Found something strange with the d20 site for mythic feats. It tosses in 3rd party stuff without saying that it is 3rd party. If you click on the feat and scroll down a little you can see what book it came from. Just a reminder for everyone to double check to make sure what they picked out is legal.

Pavaan- thanks for pointing that out. so far i haven't noticed any mythic feats that were 3pp but if anyone is uncertain they should double check (because if you accidentally took a 3pp one you will have to change it)

See if you can get nate to let you put the effect of Slippers of Feather Step onto your boots of speed. It's 2000gp to ignore all difficult terrain forever.

3000 gp, actually, as it's adding a magic effect to something that already has an effect on a certain body slot.
Still worth it(and in the budget)

Either way, I finally updated with a bit of backstory.

Also, again, good luck to everybody in the runnings. I took a look at some submissions though, and there's really a couple high-quality ones in there.
Will be very interesting to see the picks.

As it turned out, I had a busy week last week and an busier weekend, and wasn't able to get a submission together. I was also, in fairness, struggling a bit for inspiration, so it's probably for the best that I didn't put up something half-hearted.

Hey all- party assembly is well underway! I've read through (and even made notes on) everything from everyone and now I'm trying to find that elusive balance of well-rounded party, compatible characters, and compatible players... I have a few PMs I'm waiting to hear back from people on right now and will make the announcement as soon as I can.

so...is it a bad sign if one has no PM waiting?...I usually try and avoid pm-ing during recruitment...if there's specific questions(like with the spells) there's enough time to sort that out afterwards...either way, i know it must be hard to pick. I feel like a teenager waiting for a concert *gg*

Not necessarily. There were a couple applicants that I wanted a little more info from to help me decide- not getting a PM just means I have all the info I need.

Hope you do manage to strike that perfect balance and of course that it includes me in it...

Either way this concept sounds fun. So much so I might run something similar at my own table soon

Hey everyone,
I'm not sure if anyone is still looking at this thread at all but we need a new arcane caster. I see some of the original profiles have been recycled, and some of the players seem to have disappeared, so rather than trying to search through here for someone I posted a new recruitment thread. If you'd like to resubmit your character from the first time around, that's fine (though you might want to tweak it now that you can see what everyone else is/does); or you can build something new (if, for example, you weren't primarily an arcane caster the first time around).
