With a tremendous flurry of knees and elbows, punctuated with a viscous knee to the end the nasty lizard goes limp. At first you think it got killed by internal bleeding, but a few moments later you realize that it IS still in fact breathing.

The king comes over, raises his hammer high in the air...

Combat over, unless stopped king Rory will coupe de gras the big bad trog.

Hold up King. Kill this beast a bit later. For now, lets tie it up, and get all the information about their plans, their defenses. That way you can end this for good. Then if you feel this creature would endanger your land then take care of it.

Rory, with much of a heavy heart and much to his disliking, will gently lower his hammer. He looks around, and to the fallen warriors who proudly waded into battle. The Dwarven priest says a few words in Dwarven (aka last rights) and both king and priest turn to you all.

Hmhp, my men will be remembered AND payback will be had lads. Take the prisoner back to the main hall. Then once properly restrained, get me. As far as the spoils of war...help yourself kids. If it weren't for you it may have ended differently.

Wulfgar returns with a armful of gear, considering he still large it is a fair amount of gear, as he drops it in front of the team and removing the ornamental headdress and his helmet; he places the headband of wisdom on and ask

"what thinkink you comrrrrades, seems it is beink to small"

Intimidate: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (15) + 11 = 26 Hopefully with an assist from the dwarven priest. Trying to make him tell us what he knows, by using the basic function of

Intimidate:
Check: You can use Intimidate to force an opponent to act friendly toward you for 1d6 × 10 minutes with a successful check. The DC of this check is equal to 10 + the target's Hit Dice + the target's Wisdom modifier. If successful, the target gives you the information you desire, takes actions that do not endanger it, or otherwise offers limited assistance. After the Intimidate expires, the target treats you as unfriendly and may report you to local authorities. If you fail this check by 5 or more, the target attempts to deceive you or otherwise hinder your activities.
Action: Using Intimidate to change an opponent's attitude requires 1 minute of conversation.

Also taking 10 on sense motive to check if he is not trying to deceive us, with a +11 gives a total of 21 on sense motive.

I will see if I can help

Liam cracks his whip, the leader unchatacteristicly flinches. It thinks for a moment, a few tense seconds go by. It then speaks.

I am unit commander, one of many. Waves coming, but don't know when, as it then spits in Liam's direction. It struggles in its bonds, trying to break free.

Another dwarf comes in, I found out why the fiery woman is here...presuming she isn't lying of course. She is in the Chelish army. Her and 3 other squads were sent here to search out Aroden's supposed burial site. The greedy Chelish want power and control. They have gotten out of control, they are trying to release Rovagug. They now feel if they cannot have the power they seek, no one can. They have truly gone mad!

OKAY, I know know I need to help you folks, as you may be the only ones who can stop their maddening plan! I would send my men, but we need as many here as possible if the Troglodtyes ever show their ugly mugs.

A few tense moments pass, he looks to his own handful of men in the room, then back to you four.

Bronx, take them to the Sacred Shrine.

You can see the shock on the others' faces as he says this.

Sorry, work has been crazy. I still exist. Onward I say

Bronx, much to the dismay and occasional voiced dislike takes the four of you brave warriors to the Sacred Shrine. He leads you out of the banquet hall, and blindfolds you. He explains it is for secrecy, only clan members are to know the exact location and apologizes for such a precaution.

Once all are agreed and blind, he leads you. You go down a stairway, and you think some turns but are unsure how many or direction. After about a 5 minute, careful walk you stand in front of an adamantite door. Upon the door are crests, and glyphs. Bronx sees Rory already there, but do is Gwen. Rory, goes up to the door, places something on the door, and you all hear a thunderous BOOM.

Before you stands 4 ghosts. There is no doubt about what they're are, none of you were born yesterday. All 4 ghosts look in your direction, then immediately look at Rory.

Why have ye brought outsiders to such a hallowed place Young King? Do you dare sulky our Clan name? speaks the first ghost.

