sorry been busy with everything but got time now

Amar was not the best with moving silently or hiding but given time even he could hide quite well.

Hearing the whistle and everyone popping to action Amar gets out of his cover and move to position to see Gurg and uses one charge of his wand.

Wand of Sleep [20/22 charges left]

THP: 1/6; HP 43/43; NL 4; AC 18, t 12, ff 16; Fort +9/Ref +7/Will +3; CMD 18; Perception +7

Gaius pops up from the bushes, and draws two arrows from his quiver with one motion. While he knocks and fires the first, he holds the second with his ring finger and pinky. Then as soon as the first arrow is away the second is snapped into place and away, both arrows streaking towards Gurg's back.

Attack 1 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (18) + 3 = 21

Attack 2 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (15) + 3 = 18
Damage 1d8 ⇒ 2

Gurg's will save 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (16) + 1 = 17

Gurg dodges Frick's blow and shakes off the magical sleep just in time to take two arrows to the back. He roars again, swinging his hand-made morningstar at Frick with great resolve. 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10 >> 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5 The swing goes wide, leaving Gurg angrier than ever.

Little bit doubting his own prowess with magic but regaining his composure with rage Amar raises his hands and start to furiously make complex gestures in the air drawing magic in his hands. Beginning to darken and pulse on its own Amar shoots out the energy towards Gurgu

Hearing combat Rosa stands up and walking to range points her open hand at the brute.

"lets light you up sunshine, TIME TO BURN!"

HP 8/11, AC 20, T 11, FF 19, Fort +3, Ref +1, Will +1, CMD 15, Init +1, Perc +1, 275 XP

Frick power slashes at the big bugbear's burly legs. "I'll get you this time BB!"

Power Attack 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10
Damage 2d6 + 7 ⇒ (5, 2) + 7 = 14

I just realized that I didn't give any of you XP yet. Frick, you don't get any, though, since you're new. Gaius, Rosa, and Amar, I wasn't really sure how to dish out XP for the goblin fight since you had help, so I'm just going to fiat this one and say that you each have 1000 XP. That includes the goblin raid and the hobgoblin in the tower.

Rosa, you don't need an attack roll for burning hands.

Reflex save 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7

Rosa's blast catches Gurg right in the face and his shirt catches fire.

Both of Gaius's arrows miss, as does Frick's swing.

Gurg swings at Frick, even as flames lick around his chest. 1d6 ⇒ 4 fire damage.

1d20 + 6 ⇒ (14) + 6 = 20 >> 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5

This time, he strikes true. Gurg's spiked weapon crashes into Frick's chest, sending up sparks against his armor.

THP: 1/6; HP 43/43; NL 4; AC 18, t 12, ff 16; Fort +9/Ref +7/Will +3; CMD 18; Perception +7

"Damn." Gaius mutters under his breath as both his arrows miss. He draws two more and fires again.

As the last word comes out she raises her massive hell blade and slams it down from shoulder to groin in one wicked slash.

As Gaius sees Rosa's massive sword slash the bugbear open he lets out a cry "Yaahaha! Give 'im hell Rosa!"

Nice hit!

With the bugbear cleanly hewn in two, all that's left to do is mop up. Gurg was carrying a morningstar, 5 javelins, and a dead deer.

You each get 275 XP

THP: 1/6; HP 43/43; NL 4; AC 18, t 12, ff 16; Fort +9/Ref +7/Will +3; CMD 18; Perception +7

25 XP from second level...-twitch twitch-

"Hey Sniff, lead the way. Time to clean out his cave." Gaius commands, walking over to the others. "You alright Frick?" he asks.

Female looking Tiefling [Devil Blooded] [outsider (native)] Cleric (LAW)

Rosa will check Frick and see of hes all right then says Jokingly.
"Frick you dumb Drow, next time hit the thing not ask it for a lovers hug"

She then looks at Sniff and Gaius has the head off into the cave.
"you best get you war head on looks like we are heading in"

She steps over the smoldering mess that was Gurg and follows the others into the cave.

Sovereign Court

Giving the way for others and remaining behind Amar begin to exams Gurg´s dead body. Going through his teeth and body while finally drawing his dagger out and puncturing a hole to his main blood vessel to drip the blood in one of the vials.

After this done begin more grotesque work with whole anatomy to examine through his liver, hearth, lungs etc.. Finished and bloody all over Amar turns around and look around for others or for some goblins. Nodding to one of them If you can get 2 with you to drag this guy, you got yourself a dinner. I don´t need him anymore so would be better not waste him as a resource as he pull the last strings on his pouches and backs and head toward the secret passage to the cave

HP 8/11, AC 20, T 11, FF 19, Fort +3, Ref +1, Will +1, CMD 15, Init +1, Perc +1, 275 XP

Frick was a bit staggered from the blow, but said "Is that all you've got BB!" Rosa's slash splattered some blood on Frick's chest and he licked it off. He said to Gaius' question "I'm better than BB." To Rosa "Thanks for the sexual healing. Now give me a lovers' hug." Frick pisses on the dead carcass of the bugbear after Amar's done with it and follows everyone into the cave.

