No worries, I got TL stuff going on with kitchen remodel and work. Will post update tomorrow after work, sorry for delay :)

Abilities:

Male Dwarf Cleric 3 (Divine Strategist)

Will update my character info so that posts will show the Cleric archetype. Then you have a quick reference to the abilities it gives :)

Male Human Witch (Spirits Patron) / 3

Out of town this weekend, so wont be able to post much

I will not if need be...and I know the general tactic is Evil Eye so :)

Male Orc Two Handed Fighter 2 ((HP 11/16))

I am out of commission for about a week, due to extreme pain (impacted wisdom teeth with cavities). Here's hoping for a Wednesday extraction!

Vitals:

Male Dwarf Cleric 3 (Divine Strategist)

Good luck. Wisdom teeth can be a pain.

Female Halfling Bard 2/Rogue 1

Remember to ice a lot, especially early on. It can save a lot of pain. Good luck!

I still gotta get my wisdom yanked, adn i am going on 32 lol...luckily they are all exposed and not jacked up...just a matter of finding the time off of work to get it done...

feel better man, I will bot if needed...you're fairly easy lol Power Attack and kill all in sight :)

Male Orc Two Handed Fighter 2 ((HP 11/16))

Ice is actually causing pain this time around. I have to put heat on it to control the pain. With the cold front that came here a few days ago, I've been in agony.

Female Halfling Bard 2/Rogue 1

20 minutes on, 20 minutes off. The icing is only super-important right in the beginning, if you don't use it enough you'll look like a fat chipmunk.

Male Orc Two Handed Fighter 2 ((HP 11/16))

Well, they'll be out tomorrow. :P 8:45 surgery.

Female Halfling Bard 2/Rogue 1

Trust me, ice a lot in the beginning. Don't let yourself fall asleep either, 20 minutes on 20 minutes off will save you a lot of pain later on.

Hey, sorry I haven't been on for a while. The wife's having a bad reaction to some medicine she's been taking. Severe mood swings, loss of sensation in her legs, inability to eat, that sort of thing. Suffice to say, I've been run ragged for the past 72hrs or so. Fortunately, she's on the upswing, so I should be able to resume posting tomorrow.

No worries, hope she feels better soon. Thorakiz is out soon with wisdom teeth surgery, so I will bot as needed.

@Thorakiz, hope the surgery went/goes well.
@Binx, hope your wife gets better soon.

@Triba, glad to see you're still here with us. I am getting curious how/when you will make your appearance.

@DM Stylz, I'm very curious what is awaiting us around the bend :) & keep up the good work. I am really enjoying this PbP :)

She's doing a lot better. :-) I was actually able to go back to work today, but I'll be keeping a close eye on her for the next few days just in case she has a relapse.

RL always takes precedence, make sure the wife is better :)

To avoid any confusion: The jumbled pile of bones, does it seem as if they could form into 2 skeletons or other such undead? Don't want to look like a total freak, just smashing old bones ....

Inside a dungeon crawl? Random bone piles ALWAYS turn into skeletons. ;-)

For some reason I usually end up playing characters who are "hyper-sensitive" when it comes to possible undead-ish things.

example of what I mean:

In an adventure path I play with some friends IRL I play a wizard who currently has disrupt undead prepared 90% of the time, due to several run ins with undead already. It has helped in several occasions, the funniest of which was when we entered a cabin somewhere, there was a guy hanging from a rope. It was very obvious that he had hung himself (hung by his neck, there lay a stool not far from him, ...) My wizard was the first one to enter with crossbow at the ready. Seeing as he was not really in the habit of trusting corpses he shot a bolt in it to see if it was "responsive". Lo and behold, it turned out to be a Ghast.
So we all stood back while I pelted it with disrupt undead.

(Apparantly it was a humanoid, with enough class lvls to turn into a Ghast, who realized he had ghoul fever and he tried to kill himself. Sadly enough for him, the ghoul fever killed him first, turning him into a Ghast who needed to hope for someone to get him out of the noose, as he did not have the strength to do that himself :))

I just don't really want to start hitting corpses/skeletons willy nilly. Some folk/races might find it "offensive" ;) That's why I asked the GM for clarification.

AP Name:
Skull and Shackles, right? I'm GMing that on the boards right now. Such a nasty island. :-)

I recently read about an Inquisitor of Pharasma who would hit everyone with that spell. "I'm going to cast a spell on you. If you're who you appear to be, it won't do anything. If you're actually a Ghoul in disguise, however, it'll burn you."