Please, allow me to explain my liege. Rory responds, a slight worry in his voice as he knows not to mess with the former Kings.

Rory explains the situation before them. All 4 ghosts seem to question him and his sanity. The ghosts each "probe" Rory and his thoughts, and then they unleash their powers on Gwen.

After a few moments you see Gwendolyn fall. She makes no sound as she does so, it is unclear if she is still alive.

The ghosts of King's past all converge on your group and pass through you to the other side of the room.

King Rory, you speak the truth. May your trust in these outsiders prove to not be your downfall. You four, take what you need, but not to overindulge. We WILL be watching!!

The large adamantite door opens, into a large room. The room is easily 100 feet long from door to back wall. From side to side must easily be 60-70 feet in width.

Inside the Sacred Shrine you see four 10x10 feet stone statues in the middle of the room.

The first, is King Bryn. He is wearing Spiked Stone Plate; wielding a Greataxe in both hands. Around his shoulders is a beautiful black cloak, the clasp in the shape of a warhammer.

The second is King Ceazro. He is wearing a Chain Shirt; dual wielding a Longsword and Shortsword. A Heavy Steel Shield is strapped to his back. A belt adorns his waist.

The third is King Koan. He is wearing Spiked Chainmail. The spikes are not your typical iron, they appear to made of Cold Iron. He is wielding a Longbow. He has a beautiful Quiver slung over his back, and a pair of Shortsword are flanking at his waist.

The final statue is King Aload. Surprisingly enough, he wields no weapons. He has a fancy Headband on, as well as a pair of well made Boots on. On his waist is a Silver Siangham.

such beautiful equipment, I serve a god of steel and war, what may I wear that will please his sensibilities.

Wulfgar slowly walks around the first statue of King Bryn. As he walks around a second time he respectfully runs his hands over the Spiked Stone Plate the statue is wearing; Wulfgar gently caresses the Greataxe; eventually touching the a beautiful black cloak and it's clasp in the shape of a warhammer. Wulfgar in aw, asks King Rory.

"King Rorrrry be forrrrgivink my ignorrrrance. May ye be tellink us about these items? Da"

Aye lad, but what I be tellin' ya is only myth. I say this because these are stories passed down from one to another. Legend says, King Bryn was a beast of a man. A ferocity that was only rivaled by the Gods. The armor protected him until he lost to a shadow. Damned incorporeal bastards. His weapon of preference was his Greataxe. When he found a chink in the soft spot of the enemy, many say the Greataxe would sound like thunder.

King Ceazro, was equally a force, but more tactical in nature when compared to Bryn. Not many could match his wits. He was a sword master, in a land filled with hammer loving dwarves. While he took, some flack for it, he silenced those critiques just as quick. The belt I am unsure about, but he always wore it so he was enshrined with it

He stops for a few moments, the stands in front of King Koan.

King Koan was another king with unusual tactics. He would rain down death with his longbow. His boots helped him traverse the battlefield. He was very precise with all his decisions, he died while fighting off a Drow invasion.

And finally, King Aload. He was a activist at heart. But if you threatened his clan, there would be hell to pay. Legend holds, only Torag himself could punch harder. Aload was one tough son of a b*#!@!. He rests his hand on the statue, then turns to your group.

Please, bring honor and glory to our clan. It is up to you to stop the mad plan of the Chelish.

Man that's an impressive list of weaponry. Still not certain what to take ... I'm thinking the shirt because if it's mithril it should be better then my current armor, the belt to increase my hp & carrying capacity. I'm either thinking the bow+quiver or the +1 holy shortsword. But it feels like I'd be taking to much.

"Hmm, let's see if I'm still as flexible as when I wear my leather armor."

Wulfgar is only taking one item are they going by person or total?

need to hold still, if he makes it do we get more ale as a prize?

Wulfgar holds very still as Balthe plays ring toss with his head, as he feels it land and instantly becoming wiser he smiles, wishing they had more ale to go with the games.