Female looking Tiefling [Devil Blooded] [outsider (native)] Cleric (LAW)

Rosa gives Frick a hard slap round the back of the he when he start
urinate,
"You dumb Drow, stop fooling around and start showing us why we should not give your bladder to the Goblins as a kick ball!, get your hands out of your pants and get your sword a chopping in the cave a pronto!!"

Let's keep it Pg-13, please and thank you.

The secret entrance to the cave is nothing more than a way to avoid the main entrance. It opens up into a smelly, damp cave about 20' square. There is a bed and a set or plate armor in one corner, and small chest in the other.

Female looking Tiefling [Devil Blooded] [outsider (native)] Cleric (LAW)

Rosa gos and picks up the plate to see what condition its in.

THP: 1/6; HP 43/43; NL 4; AC 18, t 12, ff 16; Fort +9/Ref +7/Will +3; CMD 18; Perception +7

Gaius will go over to the chest and see if it's locked.

The plate mail is in good condition, completely wearable. The chest is locked tight, and shows signs of some gentle tampering.

HP 8/11, AC 20, T 11, FF 19, Fort +3, Ref +1, Will +1, CMD 15, Init +1, Perc +1, 275 XP

Frick decides to go back and pick up a javelin and finds a rock and tries to open the chest by hitting the lock. If I have to roll, my strength is 16, so I think it's 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (11) + 6 = 17 He says to Rosa smiling wickedly "If you don't mind, I'll take that armor love."

THP: 1/6; HP 43/43; NL 4; AC 18, t 12, ff 16; Fort +9/Ref +7/Will +3; CMD 18; Perception +7

16 Str is +3 modifier. So that would give you a 14. Is the chest small enough to carry?

Female looking Tiefling [Devil Blooded] [outsider (native)] Cleric (LAW)

"Frick, See that Plate is 1500 gold true just there. Now asking for something to cover your sorry backside so it dos not get kicked by the 1st half dog you meet I can understand. But handing over that much gold from our funds? I think we all need to agree on that kind of thing, but for now you can put it on as its the best way to carry it back to our little keep, after that, if we let you keep it the price is coming out of your cut for some time to come."

She throws the helmet at the Drow.

Frick's approach does little to persuade the box of its contents. It is small enough to carry.

THP: 1/6; HP 43/43; NL 4; AC 18, t 12, ff 16; Fort +9/Ref +7/Will +3; CMD 18; Perception +7

"We can worry about the chest back at the tower. We still got ghouls to deal with. Lets go." Gaius says, picking up the chest and beginning to move towards the exit.

Female looking Tiefling [Devil Blooded] [outsider (native)] Cleric (LAW)

"you heard Gaius, move out, Frick you can show use what you can do in our basement, so get the suit on fast and lets move it"

Nothing more to note here, and nothing happens on the way back to the tower. You are free to proceed as you see fit.

Female looking Tiefling [Devil Blooded] [outsider (native)] Cleric (LAW)

I think a day of rest and get every thing ready for heading down to the undeads. we will take some of the goblins say around 4 as back up rest stay to keep house up to and ether G or Sniff. Has any of them very been down below?

THP: 1/6; HP 43/43; NL 4; AC 18, t 12, ff 16; Fort +9/Ref +7/Will +3; CMD 18; Perception +7

Yeah, a night of rest is good idea. Amar can prepare spells that would be effective against undead. Since none of us has disable device, and apparently Gurg didn't have a key to the chest, we're gonna need to break the lock. Rosa, you have the biggest sword.

Once they are all back in the tower, Gaius asks, "Rosa, you think you can bust this lock with that big blade o' yours?" pointing at the chest. "Maybe tomorrow we can finally clear out the damn basement. Since someone bothered to set traps down there, there has to be some kind of loot."

Female looking Tiefling [Devil Blooded] [outsider (native)] Cleric (LAW)

Rosa will find a spike and hammer and pop the lock

1d20 + 3 ⇒ (16) + 3 = 19

Within the chest you find 1400gp, and two vials of shimmering liquid.

THP: 1/6; HP 43/43; NL 4; AC 18, t 12, ff 16; Fort +9/Ref +7/Will +3; CMD 18; Perception +7

"Finally, some real money. Good work Rosa." Gaius says. "Maybe Amar can identify these potions." He yawns broadly and says. "I'm beat. I'm going to sleep, in the morning we can deal with the basement." He then wanders off into the corner where he has his bedroll set up, removes his tophat and sets it next to him on the ground and lays down to go to sleep.

Sovereign Court

Male Human Wizard / Level 1

Amar approaches the others as they go through the chest and after a while the vials are out takes them with him to the upper floor and begin the examination.

