack once with a standard action, or use both as a full round action at no to hit penalty. You can only attack with each claw once. You can use a clawed hand as a light off hand weapon for a -2 penalty to all attacks as a full round action if wielding another weapon. The shifter multi attack feat lets you add strength mod to damage and drops the to hit mod to 0 for off hand attacks.

5. Longstrider (+2 to dex, bonus +10 feet to your move rate)

6. Wildhunt (+2 con, gain the scent ability and the ability to track by smell.)

- Low light vision

- +2 racial bonus to accrobatics and climb checks.

- Favoured class , Ranger and Barbarian.

I'll do the feats up tomorrow. Have to do the dad thing now, but that should be enough for you to go on.

Cheers

The Exchange

M

Woodraven, here's the feats specific for shifters from the Eberron setting

Spoiler:

Shifter Elite - Select the one appropriate for your shifter ability.
1. Beasthide - Natural armour increase to +4
2. Cliffwalker -Climb speed increases by 10 feet
3. Longstride - Base land speed increases by 10ft while shifting

Great bite - Prereq. Longtooth trait, Bab +6. Improve critical multiplier to x3

Great Rend - Prereq. Razor claws, BAB +4. Do an additional d4+1/2 str mod when both claw attacks hit.

Extra Shifter trait - Must have two other shifter feats first. Select a second shifter trait from the shifter races section. A second trait allows you to shift twice a day and increases the duration of your your shifting to 5 + con mod rounds.

Healing Factor - Prereq Con 13. When you end a shift, you imediately heal a number of hit points equal to character level x con mod.

Shifter defense - Prereq two other shifter feats. Gain DR 2/silver while shifting

Geater shifting defense - Prereq, Shifter defense, three other shifter feats. Gain DR 4/silver when shifting

Shifter ferocity - Prereq wis 13. Fight without penalty while disabled or dying (up to - 10 hp)

Shifter Multiattack - Longtooth or razor claw. BAB +6. Reduce the secondary attack penalty for your natural weapon to -2 for bite attack, or 0 for claw attack.

Shifter accrobatics - Longstride or cliffwalk trait, also must have 4 ranks in accrobatics. Gain a bonus to accrobatics equal twice your number of shifter feats while shifting.

Shifter magnetism - You gain a bonus to handle animal, intimidate and wild empathy checks equal to the number of shifter traits you have. Bonus applies even when not shifting.

Shifter Stealth - Longstride or wildhunt ability, 4 ranks in stealth. When shifting you gain a bonus to stealth eqal to twice teh number of shifter feats you have.

That's all the feats I could find that I wanted in the game. I modified some fo them to make them more useful to a pathfinder setting, and for a game that is going to have a fair amount of dangerous combat. I'd recomend the healing factor at least as a feat for a Barbarian, but it's your character. It always reminded me of Wolverine when I read through these things :)

Cheers

I'm looking forward to swearing in Varisian now. :)

Khal:

Spoiler:
I really like the idea of Paera getting busted trying to steal from Bo-Dan, and her trying to get on the monk's good side really quick to avoid getting turned in to the law(or beaten up!). :) I can see her growing into a relationship with Bo-Dan as well, though she might not be aware of it while it's happening. I'm still thinking her personality though...

And yeah, Paera's definitely going to be chaotic(good). She's fickle at times, doesn't quite get discipline, and has a hard time thinking through the consequences of her action. But she wouldn't do something she knew would hurt someone.

French Wolf, Paera's going to be bugging you for "rides" once you hit level 9. ;)

Spoiler:
the main concept I was thinking of when I read this plus my love for marvel, and the new wolverine movie I am thinking more along the lines of a good version of Sabertooth:)or at least neutral. just trying to figure what animal or totem I am aiming for either a great cat or would they have knowledge of sapertooth tigers?

The Exchange

M

Woodraven,

Spoiler:

The Khellid in the far north ride big cats called Kaila that are similar to sabre tooth tigres, only more lion like in appearence. The Ulfen would have some mountain cats that get very big that might make good totem animals. The far northern reaches have big Fjords and Glaciers with some large mammals living ont hem. Mammoth and herds of bison and caribu live on these regions and they always attract plenty of predators. If you want a big cat totem go for it. Sabre tooth is fine really. It would be good if you could come up with an Ulfen name for it, as well as the common name. Something like the Cacathchewaii or something similar. I'll look up some nordic words for you if you like and see if anything sounds good.

