Figured I'd give you guys a warning, we're having a storm tonight with some fierce winds and it looks like the power is probably going to go out. Many people in my town are already saying that theirs has. Sooo... if you don't hear much from me tomorrow, that's probably why.

Power didn't go out here, but the school district cancelled school because of power outages across town.

Sorry guys, expect things to be somewhat slow(er) for the next week or so as I'm entering into finals. Plus, our illustrious Silian/Garotte is still tied up with life crap which makes it a bit harder to really get the ball moving on this transition. It looks like Tava and Jonah are also finding it a bit hard to post at the moment. I really am keeping my fingers crossed that this isn't doomsday for my campaigns and will do everything I can to keep them going. I'm really enjoying them and I hope that you guys are enjoying them enough to tough it out for now, too. Thanks for your patience.

Thanks Akasha. During the slow times, I encourage anyone who is around to role play their hearts out talking to each other and the NPC's. It's nothing at all for me to respond idly as an NPC for general conversation/RP purposes. You can move about Sharn and explore the local sites, check out shops etc without any strain on me. I'll nudge you guys towards the starting location for the next module when things are clear to move forward.

I have returned! Thank you Holly for continuing to run in my absence! I am settled into my (new) home, I have just switched stores with a promotion at work, and the dust is finally ceasing to kick up. I sincerely appreciate everybody's well wishes and patience lately!

There isn't anything that Garotte requires or wants, and I wouldn't want to get two items just because I have two characters when others have only gotten one. Spoil Silian, Garotte can suffer... or endure :P

I would like for you all to take a moment to consider what you would like to see happen for your characters. Whether that is tying things in to your background, forming romantic relationships, obtaining an archenemy... whatever! I would also like for you to consider what I can do as a DM to help bring the game alive for you in a more general sense. What are we doing that's working, what are we doing that isn't working. I'd really like to see these games succeed and for you guys to get the most out of it.

Thank you for the birthday wishes! Silian is a brat prince, but he truly feels alive in the wilds, I would like to see an adventure outside of the urban so we can really get into the thick of things. Silian wants to find romance, and though he may flirt, he would only ever tie himself down with an elf, preferably a House Thuranni elf. He may skirt the lines, but he would never do anything to risk exoriation from his House. He very much wants to meet again the displacer beast that saved his life, but in the meantime he is having fun meeting new people and finding guys and gals in Sharn to shamelessly flirt with.

Silian's archenemy is being eaten by dire rats... so unless he really chafes someone else he will handle that as things come along.

Garotte is simple, he seeks the dragonmarked girl that eluded the Boramar Clan, but he is slowly realizing that it may be a farce. He is a specific tool without a purpose now, so he has the rest of the world to learn about. I am hoping as he gains experience he will start to see himself with an identity as opposed to being a forgotten possession.

I am having a lot of fun getting to know the NPCs and looking forward to making some lasting connections with characters we can return to and develop friendships with. I enjoy our pacing, and hopefully players can get into a regular swing, which will become easier as we get to know each other and are able to presume what actions we would take in the case of an absence.

Also, Akasha is a noble and will use that to her advantage when it's beneficial, but she's the least stuck up noble you'll ever meet and sees everyone for who they are.

I really like Akasha, I think you play her well too!

I spoke with Silian and he's holding off a bit on posting a response because he's trying to give Akasha and Tava a chance to respond as well. Lately it's been mostly Jonah and Silian who have posted. Akasha hasn't been completely absent by any means, but he's trying to help pull you back in further. Especially for Tava's sake, since her ability to communicate is still stunted.

Me am want to go places in bright light city, me want to learn to make words and friends.

I'm not, really sure what direction to take Tava, so I am playing it by ear and letting things go in an organic fashion, so to speak.

Ok, now I have thought about this, and at least have an partial answer for you. :)

What I would like to see, is my character survive. :) now just looking at it, survive and succeed. :)

Relationships, if the hook is tossed at me, I might not see it, so if one happens IC, it happens.

I am trying to play him as a relatively naive small town kid suddenly dropped into someplace like London.
He knows what the mark does, but not what it truely means for him. :)
Also, he is not completely sure of whats going on, but always trying to learn.

As for how the game is going, I am enjoying it.