Cast Detect Magic and if it appears to be magical Amar will leave it for later and try to research his materials to determine its purpose based on color and texture (taste test)

Female looking Tiefling [Devil Blooded] [outsider (native)] Cleric (LAW)

Rosa hands Amar the potions,

"yours potions are Amar as agreed, right the rest of you goblins
here's you 1st mouths pay, 4 gold each, Sniff, G you get 10 as our Sargent's, now the lot of you keep up the good work and you will get better life of good food, warm place to sleep and gold, From time to time there will be fighting but add that gold to the new arms and armor you have and you can see your doing well, now line up and get paid.

Rosa will hand out the Goblins pay and take a note of who got what, getting them to make a mark on her accounts.

"now this chest is going in the temple, it will be looked over by the lord of hell and if any one so much as looks at it wrong hes hands will reach out and pull there soul down to the deepest pit of fire for all time, whats left will be found my me and skinned alive, got that"

She heads off to the temple.

Sovereign Court

Male Human Wizard / Level 1

Rosa, just remember that Goblins are... literally afraid and suspicious of reading and writing so maybe you should get a simple stamp

Female looking Tiefling [Devil Blooded] [outsider (native)] Cleric (LAW)

Stamp it is then

HP 8/11, AC 20, T 11, FF 19, Fort +3, Ref +1, Will +1, CMD 15, Init +1, Perc +1, 275 XP

It's daytime, so Frick sleeps.

THP: 1/6; HP 43/43; NL 4; AC 18, t 12, ff 16; Fort +9/Ref +7/Will +3; CMD 18; Perception +7

Once everyone has had about half a day to rest Gaius will gather Amar, Rosa, Frick, G and Sniff in the 'throne room'. "Alright, I called this here meeting to talk about the basement. G, Sniff, why don't you fill us in on everything you know about what's underneath this tower. Take your time, don't leave anything out." Gaius will reach up and tip the brim of his hat back a bit and lean to listen attentively.

Sniff merely shrugs, and it is obvious that he doesn't know anything about the basement. G, on the other hand, offers this: Well, a ways back, when we first moved in here, we sent a crew down to loot the basement, but they never came back up. We sent another crew down, and I was part of this one. We found what is essentially a tomb. The stone is all different from the tower and there were all sorts of inscriptions near the entrance telling us who was buried where and stuff like that. As soon as we opened the second door, our front men were killed by a blast of flame, and the next two were torn to pieces by some sort of dead-looking thing. Bax, the one you killed upstairs, and I were th only ones left, and we ran for it. We closed the first door and covered up the entrance. The monsters tried to get out for a while, but then they gave up and we haven't heard from them since.

Female looking Tiefling [Devil Blooded] [outsider (native)] Cleric (LAW)

Whats did the dead thing look like G, all walking bones or rotting flesh thing on two legs?

I couldn't say. It was too panicked and too long ago.

THP: 1/6; HP 43/43; NL 4; AC 18, t 12, ff 16; Fort +9/Ref +7/Will +3; CMD 18; Perception +7

Man we are really hurting for a rogue.

Traps and tombs. Great...We did pick up a ten foot pole before we set out from town. We'll have to probe everything carefully when we're down there. On the up side, trapped and guarded tomb is bound to be full of treasure."

HP 8/11, AC 20, T 11, FF 19, Fort +3, Ref +1, Will +1, CMD 15, Init +1, Perc +1, 275 XP

We could use Wolverine too! Are there any kill undead bombs and/or poison and flame resistance potions that I can buy?

Frick suits up in the Bugbear's armor and says

"Let's kill some zombie mummy skeletons!

THP: 1/6; HP 43/43; NL 4; AC 18, t 12, ff 16; Fort +9/Ref +7/Will +3; CMD 18; Perception +7

No kill undead ones, but once we go back to town you can buy Potions of Resist Energy I believe. I'd have to look up how much they cost to be sure, but I think they're around 150GP.

"Amar, did you prepare spells that would be helpful against the undead?" Gaius asks.

Sovereign Court

Male Human Wizard / Level 1

So far I do have some spells against them but I have to say that since I have no idea what kind of undeads they might be, it is hard to really say how well we will fare against them. It could be fatal if we are up against some... more dangerous ones. Even that firetrap sounded quite high-leveled magic. Fireball I assume which could mean that at least powerful wizard used this place as his residence before

Spells for today:

0=Acid Splash
0=Disrupt Undead
0=Detect Magic

1=Shield
1=Grease

Female looking Tiefling [Devil Blooded] [outsider (native)] Cleric (LAW)

Well ill have to take Hide from Undead guys

THP: 1/6; HP 43/43; NL 4; AC 18, t 12, ff 16; Fort +9/Ref +7/Will +3; CMD 18; Perception +7

"Well, lets get 'er done." Gaius says. "Meet me downstairs as soon as you're ready." he tells the others before picking up his bow and heading down to the first floor. He will have some of the goblins remove the objects covering the trapdoor, and then wait for Amar, Rosa, and Frick to join him.

Frick in platemail your AC should be 20, flat footed 19. The armor check penalty is -6