Wrath if you could find some nordic words to fit a general description that would be very appriciated.

For a common name since it is a very restrictive language I was thinking along the lines of striped daggertooth. very simple so it doesn't get lost in translation.

Nice work so far Woodraven, found some icelandic words for you to use at times if you'd like.

Spoiler:

Cat = Kottur,
Yes - Ja
No = nei
Thankyou = Takk
Please = Takk Fyrir
large = mikil/stor

So large cat would be Mikil kottur, or kottur stor or some other derivative. Have a play around with it and see what you can come up with

Also found this site for you if you ever want to try and throw some other words at us Translation web page

Liked your history and description. Should be fun when you get back north :)

I am currently in school and couldn't get into German 1 this upcoming semester but am interested in learning some of the language before I get into it and this could help out since the northern part of Germany is near the primary base of the nordic history?

Danke schön Wrath

Spoiler:

*edit* what do you think we could do for a campaign trait, for my character? I would eventualy like to do something almost unarmed for combat in the long run. I plan on getting shifter ferocity later as well as second shifter trait for wild hunt. Maybe I will get a couple fighter levels for some bonus combat feats like inproved unarmed strike and maybe toughness. I want to pull off the feral hunter kind of look if/when we get back to the north.

The Exchange

Woodraven

Spoiler:

I was thinking along the lines of something intimidating, almost unslettling about you. Driven by your lust for vengence and your animlaistic nature. Probably a bonus to intimidate, or maybe use intimidate as a swift action when shifting and raging. This means you could unsettle opponents more in combat situations.

So I figure either a flat +1 to intimidate checks or the swift intimidate when shifting. What do you think?

Not sure about other things. You could go for a hatred against other Ulfen clans, but not sure how often that will pop up. I could also go for a bonus to survival skills, particularly tracking given your objective to avenge the clan.

Let me know. Remembering these traits are meant to be about half as powerful as a feat. I struggle to get the balance right between useful and not overpowered :)

Well, two characters complete and most others on the way.

How does everyone feel about trying to get characters at least combat ready by Sunday?

I'd like to kick off the game thread about then and its most likely going to start with a bang.

If not all background stuff is sorted I can live with that, and you may get a better feel for your characters as we progress anyway. I promise you that your characters will develop more in background stuff as we go, I'm fond of dropping backstory into games.

I've developed some campaign traits for characters but still working on others. This is also something we can work on in the first week or so of gaming.

If that timeline is too tight, please let me know and I'll hold off a little longer. Particularly Val and TN, as you both have other commitments or technical issues you've mentioned already.

Wrath

Spoiler:

knowing my charisma isn't so hot, but knowing the apparent disfiguration of my physical appearance I would like the +1 flat to intimidate since right now my shifting is only 1/day at 5 rounds total and that is when the beast comes out. heh reminds me of a quote "He who makes a beast out of himself gets rid of the pain of being a man" gotta love Hunter S. Thompson :) as for the other stuff I was just letting you know where I want to go with this character because with a monk in the party this will get pretty interesting plus I could at least think of a reason in game to really get improved unarmed strike. ah I digress. Back to the subject at hand the whole idea I think would be better put in perspective take the comic book villian/character Sabertooth would that not make you cringe a little, plus my character is 6'6" and 220 pounds of lean muscle. I think that would be scary don't you. as for a name something like
Totemic Devotion: Due to tribal nature and devotion to the tribal animal you altered you body's apperance to resemble the animal's spirit. This in nature is what most civilized people would only count as disfigurement and would only send revoulsion through their spirits. Thus, granting a + 1 to intimidate (place condition here (while shifting or always active))

Also as for starting sunday I can have all my combat stuff up and gear purchased by then so count me in.

Hey FW if your character has 14 str your light load is 58 lbs. Or did you forget to set it at 8. Just making sure you don't get stuck with the wrong encumbrance number and loose out on your mobility.

I should be good for Sunday. I'm determined to get this done soon now!

I need to check with everyone though, are you guys okay with a 10 Int or 10 Wis rogue? I'm leaning towards a low wisdom score, since Paera's probably not as sensible as she should be. I just wanted to check in case I was counted on to be Perception Girl.

I agree on wisdom as a dump stat. Smart, but not real wise. Impetuous almost :)

Plus, with the bonus skill points you get and the fact perception is a class skill for you, if you decide to take it then a low wisdom is not going to be that big an issue in the long run.

