Okay, our resident expert said that it was difficult to throw multiple bombs linked together. Historically the bola, a South American weapon composed of a similar arrangement on a smaller scale had to be rotated and thrown perfectly to get them to hit a target accurately. Linking explosives together that are flammable and breakable to throw would be much more difficult and could not hit any target accurately over ten feet. The main concern would be having two of them hit each other on release and douse the user.

This is nothing like a bola. It's more like a hammer toss with a bunch of small weights instead of one large one.

I want to throw oil at the catapult. I rolled three very high rolls. I'll leave it up to you how it works out.

I had it land right next to the catapult. I marked the impact point on the map.

Yeah I think it might be worth us all taking at least a rank in it. The more of us that can talk our way out of situations the better. Plus, I am considering making Talon into an arcane archer, so sorcerer levels are a must for me. Might not be the most amazing sorcerer ever, but a fireball in your face is going to hurt if I have Charisma 13 or Charisma 130.

So how was everyone's weekend? Aside from being still sick from the flu shot a full week ago, the highlight of my weekend was my fledgling toddler finding the door to the basement open and falling down a full flight of stairs. He must have rolled really high on his Acrobatics check, because he came out of it with only a few scrapes and one big bruise.

Yikes! It's good that your toddler is ok. Kids are built like little tanks, I remember when my little brother was that age. Once managed to fall down our stairs at home and come away with a tiny bump on the head. He didn't even cry.

Sounds like your kid is looking to get some levels in rogue though!

Yeah, my wife and I are very happy he turned out so well. It was terrifying to hear it and then realize what had happened, but he'll be fine - like you said, kids are made for this kind of thing.

I'm Antha the wizardess in our Kingmaker game. Also, you can hover your mouse cursor over a person's name and it'll show who the parent screen-name is, as well as a "dominant" alias. I used to show up as "Alias of Macharius, aka Fearghus" until I had several other characters acquire close to the same number of posts as I have under that one.

Oh, and Chainmail - if you kill Thalas again I'll bring him in as my replacement! :D

Good to see the toddler is ok. I remember when my little brother fell down a full flight of stair to the basement under the exact same circumstances. He didn't even go to the hospital.

@ Chainmail: Hopefully I haven't been messing up the Diplo checks as he is just trying to improve relations at this point. If I do mess up a skill let me know and I will correct myself. But I try and add what he's trying to accomplish in the OOC part like -Diplomacy - Improve Relations. Just so it makes things a little clearer for you.

I did it also because will wasn't really making requests of them as more trying to befriend them at this point. I'm glad though they helped us out with Elorin. :D That's a big plus!
