A not so small part of me is gleefully clapping over the wreckage and destruction, another, larger, part of me is screaming noooooo over the water draining and the fact Faliana is holding a weapon she's not proficient with and her spear is Ashava knows where, which was stupid in retrospect.

As the water rushes out of the tank, Faliana gives a frown of concentration, trying to ride the waves out safely. As the water rushes over and past her her face changes into a look of glee. With a laugh, Fritannia shouts out, "Now this is a combat! Now where is that b&!#~ calling all these creatures? We need to spend some time together!"

A smile still on her face she takes a few moments to get her bearings on the new battlefield, trying to find her spear and her target. Spotting something behind Dale, she gives a shout and points. "Look, over there! She's right behind Dale! If she can't find her spear Faliana then rushes up to the ripples in the water.

Random Dice rolls since i have no idea what to use for that.: 1d20 ⇒ 14

The perception was not a move action. Just a normal passive check.
If you want, you can roll a move action try as well, if you fail the passive check... (Monty, you can make that random second roll a move action perception check if you want, to get the right square.... else you just have somewhere around that square.)

Put the little blue square back on the map, where Faliana is trying to draw attention, though if you don't make the check, you'll be in the 'area' of that square.

Faliana, you're not sure where the spear is... there's still far too much standing water... and a swamp barracuda... where you saw it last.

Oh, and anyone who manages to take a swipe at Lura... please roll the 1d100 miss chance to go with it. 1-50 = miss

Cool action economy and Crum no spear! I'm assuming that she doesn't have to ake a move to not find the spear, right?

Fritannia, deciding the spear is a lost cause right now, heft the much heavier and larger hammer. "I haven't used this in a while, I'm pro'ably a bit rusty." Her smile then turns a little cruel as she brings the weapon to bear against the ripples.

In melee, every time you miss because of concealment (see Combat), you can reroll your miss chance percentile roll one time to see if you actually hit.

An invisible attacker gets no advantages related to hitting you in melee. That is, you don't lose your Dexterity bonus to Armor Class, and the attacker doesn't get the usual +2 bonus for being invisible. The invisible attacker's bonuses do still apply for ranged attacks, however.

You do not need to make Acrobatics skill checks to move at full speed while blinded.

Normal: Regular attack roll modifiers for invisible attackers trying to hit you apply, and you lose your Dexterity bonus to AC. The speed reduction for darkness and poor visibility also applies.
Special: The Blind-Fight feat is of no use against a character who is the subject of a blink spell.

As everyone recovers from the chaos of the tank breaking, the reason for breaking it quickly bears fruit as Faliana and Dale both spot the tell-tale indicators of Lura's invisible presence in the standing water covering the floor.

Faliana, feeling some exaltation at the result of the tank breaking, has that dampened (ha!) slightly as she realizes she has lost her spear in the aftereffects. Undaunted, she moves to confront Lura with the lucerne hammer in hand. Despite a lack of technique, she still manages to swing it properly, but can't quite connect with the invisible woman in front of her.

Dale draws a dagger and steps away from the nearest bird that is trying to peck his eyes out. He concentrates on not letting either of the fiendish creatures scratch him anymore... and seems to have success, despite his unusual technique. Though both birds continue to hover over his head, neither is able to get past the spoon/blade defensive posture he has taken up.

It takes Monty a moment to figure out where Lura is, but once it becomes obvious, he quickly moves over to confront her. Dru, after fighting to extract herself from beneath the table, does the same.

Under the nearby table, the reefclaw snaps at anyone that gets too near its current sanctuary. One pincer nips at Monty, though the vanaran easily dodges it, the other at a random person in the crowd on the far side. The people there quickly scramble away from the table to give the beast room.

Brady, recalls some earlier training that will hopefully help better fight an invisible opponent, as he gets back to his feet.

Tad, starting to feel a little woozy from all the creatures trying to kill him, uses his wand once more, healing himself this time. The colorful bird attacking him slashes at him with its wickedly curved beak, then takes flight over the room, making a tight turn before diving at him again.

Tad will get an AoO on the bird if he has a weapon in hand, as it failed its hover check so had to move away and circle back =)

The crowd around them seems to have cleared out somewhat, creating some open space.