Your will saves may suffer though :).

On the topic of your character, I'll try and come up with a campaign trait for her when I get some background on her.

Having also read the plan from you and Khaladon about your characters, I'll write up a little backstory for the two of you introducing how you met and why you might be travelling together. Will post sometime tonight hopefully.

Spoiler:
The backstory I have for certain is that she was found as an infant by Varisian gypsies. She never knew her parents, though over the years she has kind of convinced herself that they must have loved her and that something terrible must have happened for her to be abandoned like that.

She was raised by the Varisians who found her, and has never had a place she could call home her entire life; she's spent the entirety of it travelling, and while she does have the wanderlust pretty bad, she does ache a bit for a place to call home. Or at least a group of people to call that, since she was more or less asked to leave by the people who took her in when she turned out to be a source of trouble for them(either because of her race, because she seemed to be bad luck, or because of her foolhardy behavior).

She lies all the time about her parents, telling highly romanticized and imagined stories about them. She might halfway believe a few of them.

I always enjoy reading your character backgrounds Val, they make me smile. Plenty of stuff in there for me to introduce at a later stage too.

How's this for a trait
Experienced Traveller - Through sheer wanderlust, and often due to circumstance, you have managed to travel most of the two continents. The knowledge you have picked up from these travels is almost scary, and obscure facts about local regions seem to just spring into your head unbidden at times. Gain a +1 bonus to Knowledge (local) skill checks. Knowledge local becomes a class skill for you and you can use it for checks against some pretty obscure things.

The last part I'll be responsible for letting you in on. Occasionally I'll be able to get you to roll on stuff like military units, old artefacts etc. It will kind of work like a bardic knowledge, but far less versatile. I think knowledge (local) is already a class skill but a bonus is always handy.

Alternatively I could try to write something about your romaticised and upbeat idea from your past, something like indomitable spirit - despite all that life has thrown your way, you maintain a positive and happy outlook on the world. Gain a +1 to saves vs effects that would leave you shaken or feared.

That last one doesn't gel as well but I don't know how else to write in a game mechanic for your outlook on life.

If you can think of anything else you'd like, have a go and I'll let you know.

Cheers

Wrath:

Spoiler:
Thanks! And wow, it's hard to choose between those two. I really like the idea of both.

I can take Experienced Traveller though, since it'll be less work for ya and it's of more use to everyone else(it also gives me an excuse to know about those pteranodaon riders. ;)

I'll keep the upbeat and positive attitude though! I just won't be getting a bonus for it. :p

Ok, I've roughly drafted the rest of my character "on paper", and will put it up my profile tonight. Sorry for the delay... work hasn't stepped below "hectic" for weeks, and it starts to grind into the rest of my life rather significantly.

No worries TN. I understand how that works, it was the reason I had to drop out of PbP completely last year for a while.

Once we get this running it will slow down though, all the creation stuff is always hectic I find. After that, all you guys need worry about is one post a day :)

Cheers

Khaladon,

Spoiler:
havn't forgotten about you, still trying to work out a campaign triat. Will look over some of the campaign traits from the AP's and see if I can wrangle something that way.

Mark and Woodraven,

Spoiler:
I'm thinking of tying your characters together with a bit of backstory, would you both be ok with this?

French Wolf

Spoiler:

I was going to try and tie your character to some of the others with a source dream. Possibly giving you a next step guide on your path. Is that ok by you or is it too heavy handed. I want the source path to weave it's way into the game without me being overly ham handed in its use, so feel free to tell me if I'm ever getting too carried away with it.

Over the next couple of days I'm going to post some story elements in this thread to get you to the point where the game starts. I'll spoiler tab them, but if you aren't worried about others reading your stuff, let them know.

cheers

Wrath that would be fine with me.

Female Half-Elf (Varisian) Rogue 1

Rough stats are up for approval! (need to do the gold math again)

Khaladon,

Spoiler:

I checked over the template you sent me. Not many changes. One big change was the fact that the base attack progression is the same as for a fighter. Under pathfinder that means you'd have d10hp instead of d8. I'm happy for you to keep the attack progression, but would still like to keep you at d8 hit points at this stage.

