Okay, so slight corrections. and you weren't being "that guy", I'm just a little off today.

so, instead, you guys are all surrounded by the murderous town guard together! there are reinforcements coming down the stairs, and Conwall or Ron may sacrifice one of their actions to defend Natria.

sorry, kinda made moves withot establishing the scene enough. In my defense, she wasn't going to be dead unless you guys retreated. also, Tom can raise the dead.

In that case...

Wanna just use your roll from defending Conwall, or are you sacrificing the spell?

If we are all downstairs, if Natria is standing, etc. we still need to get the civilians out of little finger's trap before we focus on killing.

Tom waits for the others to exit with the civilians and hangs back with Conwall and anyone else to defend the doorway from pursuing guards, For the third time in so many weeks we find ourselves moments away from destruction, and once more we will walk away.

Belym looks at Natria, and says "I'm really sorry about this, but we need an exit. Now." before turning and launching a boulder at whichever guard is closest to a wall, trying to send him through it.

For future reference: I'm uncertain as to whether Belym could summon an elemental indoors. The move as written certainly would allow it, but the fiction so far implies that the "echoes" that give it form might need to come from the earth. I could see that either making it impossible to summon, or leading to elementals that erupt through the floor from the dirt below. Thoughts?

I'd like to maneuver so as to put Roshan between the bulk of the men and an upturned table, giving her a wall to fight from to keep from being surrounded. I'd like her to do that by jumping onto the table and pulling it down behind her. Would there be a benefit to that, and should I roll?

Roshan draws her dual talwar with a predatory grin. "Such a shame..."

Ron

take 1d6 damage from the guards sword

Conwall

Absolutely, is your intention to kill the guard, or open the door? because the latter would be DD+STR.

Belym

The elemental thing is your call, I would allow either interpretation

Your boulder mangles the guardsman as it smashes through the window. the resultant hole is easily big enough to fit 4 men abreast. The guardsman's head snaps back into place, and his limbs twist back to their proper alignment. What do you do?

Tom

Two men freeze, held in place be What does your Hold Person look like? Two of the men immediately try to grap your arms, what do you do?

Roshan

Sounds like DD+Dex, and only a few people will come at you at a time. which makes you significantly less likely to die.

Male Human Cleric 6 26/26 HP | 14 XP | Bless, Sanctuary, Speak With Dead | -2 cast a spell, 2 hold (spend 2 to make camp, 5 to escape labyrinth), blessed

Tom lifts his walking stick vertically and raps it on the ground, the magics producing a sudden warm draft flowing through the room to the door way where the two men simply stop moving. The mark of Iisac appears on their joints, though only small dark marks can be seen on their hands or face if they are exposed. Tom drops his hand and the walking stick remains in place standing vertically as if balancing on the floorboards.

As the men reach for Tom he would try to pull himself forward with his staff and regain his footing to better face them with his sword. It's not a good position to try and use his saber in.

Female Dwarf Channeler 8 (23/28 hp, 1 armor, d4 damage, 2/15 xp) (Str -1, Dex +2, Con +3, Int +2, Wis +1, Cha +0)

Belym gapes at the seemingly uninjured guard for a moment before calling out "Ron, get those two out, I'll clear the path!" She then quickly runs her hands down her form, creating long stone ridges disc her body and growing broad claws before diving at the floor, tearing a hole through it and burrowing down and out. She emerges in the street, near the guard she just slammed through the wall, some blood dripping from the places her stone carapace meets her skin.

Are the guards also going after Kenan? How is he reacting to the last 5 minutes of his life?

Ron leads Natria (and Kenan if he isn't behaving all culty) towards the hole Belym made, using his shield to push aside guards near enough to lash out at the couple. Just trying to maintain defend holds over moving targets.

Will spend my last hold to redirect any attacks directed at the couple to me.

Spout Lore: 2d6 - 1 ⇒ (1, 2) - 1 = 2

Nothing comes to him so he attempts the only thing that could easily turn the tide of this fight. Grasping his holy symbol with a hand freed with Conwall and Ron's interventions.

Turn Undead: 2d6 + 2 ⇒ (2, 6) + 2 = 10-> so long as you continue to pray and brandish your holy symbol, no undead may come within reach of you. You also momentarily daze intelligent undead and cause mindless undead to flee. Aggression breaks the effects and they are able to act as normal. Intelligent undead may still find ways to harry you from afar. They’re clever like that.

Choosing to draw (un)welcome attention.

Targets: 1d4 ⇒ 1

Conwall

The man on Tom's left goes down, beheaded in a single stroke. You watch as Roshan cuts down her last foe, and Ron's spell sends the other one slumping to the floor moments after he strikes. the only foes who remain are the ones facing Belym, and the one Ron is engaged with. What do you do?

Roshan

purple blood covers the floor as the last foe goes down, his ribcage torn open by your blades wicked hook. Four of the heretics yet stand, three of them accost the dwarf, and the forth is locked in combat with the old man. from your right, you can see hellfire burning in the air, as the two held by the priests spell go up in a great conflagration. What do you do?

Belym

Your stone beast lunges, and dismembers one of the guards, who one of the warriors happily finishes off. your boulder, however, goes wide (and no doubt scares the hell out of some ghoul-crocodile when it lands). id does, however, give the demon-guards some ideas, and they return your volley with a bolt of screeching hellfire. What do you do? 1d8+2 messy ignores armour

Tom

in your desperation (and blood loss), you had failed to realize that these are not servants of Zimran, and as such, chanting the names of the saints of Iisac will not deter them. this message is brought home with a dagger to the sternum 1d8+2, maybe you should see if you can borrow Roshan's dice, she's rolling well. fortunately, the man passes out before he can deliver a follow-up stroke. you are free now. your captives, however, seem to have decided to incinerate themselves. the two you held with magic are currently ablaze, what do you do?

Ron

your spell frees tom from his assailants, however, it also allows your opponent to get to his feet, and he strikes a blow at your knee on the way up. what do you do? No damage, but DD or fall on your ass again

Roshan crosses the room in a few smooth steps and crashes into the group accosting Belym outside.

Is there a difference in obstacles between attacking the men and defending Belym, and can Roshan defend her from the fireball?

Female Dwarf Channeler 8 (23/28 hp, 1 armor, d4 damage, 2/15 xp) (Str -1, Dex +2, Con +3, Int +2, Wis +1, Cha +0)

A surge of energy races up the earthen harness tying Belym to the beast; the harness vanishes as an earthen disc deflects the fire back into the ground. Only had 1 control, so the beast is now loose. Belym repeats her attempt to level one of the "guards" with a boulder.

Channel Giant's Sharpened Stones(forceful, near): 2d6 + 3 ⇒ (3, 4) + 3 = 10
Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 6

She then bends down and tries to pull another elemental from the earth...

Summon Blast Elemental: 2d6 + 3 ⇒ (3, 3) + 3 = 9

Ugh. I'll take a different tag, I guess. What does it look like when these guys produce their hellfire?

Belym seems to be well protected, but maybe it's time for me to rescue Ron. As his assailant strikes his ankles, I rush in to engage the guard.

H&S or just damage?