You hear Lura curse, as you close in on her... then again as she realizes its the water on the floor that is giving her position away.

"The wrath of the entire Consortium will come down on your heads, soon enough." She snarls. "I merely need occupy you long enough." You can almost hear the smirk on her face.

Once more, you hear her saying arcane words, and see the magical motes in the air, before she splashes away from you all. Her path is easy to follow through the water though, as she seems to be heading towards the back side of the tank.

OK, will bot Tad for now (will put him in total defense mode!) ... moving on!

As she falls to the water-covered floor, Lura's form slowly comes back into sight, as her invisibility seems to finally fade.

The Pathfinders are quick to take advantage. Faliana hurries around the far side of the tank, to cut her off should she keep trying to retreat. Dru moves up and tries to strike her a quick blow around the corner of the tank, but can't quite clear the edge to make solid contact, despite Lura laying on the ground.

Brady, his mind suddenly clouded by magic, can do little but shake his head as he tries to clear the cobwebs.

Dale continues his patented defensive technique, trying to fend off the evil macaws intent on pecking his face off. Unfortunately, they seem to be figuring it out. The first manages to land a nasty bite past the spoon, and another talon claws at his forearms while Dale reels back from the first blow (9 damage to Dale!). The second bird slashes at him with its beak, then flaps away and comes in from a different angle to continue its attack.

Dale:
You do recall, from your earlier ponderings on Summoners, that their summons tend to stick around considerably longer then most arcane casters... (ie: minutes/level, not rounds)
You're not sure if you will last long enough to see it end.

Tad steps away from the crowds trying to sidle towards his companions, also trying to fend off the bird. He is not nearly as successful, as the bird swoops in and slashes his arms with its sharp beak, before flying by and swooping around for another pass.

Lura glares up at Monty, murder in her eyes, before scrambling quickly back to her feet.

Monty will get an AoO as she stands.

"Outta my way!" She yells, as she elbows and pushes her way through the nearby spectators towards the bar. She clambers over the counter, kicking bottles and glasses everywhere, rolling over to the far side, and coming up with a spiked mace in hand that she pulls from under the bar.

(its a morning star! Technically, she drew it as she moved, but pulling a weapon from under the bar is a tried and true tradition, so I went with that!)

The crowd splits, as they scramble to either side. Others start pouring towards the far side of the bar, to get a better view of the action.

"I don't know who you bastards are working for, monkey man" Lura spits out. "But we will find out, and burn you... all of you... to the ground!"

Tad and Dale are beset, both one hit from down! (Tad would be down if I could make a hover check, and Dale would be down if he wasn't in total defense!) I remembered the Augment Summoning this time =)

Moving over the counter/bar is difficult terrain, and requires a DC 10 acrobatics check (which will provoke)! Except for Monty, who can move past it normally.

At this point, the Reefclaw will only attack someone adjacent to it... as it hides under the table. Took it off the initiative order.

The vision--Brady standing over the concentric circles that indicated the invisible woman in the water--fades. Brady finds that his mind somehow got ahead of his body, and that he is still standing amidst the still-draining wreckage of the aquarium.

I moved; I chased her! I saw it? Why didn't it happen; why am I still standing here like a buffoon?

He shakes off the final daze and pushes past his confusion, knowing there is no time to dwell.

He turns to the double doors near him, and pushes through the crowd, trying to get outside. "Make room; make way!" He calls as he moves.
__________
Not sure what the impact of people in his way is. Brady's goal is to get outside and try to find the back door, to prevent Lura from escaping that way. Please move him as far as he can get towards that objective with a double move.

The bar counter is difficult terrain, and requires an acrobats or climb (I originally said acrobatics... but meant to say either). Though it will provoke.

Though Dru doesn't have enough movement to get over the bar and attack. If she stops on the bar, she can still get a swing.

OK... after an unexpected delay...

Brady quickly pushes his way through the onlookers and out the side door onto the dock. He rushes along the outside of the building, jumping over a man passed out against the wall, trying to reach one of the side doors in case Lura tries to flee.

Brady:
Off through the night, across the many bridges and walkways of the city, you see a number of torches hurrying along, carried by what you can only assume is a largish contingent of people. They seem to be coming in your direction, though you could be just projecting....