Some things your template doesn't recieve - The new ki pool abilities, maneuvre mastery, some bonus feats at higher level. Maneuver mastery isn't an issue since you are full bab anyway. Bonus feats at higher levels won't effect you for a while to come yet (level 14 was the first one I noticed that was different. Ki pool can make a difference, so I'd rather see you use those. I'd like to know what the kicks are as they replace some bonus feats I believe.

One thing to note please, if the pathfinder version comes out and I like it better in terms of balance, I'm probably going to ask you to convert over. It comes out in August I think. We'll cross that bridge when we come to it though, and I don't think it will be an issue, because I think we agree on most points about the monk. I certainly think it's a class that should be a full BAB class.

Let me know your thoughts.

Also, still drawing a blank for your campaign trait. Will try tomorrow. Off to see Star Trek now :)

cheers

Woodraven

Spoiler:

I noticed your rage power is based off the old round + con model. Are you using this instead of the rage point system from beta? I believe Jason Buhlman released a modified rage system for Barbarians in one of the beta threads. It was pretty good. I'll try and track it down for you if you like (or are you already using it?)

Cheers

Val

Spoiler:

I know you're not finished yet, but I noticed your short bow does d6+1 damag. Is it a mighty composite bow? If not is should only be d6 damage I believe. If I'm wrong, let me know.
Cheers

Sunday morning GMT then.

As for the other thing DM Wrath

Spoiler:
I would like that dream idea to revolve around the following in some way, the myriad of choices that each person has, the need for peace and non-violence over aggression, and the air of mystery that Milhar doesn't really know what he is doing or why. Hows that?

If you could track down the thread or point me in the right direction that would be appreciated so I can keep track of that. I could use the rage point system if you think it would be easier.

FW this is going to be interesting between our characters

Fine by me.

Here's the updated Barbarian

Spoiler:

Jason Bulmahn, Lead Designer wrote:
Rage (Ex): A barbarian can call upon inner reserves of strength and ferocity, granting her additional combat prowess. Starting at 1st level, a barbarian can rage for a number of rounds per day equal to 4 + her Constitution modifier. At each level after 1st, she can rage for 2 additional rounds. Temporary increases to Constitution, such as those gained from rage and spells like bear’s endurance, do not increase the total number of rounds that a barbarian can rage per day. A barbarian can enter rage as a free action. The total number of rounds of rage per day are renewed after resting for 8 hours, although these hours do not need to be consecutive.

While in rage, a barbarian gains a +4 bonus to her Strength and Constitution, as well as a +2 morale bonus on Will saves. In addition, she takes a –2 penalty to Armor Class. The increase to Constitution grants the barbarian 2 hit points per Hit Dice, but these disappear when the rage ends and are not lost first like temporary hit points. While in rage, a barbarian cannot use any Charisma-, Dexterity-, or Intelligence-based skills (except Acrobatics, Fly, Intimidate, and Ride) or any ability that requires patience or concentration.

A barbarian can end her rage as a free action and is fatigued after rage for a number of rounds equal to 2 times the number of rounds spent in the rage. A barbarian cannot enter a new rage while fatigued but can otherwise enter rage multiple times during a single encounter or combat.

Rage Powers: As a barbarian gains experience, she learns to harness her rage in new ways. Starting at 2nd level, a barbarian gains one rage power. She gains an additional rage power for every two levels of barbarian attained after 2nd level. A barbarian can use her rage powers only while raging, and some of these powers are always active. Unless otherwise noted, a barbarian cannot select an individual power more than once. A barbarian can use the same power more than once during an individual rage. Unless otherwise noted, these abilities are swift actions that must be performed on the barbarian’s turn.

Animal Fury (Ex): The barbarian may make a bite attack using her full base attack bonus plus her Strength modifier. If the bite hits, it deals 1d6 points of damage (assuming the barbarian is Medium; 1d4 points of damage if Small) plus one half the barbarian’s Strength modifier. A barbarian can use this power while grappled. If the bite attack hits, any grapple checks made against the target this round are at a +2 bonus.

Clear Mind (Su): A barbarian may reroll a failed Will save. This power is used as an immediate action after the save is failed. The barbarian must take the second result, even if it is worse. A barbarian must be at least 8th level before selecting this power.

Increased Damage Reduction (Ex): The barbarian’s damage reduction increases by 1/—. This increase is always active while the barbarian is raging. A barbarian can select this rage power up to three times. Its effects stack. A barbarian must be at least 8th level before selecting this power.