Concerning the AP Name:
You guessed correctly. Sadly enough our game goes somewhat slow, due to the fact that the same group with some extra people plays several roleplays together + have other activities. So we have to divide our time between all of that. My character was technically part of the Explorer's society before being press-ganged, so the fact that he doesn't trust corpses laying/hanging about in areas is kinda warranted ;))

Wow, that's like the 24/7 detect evil paladin ;) Although I think the inquisitor thing is more flavorful :)

Male Orc Two Handed Fighter 2 ((HP 11/16))

Well surgery was a success. I have an ice pack thing around my head they gave me, and I look pretty ridiculous. But it does make it numb and wonderful. 20 days left til I can eat solid food. :P

MUAHAHAHAHAHAHA lol

What kind of light does our temporary undead friend shed, candle, torch, bigger?

Now we have an improvised explosive to throw at the barricade on the third floor ;-)

i am gonna say "small" torch light, so 15' radius centered on skelly

On page 4 of gameplay, Marvin had mentioned something about using durable arrows (a set of cold iron and a set of blunt arrows), so they shouldn't be shattering on walls/ceiling. But I just looked at his sheet and he hasn't tracked arrows yet.

I will not have access to a computer at home for about a week till a week and a half. I do still have my computer at work and an ipad at home, so I will still be able to follow, but my posting might be a bit spotty (will mostly depend on workload).

Female Halfling Bard 2/Rogue 1

Have fun Dolgrin!

Just popping in to say I'm still here and following along, waiting for the perfect moment to strike >.>

Male Human Witch (Spirits Patron) / 3

you are very patient...and for a halfling at that! :>

@Marvin: Erp! I meant the fighting sound from area 18, after we had cleared area 16. Sorry!

Female Halfling Bard 2/Rogue 1

Yup I'm here, just noticed that I showed up. Getting a post up soon.

Male Human Witch (Spirits Patron) / 3

indecently, sorry I whiffed the sleep spell last round. Totally gapped that it was a full round action. Guess its back to the cackling evil eye routine.

no worries Eb, I thought it was a sleep hex, then i reread your guy ad saw it was the actual sleep spell...no harm done it wasn't a gamebreaker or anything.

I tend to go with the flow and if I goof then I goof :)

Male Undine Swashbuckler 1

I am going to be offline until Sunday evening, so bot me as needed.

Male Human Witch (Spirits Patron) / 3

I updated everybody'd positions on the map...

Female Halfling Bard 2/Rogue 1

Hello everybody, I will be visiting my girlfriend this weekend and my posting will probably be non-existent until Sunday evening. I'll see you all then.

DMPC me as needed.

enjoy...I will probably wait until monday to get the next post up, since a few peeps are gone. I also sent off a PM to Thorakiz but have not heard back. I very well may have to dump him since DMPC him forever isn't really an option lol.

Any thoughts...try to recruit another warm body, or just continue without him. We would have 5 still, just no tank/damage output guy like he was capable of is all.

Male Human Witch (Spirits Patron) / 3

5 is plenty. I vote hold off on any more recruitment.

I agree. Dolgrim hits pretty hard when he has to, Marvin does the same, and I'll eventually be summoning things when needed. We should be fine.

I am a bit concerned about the lack of a front row when Thorakiz is gone though. Hopefully you can summon enough stuff to be fodder.

It'll take another couple levels to get effective, but I'll prep a summon spell or two when we rest.

Male Undine Swashbuckler 1

OK, soliciting opinions here. I am considering either taking another ranger level or adding a level of lore warden fighter. The former gives me more skills and puts me on a path to move along my ranger abilities, the latter will give me access to all knowledge skills (handy with my 17 int) and an extra feat (plus if I pursue it, access to weapon spec and weapon training). I was thinking the knowledge would be handy since nobody here was a knowledge sort (the bard will be eventually, but right now, not so much with the 10 Int).

What do you folks think. I have both builds worked up for third level, just have to pick one.

(Loot List) Human Tattooed Sorcerer (Sanguine) 1 / Thassalonian Specialist (Gluttony) 4

Um... A certain INT 20 Wizard currently has six Knowledges trained and will end up with ranks in all of them in another couple levels....

Male Undine Swashbuckler 1

Oh, didn't notice that (kept seeing sorcerer). Probably no point then. I might be better off with weapon master if I do dip fighter then.

Of course I could consider pure fighter and go with a tank archer. If nothing else, wearing heavy armor will remove any temptation to scout.

I'd recommend at least one more Ranger level so you get a Favored Terrain. That being said, archery is so feat-intensive that a Fighter dip is always helpful.

Male Undine Swashbuckler 1

Also with freebooter, I don't get that much damage bonus, and since most of the party isn't weapon damage types, handing out a buff like that has a lot less force multiplier effect. I will do that ranger level (for underground terrain), but then probably work on some fighter. The fighter with spec and training can make up for my relatively low strength.