If they are, the lay of the land means they will have to go the long way around to get to the tavern... and thus are still probably a few minutes out.

Faliana moves into position, the trickster spirit in her spouting off bravado as she does, only her skill at using the weapon does not back up the words as it strikes the tank behind her on the back swing, and then nearly takes off the head of a nearby patron on the fore.

Lura only sneers at her and doesn't even bother trying to duck out of the way of the poorly aimed weapon. "Judging by how you handle that haft, I doubt you know anything about being a real woman, b@~&&." She snarls back.

Drusilla hesitating for a moment, unsure whether to help Dale with the birds, or confront the woman that summoned them. Finally she decides to go after Lura, quickly moving forward, and scrambling up on the counter. Looming over the much smaller woman, she easily bats aside Lura's attempt to strike her with her morning star, and instead brings her own morning star to bear! Landing a crushing blow on Lura's shoulder. You can almost hear the sound of her clavicle snapping beneath the force of the blow, and blood starts to flow freely down her arm.

Monty follows Dru over the counter, moving around to flank with Faliana, and tries to upend the woman once more. This time though, despite being in obvious pain from Dru's attack, Lura manages to barely shift her feet, but it is enough to knock Monty's staff aside.

Behind them all, Tad and Dale try desperately to heal themselves while continuing to get assaulted by the evil-tainted macaws... but the birds finally get the upper hand in the war of attrition.

Tad manages to heal most of his wounds... he then is just able to duck his head to avoid the vicious beak, only to have both of the bird's talons claw into his neck. The grippli collapses to the floor under the onslaught, and the bird finally comes in to land on his body, intent continuing the assault on the unconscious cleric.

It takes everything Dale has to avoid one of the birds, and still heal himself, but without his spoon on defense, he finds himself suddenly open to the other. Just like Tad, two sharpened talons rip at his flesh, and he too collapses to the water-covered tavern floor. Both birds land on him, just as intent on pecking him apart as the one on Tad.

Behind the bar, Lura smiles grimly as she steps back away from the counter.

"You've no more help now." She snarls, noticeably favoring her left shoulder, barely able to lift that arm at all.

"You brought so many, yet have done so little... and it's taken you so long..." She spits out a bit of blood contemptuously. "I sent for backup the moment you showed yourselves. How long do you think you have left? If you flee now, perhaps you'll live."

She does not say anything, or make any gestures, but you see the slight magical motes whirling around her once more as she performs magic as if by pure thought alone.

"But I doubt it." She adds as she completes her spell. Behind you, the three birds give a last aggrieved squawk and suddenly disappear.

Those still standing instantly start looking around for whatever replaces them... but only Faliana thinks to look up in time, as three snakes drop from above. Two of them are bright green, the third a yellowish color, though all three have the same evil red eyes as the birds.

Although her weapon is too long to be of use, Faliana is able to quickly step aside, as the snake lands in the water at her feet and lashes out at her with fangs dripping poison.

Monty and Dru however, do not notice the tiny creatures in time, through all the chaos. One of them lands on the bar counter and Dru suddenly feels a sharp prick on her calf. (2 damage to Drusilla)

I need a Fortitude save DC 11 from Dru or take 1d2 ⇒ 1 con damage.

The yellow snake lands right on Monty's shoulder, and sinks its teeth into his left forearm, before it too drops to the floor at his feet, hissing dangerously. (3 damage to Monty)

I need a Fortitude save DC 11 from Monty or take 1d2 ⇒ 2 con damage.

Dru and Monty, if you failed the above saves, you will need to save again on your turn...

Note: The snakes are size tiny (about 1 and a half feet long), and are actually in your spaces right now.

The patrons nearby start to scramble back a little more, many of them recognizing the snakes and not wanting to be anywhere near them.

Lura then pulls a small vial out of one of her pockets.

As Faliana crawls up onto the bar, Drusilla hops off the far side. The snakes attempt to strike both women as they leave, though neither manages to connect.

Faliana once more seems unable to get her lucerne hammer to work the way she want, her words not quite having the weight without the weapon. To add insult to injury, Lura seems to start ignoring her as a threat entirely, not even bothering to answer her commentary this time as she seems more concerned about Drusilla.