Elemental Rage (Su): All of the barbarian’s attacks deal an additional 1d6 points of energy damage for 1 round. The energy type must be acid, cold, electricity, or fire. This energy damage does not stack with energy damage dealt by special weapon abilities if it is of the same type. A barbarian must be at least 12th level before selecting this power.

Guarded Stance (Ex): The barbarian gains a +1 dodge bonus to her Armor Class against melee attacks for one round. This bonus increases by +1 for every 6 levels the barbarian has attained.

Intimidating Glare (Ex): The barbarian can make an Intimidate check against one adjacent foe. If the barbarian successfully demoralizes her opponent, the foe is shaken for 1d4 rounds +1 round for 5 points she exceeds the DC.

Knockback (Ex): The barbarian can make one free bull rush attempt against one target hit in melee this round. The barbarian does not need to move back with the target if successful. This power is used as an immediate action after the attack roll is made.

Low-Light Vision (Ex): The barbarian’s senses sharpen and she gains low-light vision while raging.

Mighty Swing (Ex): The barbarian automatically confirms a critical hit. This power is used as an immediate action once a critical threat has been determined. A barbarian must be at least 12th level before selecting this power.

Moment of Clarity (Ex): The barbarian does not gain any benefits or take any of the penalties from rage for 1 round. This includes the penalty to Armor Class and the restriction on what actions can be performed. This round still counts against her total number of rounds of rage per day. This power can only be used once per minute.

Night Vision (Ex): The barbarian’s senses grow incredibly sharp while raging and she gains darkvision 60 feet for 1 round. A barbarian must have low-light vision as a rage power or a racial trait to select this rage power.

Powerful Blow (Ex): The barbarian gains a +1 bonus to a single damage roll. This bonus increases by +1 for every 6 levels the barbarian has attained. This power is used as a swift action before the roll to hit is made.

Quick Reflexes (Ex): The barbarian can make an additional attack of opportunity above the normal limit of one per round. This power is used as an immediate action when an opponent takes an action that provokes an attack of opportunity.

Renewed Vigor (Su): As a standard action, the barbarian heals 1d8 points of damage + her Constitution modifier. For every four levels the barbarian has attained above 4th, this amount of damage healed increases by 1d8, to a maximum of 5d8 at 20th level. A barbarian must be at least 4th level before selecting this power. This power can only be used once per day.

Rolling Dodge (Ex): The barbarian gains a +1 dodge bonus to her Armor Class against ranged attacks for 1 round. This bonus increases by +1 for every 6 levels the barbarian has attained.

Roused Anger (Ex): The barbarian may enter a rage even if fatigued. Once this rage ends, the barbarian is exhausted for a number of minutes equal to the number of rounds spent raging.

Strength Surge (Ex): The barbarian adds her barbarian level on one Strength check or combat maneuver check, or to her combat maneuver bonus when an opponent attempts a maneuver against her. This power is used as an immediate action. Once used, this power cannot be used again for 1 minute.

Surprise Accuracy (Ex): The barbarian gains a +1 morale bonus on one attack roll. This bonus increases by +1 for every 6 levels the barbarian has attained. This power is used as a swift action before the roll to hit is made.

Swift Foot (Ex): The barbarian gains a 5-foot enhancement bonus to her speed. This increase is always active while the barbarian is raging. A barbarian can select this rage power up to three times. Its effects stack.

Terrifying Howl (Su): The barbarian unleashes a terrifying howl as a standard action. All shaken enemies within 30 feet must make a Will save (DC equal to 10 + 1/2 the barbarian’s level + the barbarian’s Strength modifier) or be panicked for 1d4+1 rounds. Once an enemy has made a save versus terrifying howl (successful or not) it is immune to this power for 24 hours. A barbarian must have the intimidating glare rage power to select this rage power. A barbarian must be at least 8th level before selecting this power.

Unexpected Strike (Ex): The barbarian can make a free attack, at her highest attack bonus, against a foe that moves adjacent to the barbarian. Using this power is an immediate action that counts as an attack of opportunity. Once used, this power cannot be used again for 1 minute. A barbarian must be at least 8th level before selecting this power.

I was using that info but thought of simplifying the rage in a quick info. When I am at work I use pfogc.com for quick reference since I don't have access to the pdf while there.

Wrath

Spoiler:

I kind of like he idea of the two misplaced northerners away from home and kin making a connection. Outsiders tend to stick together, especially when there is battle and action involved. Forges deep bonds rather quickly.
