Lief, I don't think you have as many actions as you think you do. Move to get the potion, standard to drink it - and you're staggered so you only get one of those, let alone the move you're trying to sneak in on me as well. :) Please move back, and you haven't quaffed that healing potion yet (though feel free to take a 5' step). Also, the walls are too low to provide cover (though they do look rather substantial on the map).

Allarnon, I think that because you missed SR the first time, it stays missed (just as Kaylayne's stays made). Spell Resistance is per spell not per effect.
So you have your action still, but throwing lighting at this particular target won't help you I think. The other drow are still alive, if you want to show your aggravation.

Dimitrio, when I roll dice, low is bad for me and high is good for me. I assume you do the same, or follow some other standard - doesn't much matter as long as you're consistent.
So yes, there is a 50% miss chance, but roll it as you normally would, whatever that is.

Ederin manages to hit just once - but he does real damage even if it’s not as much as he’d like. Lief loads his crossbow and tries to move into a more advantageous position. Allarnon shrinks his position and prepares a sling. Dimitrio inspires others, and even through cover, displacement, and resistance manages to hit the wizard with fire. Kaylayne .

Ederin rips two hits with three arrows and the wizard knows why he threw that fireball. Lief connects, and does some real damage as well as knocking him out (if he’s not dead already!). Allarnon unluckily fails to connect. Dimitrio watches, helping the others with his uplifting voice. Kaylayne throws one more lighting bolt on the corpse.

We are out of initiative!
Nolveniss collapses on several fronts, his displaced form flickering a little as he floats in mid-air - his spells still functioning while he does not. Your fliers can easily close with him and bring his body back to the rooftop. A look of shock is clearly seen across his face and you wonder why he didn’t run. Must have been his fierce pride.
Searching his body you find a number of interesting and useful things. Two potions of cure serious wounds, a staff (ID check please, DC 23 - 3 charges remain), a headband of intellect (+2, knowledge geography - underdark focused so you know stuff through the headband you couldn’t otherwise know, you know?), a shadowy key, a dark key, 1,000gp in diamond dust, and a house of Azrinae signet ring. On the platform you find an enormous spellbook on a pedestal filled with necromancy and illusion spells as well as a few others (It’s a major hassle to determine the value of a spellbook so just set it at 2,000gp and we’ll call it a day. Should be close.).
It is very quiet on the rooftop now, and you can see much of the city from here - as well as the best view of the sky broiling above you. It’s late morning on Oathday, 3 Rova, 4709. Or at least that’s the date where you’re from. Here it’s rather closer to the end. According to Lief’s calculations, you have the rest of the day today, and all day tomorrow - safe. The day after that? Armageddon.

They keys themselves are magic items and conduits. Think of the spell Plane Shift, which requires a tuning fork for the plane you're going to. It's like that, but the key also opens or activates the portal.
Of course, you need to find the portal to use the key.
It is clear though that the shadowy key is tuned to this plane. The other? Who knows...

Once the keys are secured, and the others are ready to head down, Lief hastens to the bottom floor to set eyes on Kaerishiel and the two remaining elves. It is here that he waits, knowing the false life given to them all by the wand will wear off, and the group will require healing to steel them against any remaining foes, like the babau, in their return to the portal, from whence they came.

Kaylayne pauses to take a few deep, cleansing breaths after the drow falls. Part of her expects more hideous drow to show up, other parts want more to show up so she has a target for her lightning. However, after the breaths, she calms down.
Kaylayne picks up the strange burning staff and holds it up to her ear, listening as she delves.

Haooy that the drow finally succumbed to arrows and lightning, Dimitrio crowds around Lief as he inspects the keys. "So, we going home, right?"
He then double checks his gear, straightens out his clothes, and waits (impatiently) for Lief to tell how to get back home.

We know where the entrance to this place was, so likely, we'll have to exit in the same place where we entered. We have some time, but I share your sentiment. I'd like to be gone from this place as soon as we're able. We have three severely injured elves to escort back, and I don't expect that to be especially easy to do with the antagonism of demons about." Lief palms the keys, then tucks them away.
"How much healing do we have left?" He takes what he can get to restore himself further.