Dru seems intent on proving that concern warranted... As she leaps off the bar, she brings her morning star down in a mighty overhand blow. Despite being ready, Lura has no chance at all to avoid it, and the sound of pulping flesh and shattering bone accompany the thud of her motionless form hitting the tavern floor. The small vial she drew clinks to the floor beside her, quickly enveloped by the rapidly expanding pool of blood.

The snakes do not disappear and still seem intent on Dru, Faliana, and Monty. You think Lura might still be breathing, despite her wounds.

Chaos breaks out among the crowd as Lura goes down.

GM:
It takes a move action to open a door. Brady is 1 square away from the door when he starts this round. So, he would have to 5' step, then take a move action to open the door. He'd have a standard action left, but couldn't use it to move because he already took a 5' step this round.

That's frustratingly little action this round. :(

If, on the other hand, he didn't have to take that first 5' step to reach the door, he'd be able to open the door as a move-equivalent action, then move his 30' and be positioned to open the door behind Lura next round. This seems like a reasonable amount of action for a round. If you think of opening the door as part of a smooth movement action, it makes sense (kinda like how you can move both before and after a jump, because it's considered to be part of your movement).

Are you okay with that? If not, all good. The post here will be vague enough to allow for either option; if you'd place Brady in the ending spot you feel is reasonable,
I'd appreciate it.

Brady comes up to the side door into the bar; he flings it open and tries to keep moving as quickly as possible. His urgency increases because of what he saw (not yet guys, not telling you yet!), but he resists calling out in alarm, afraid to give Lura the emotional weaponry to try to demoralize the Pathfinders.

Brady, all the doors and windows are open (its a hot night, they wanted the air flow!) You can just move through them at present.

Basically, handwaving the rest of this, but one of the snakes will get a shot at Faliana before I do!

Brady hurries through the open doors and pops into the bar area just in time to watch Monty stomps on the yellowish snake at his feet, then step towards the bar and bring his short staff down on the one biting at Dru. Both of those snakes quickly dissolve into a greasy black smoke and disappear.

The last remaining snake slithers up the side of the bar, over the counter, and lashes out again at Faliana, biting her on the right shoulder. (3 damage to Faliana)

Will need a DC 11 Fort save from Faliana... or take 1d2 ⇒ 1 con damage.

That is all it gets to do, as it is quickly dispatched after that.

Combat Over!

The bar breaks down into a cheering frenzy! Some of the staff start grabbing whatever is in the till and under the counter, and carry what they can off into the night.

One of them, who you saw acting as bartender earlier, a tall balding man with greasy black hair and broken nose, starts kicking and beating at them until they stop, then comes over to you grinning crookedly.

"Well... guess I just got promoted!" He says, taking off his apron. He snags one of the bookies, shouts at him for a bit, then takes a purse from the man.

"Here, ya earned it! He says, tossing it to Dru. The clink of coins is obvious. "Can't say any of us is gonna miss that b+*$&. But sure was good for business! Made a killin'!" He pauses for a moment, then laughs. "Quite literal, like!"

He then goes back to yelling at the remaining staff members.

Across the room, a new betting pool seems to be starting, involving the reefclaw, still hiding under the table, and various drunk patrons.

A number of the crowd start offering to buy you drinks as well, though most of them are speaking in Polyglot, so it takes a moment to realize what they're on about.

Note, I'm still keeping track of time here. Dale is still bleeding out, he and Tad are still unconscious, and Faliana might be poisoned... everyone is injured.

She starts to take a look around the place but completely misses the viper until it latches onto her shoulder.

She quickly pulls the snake off, tosses it away and smashes it with her hammer, but not before some of the poison works into her system. Feeling a little feverish, she wavers a bit, but quickly tries to stay resolute. She looks over to Dru and gives a short nod, she digs around in her bag and pulls out a bottle with a softly glowing blue liquid. "Don't tell me ya forgot the backup hail-Pharasma? But I'm not feelin' so good after that snake. Mind helpin' me?"

With a glance at the rest of the bar, she calls out to Monty and Brady. "Hey, Boss, Guide, think ya can get what we came for? I'm not likin' the idea of more enemies."
