Crossbow x1 and bolts

Male Suli Tattooed Sorcerer 1

"I guess I will take a crossbow with some bolts too. My throwing skills dont really have the distance I need."

He was referring more to his daggers that he had yet to use, but they did not need to know that.

Female Elf Life Oracle/1

"Could use refilling on my arrows. Oh and are we resting before we set off." I may not look it but I certainly feel tired.

What time is it. :)

Late evening

Human Bard; AC: 16, 10, 16; HP: 7; F: -1, R: +2, W: +4; Init: +4; Percep: +6

Isaac is less interested in the supplies and more interested in Talon and his men. What are you doing here?

Talon stops by the door before he leaves to answer Isaac, "We were in Maloria, hunting the last of the red wyrms. I received word that my son had gone off an a mission, unprepared and his head full of vengenance. So I intended to cut him off before he reached his intended destination, but I was delayed. I followed the trail of what appeared to be a very large collection of undead, they leave a pretty gruisome trail. And that is when I arrived here, to find them attacking the town..."

Human Bard; AC: 16, 10, 16; HP: 7; F: -1, R: +2, W: +4; Init: +4; Percep: +6

Well, where do you intend to go now?

"We will secure the rest of the town and make sure none of the undead remain. We will get the fires under control and help get it repaired as best as we can. I'm sure some of the civilian population remain. If not, I'm sure Cross will be resettled. From there, we will head back to Tyr for a few weeks before setting out again for either Maloria or the Dead Swamps, where ever we are needed.

Talon looks to Isaac, "I'm sorry you lost a lot of friends tonight, especially Groden, he was a friend of mine as well... If you will excuse me, I have to see to my son..."

Galdor continues to write.

The list as it stands.

Crossbow x2 and bolts

Climbing kits

Healing kits

HP 29/29, AC 17, Fort +6, Dex +5, Will +1, Bombs 6/6, Mutagen 1/1

Boomer eyes the schematics and his eyebrows raise. "Well Ah'll be. It's so damn simple..."

Wandering off lost in thought Boomer makes his way toward where his shop had been to see what, if anything, was salvageable.

You arrive at your shop to see a a small squad of 13th soldiers rummaging through the various rubble that was once the shop district of Cross. One of them spots you and walks over.

"I heard from one o' the militia that you were Boomer. We found a barrel with some gun powder in it. Pretty sure it's yours." He grabs a small cask and hands it to Boomer. "Also thinks these are yours as well." He hands you a sack of various ball bearings, both used for grapeshot and riffled balls for single shots.

Enough for 20 shots to be made into alchemical cartridges

Male Dhampir Fighter 2 (HP 20 | AC 15 | T 13 | FF 12 | F +3 | R +3 | W 0 | Init +3 | Per +4)

"I could certainly use a sturdier backpack."

MW Backpack

Male Elf Magus bladebound Kensai 1

Good idea. I think we could all do with one of those

The list

Crossbow x2 and bolts

Climbing kits

Healing kits

MW Backpack x6

HP 29/29, AC 17, Fort +6, Dex +5, Will +1, Bombs 6/6, Mutagen 1/1

"Tha's me. Thanks fellas. Always knew ah shoulda made steel storage tubs fer this stuff. Ah well. Live an' learn. Did'ja happen t' see if mah cart in th' back was salvageable?"

Boomer needs a rickshaw cart to haul equipment. Basically a portable workshop kind of thing. I figured he'd already have one behind his shop. Up to you if it's still usable. If not, I'll look for one elsewhere.

The soldier shackes his head. "No cart, sorry sir. We found a few pull carts over by the tavern, but you will need a pack horse to carry all of that."

Back over at town hall, Talon comes back in after about an hour. He looks over the list from the group. "The healing supplies might be a bit of a stretch and I don't know about the back packs. I will gather what I can and have it ready for you in the morning"

Once you guys are fully rested for the night, we will start the next days events

The following takes place the next day, so you can resolve up any night time discussions before this happens

You wake up the next morning in what remains of the inn above the tavern, feeling fully refreshed. The smells of breakfast are wafting under the door to your room and you almost forget about the horrible devastation that happened the night before.

As you head downstairs, you notice Talon at a table, having breakfast and reading reports in a leather bound journal. He is sitting across from a familiar face, Tierce, who is now clean shaven and less travel stained. His usually fancy armor has been switched out for simple travel clothes and studded leather. You can now see the family resemblance between the two. Talon notices you as you come down and gestures to an open table and as you sit down, breakfast and drinks are served to you from some cooks. A light fruit juice is poured for the elves, a good stout coffee is served to the humans (human-like), and a nice dark ale is served to Boomer.

After breakfast is over, Talon comes to sit at your table. ”I have located six climber’s kits as well as six well-crafted packs, which were quite difficult to come by. Unfortunately I was only able to get two healers kits as we are hard pressed on medical supplies. The crossbows weren’t a problem and are stocked in the cart. With the insistence of Mr. Bellowpiper, we have attached a cart to the pack horse that we are giving you as I believe he would prefer driving the cart rather than ride on a horse.”

Talon pauses for a second thinking, ”Which means you have an extra horse, and I would like you to consider taking my son Tierce with you. He’s been rather adamant to see this problem solved. I’ve spoken with him and assured him that vengeance will cloud the mind of proper judgement. Once you have come to a decision we can help see you off.” And with that he sits back down to continue drinking his coffee.

Human Bard; AC: 16, 10, 16; HP: 7; F: -1, R: +2, W: +4; Init: +4; Percep: +6

Isaac is feeling a little better today. He has decided that, regardless of whether or not Praetor is all he ever hoped and dreamed, the Age of Madness was still a thing to be stopped. Maybe Isaac could learn a bit more about Praetor and these other gods on his journey.

When Talon offers Tierce up for accompaniment, Isaac steps forward, holds out his hand to Tierce, and says It would be an honor.

Male Dhampir Fighter 2 (HP 20 | AC 15 | T 13 | FF 12 | F +3 | R +3 | W 0 | Init +3 | Per +4)

Walks over and clasps Tierce on the shoulder, "An extra blade never hurts." As he sits back down, Darius quips, "Unless of course it's an enemies in your gut." Smiles and salutes Talon with his cup, "May the battles be stout and the women a comfort." Downs the entire cup. "Ahhhhh, that's the stuff."
